This campground was perfect! It's so cute and pretty and peaceful! Pool was great. Playground were great. Employees were so nice. Bathrooms were clean. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely be back! We absolutely loved it here!

The park itself is well-appointed & clean. However, we booked a Pull Thru FHU site & when we got to our site, we were awning to awning, door facing door in very tight quarters with another trailer. In fact, their picnic table & ours were side by side. Yikes. It would’ve been awkward being outside so close to campers we don’t know. We chose to upgrade $ to a Patio site. Luckily, it was availabl

Nice campground. Booked paved patio at back of park super close to dog park, no paw pen but not needed for patio sites. Multiple playgrounds and pool was a great feature.

Needed a place closer to hospital so we could visit son in ICU. While the slot (#36) was rated as "extra long" , in my opinion that is not an accurate description. Our 32 ft trailer plus our pickup would not fit in the length. We WERE very happy with the nearby overflow parking. The nearby train tracks ARE a problem.... however, we mask campground noises with our A/C and pink noise device.

They helped us so much when we had trouble at our site. When we had trailer trouble they helped us find a new site. They offered to help set up. They were wonderful.

Not the most peaceful KOA to stay at. Camp sites are very close together. This makes noise from other campers an issue especially if traveling with pets. There are also trains that cycle through pretty regularly. One plus is that the campground is well maintained.

PJ and his wife were so nice and helpful. Park was clean and well kept. The "buddy" sites were strange because you shared a common area with strangers. Fortunately we had really nice neighbors.

Great KOA! Very clean and friendly. I wish they had cable TV and better internet. The staff was awesome and went out of their way to help us with anything we needed. We will definitely be back!

Friendly and helpful staff, super clean and great area. We stayed in a cabin and never heard the train many of the reviews mention. Good location, 25 minutes from legends outlets and 45 minutes from downtown. Price is excellent.

Very nice and relaxing. Easy in and out. Very nice pool. Had a pull through site and did not have to unhook for our one night stay.

We have stayed here for about 8 years in a row around the July 4th holiday. We love the location and the dog park. However, the sites are on top of each other with very little privacy. Even though there were numerous other sites that could have been assigned, they seemed to pack all of the RVs in together regardless of empty locations. We like more elbow room. The store was adequate.

Site was not level and when requesting a new site the camp-host insisted the problem was because I was towing a vehicle! They finally gave me a level site by the storage area even though numerous sites in a much better area were available. They said they were all booked for the night. They had many no shows because they were not occupied the next morning. Not your typical KOA service

We spent a very four days here celebrating our 50th anniversary. Very clean campground, and staff were very friendly. Since we have family in Lawrence we will certainly stay here again.

We had our grandkids with us and they absolutely loved the zip line and pool. The grounds were clean and well maintained and the staff was courteous. Next time we’ll spend a few days here.

Overnight stay. Campground had nice, accessible pull throughs. Pizza and wings available to order. Kind people in office. Bathrooms clean as well.

Pros: -Big Rig Friendly (40 ft 5th wheel) 50 amp with full hook ups - Two playgrounds - Frisbee golf baskets - kids zip line -nice clean bathrooms/showers -dog park - good Starlink service -Verizon coverage was decent Cons -the showers in the women's room were difficult to maintain temperature and would get really hot for three seconds and then back to normal - loud train nearby Great campground. Would stay again.

Had a great experience renting a small cabin traveling through on I-70. Very clean cabin, very convenient for I-70 travelers. Bathroom was spotless, entire staff was smiling and made you feel like family. Great location to downtown Lawrence for shopping and entertainment. 👍 Lawrence KOA does it right. Will visit again when traveling through.

I am staying in an R. V. At this place and I love the peace. And quiet and how beautiful it is over. Here it is a very nice place to go for KOA HOLIDAY RV PARK . I recommend if you're going through town. Stop here, stay overnight. They have all the amenities. It is a great place. I am from far out of town, so for me. This is comfort. Also, they're the certified propane fill ups . So if you need propane, they have it on site, they can fill your bottles before you depart. They also make homemade pizzas in their little kitchen, I would highly recommend.
