Well maintained park- remodeled women’s showers were very nice! There’s a farm field next to here that provided beautiful sunrise view (classic heartland). easy on/off to i70 which is convenient but added a little road noise. some plane and train sounds too. great place to lay our heads on a cross country journey. Friendly professional proprietors. felt safe and slept well.

Our family had a college graduation and we all stayed at The Lawrence KOA there were 30 of us. They were amazing, maintenance workers chatted, office staff so helpful and pleasant. The cabin was clean and ready for us. I would definitely stay again.

The men’s bathroom was closed and only one porta-potty provided. When I went to use it, it was as nasty as any I have ever seen. I think a minimum of 3 should have been provided. Otherwise was a very nice campsite. I was just passing through….

Great location. Close to campus if you’re interested in visiting the university. Nice restaurants around campus. The campground is pleasant and quiet. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent staff. The electricity and sewer hookups were fantastic and parking was easy. The only complaint is that the water hookup had a leak below ground level and it flooded that side of camper and made for a very messy disconnect and tear down when we had to leave.

Smaller property, clean, we'll maintained, very quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful. Kamp k9 had a nice sized dog run. No pet waste stations anywhere else.

You can’t go wrong staying at a KOA! We are traveling across the states to get home, so stayed only one night, but KOA hospitality, dependability and comfortable facilities make it a great stay every time.

Nice, clean, people friendly, quiet. Baths under remodel but did not need them. Wi-Fi also down again did not need it. Easy to find with room to spare once parked. Gravel sites with nice metal table and chairs. Would stay again if in the area.

We stay here on a regular basis and it continues to improve. The only real negative for us at this point is that the gravel is way past time to improve. The sites, for the most part, are level and the dog park is great. If it rains, the roads are either muddy or they hold puddles of water - hence the comment about gravel. This is a good place to stay.

We LOVE the Lawrence KOA! We've stayed there 5-6 times, and have a couple of upcoming stays during football season. The team there is so nice and helpful. The facilities are in great condition, and the park is in a great location, near Mass St and campus. Don't ever change!

The crew at Kansas City West has spared no effort in transforming KOA West into a beautiful and supremely functional campground. The staff is always very knowledgeable about camping matters and they are eager to help campers with any issues that might arise. The park was clean and the staff were very helpful. The staff came around during a tornado warning and knocked on camper doors and directed folks to the shelter.

It was only an overnight stop but we had an enjoyable evening. Campground is very quiet except for the train, which we advised about on arrival.

I am driving by myself and my dog and was a long day. I’ve been slowly heading from Colorado down to Florida and stopped at the Lawrence KOA. I stayed in a basic KOA cabin, and one I am very accustomed to renting. I got there after the office closed and left in the morning. The only thing I would say that was disappointing is that the bathhouse was down and only had a Porto potty.

This KOA is one of the Best I have stayed at. The staff goes above and beyond. What a friendly staff, willing to help in anyway possible. Kimberly, her husband, and the staff worked hard to help my wife and I with the last minute commendation due to a departure of a love one in a the local area. I Highly Recommend this KOA and we appreciate the professional and personable staff. THANK YOU!!!!!!

I book out a year or so in advance, I got a call 30 mins before check in time, to inform me bath house is out of service. Being there for 4 days and not being at the KOA during business hours, & not being able to shower was not on my Vaca list! Wish I'd known before so I could have made different plans. I feel like some refund should be issued, that is quite an inconvenience. We stay 2x a year!

Its a good campground, the showers could be warmer and the sites are a little close together. But not bad. I really don't get the noise complaints the trains are not loud the highway is constant but not bad. Just adjust your hearing aids.

We really enjoyed this RV park! The staff was so friendly! The grounds were very clean and pretty and we enjoyed a nice walk after a long days drive. We REALLY enjoyed the super fast WiFi that allowed us to stream a movie, something so rare at RV parks! By far the BEST KOA we've ever been to. Other reviews mentioned the train noise, but we were informed of it right upon check in and offered ear plugs (which we declined), but it wasn't even that loud and with our fans and AC, we never even heard it overnight. We have added this KOA to our list of RV parks to return to when we travel across country!
