We have camped at KOA West, dozens of times, and our stays there have always been a joy. The staff is absolutely remarkable. They are helpful, professional, and obviously take great pride in their work. We recommend this KOA above all others that we have ever visited. These folks are the best! Don't know why this location is rated as a Holiday as I have stayed a Journies that were nicer. Had issues with our water after detaching and setting up. They finally figured out the problem and fixed it. OK for an overnight stay while traveling. I think a little upgrading might help some.

Camper cabin bed was very uncomfortable. Wifi did not work at all which was very upsetting because I work remotely. I had to leave early so I could do my work at McDonald's. Pool was nice. Restroom was clean.

The office crew were super friendly. They told my kids about painted rocks hidden around the campground. The kids loved that as well as the playground and pool. The crew on the golf carts were friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay again.

Nicely taken care of, all amenities, good staff. Easy to get to and maneuver. We did not leave the park.

The lady that check us in was very friendly and helpful. She gave earplugs because the train goes through 3 or 4 times a night blowing it's horn, that's why I gave it an 8. The campground and bathrooms were very clean.

Lawrence/KC West is a significantly improved campground. The issues I had were the mosquitoes (but if they are around I'll get bit) and the dust from the roads. It would help to have paved roads and sites and our rig wouldn't get so dirty. That said, the staff was helpful, professional, and very pleasant - we will stay there again.

Very expensive one night rate. Park needs more gravel to level the sites. Ours had huge ruts. I twisted my knee The wifi was spotty. Didn't work at all for 2 hours. If the nighty rate was half of what I was charged I could have lived with these problems. Premium rates require premium facilities. 2 years ago we drive to the Grand Canyo .we stayed in KOAs during that trip of 3000 miles. ALL BETT

Staff was so attentive. Made special efforts and rounded the facility regularly. I appreciate their customer service. Pizza was excellent too. Enjoyed talking to Carissa too.

The staff is always top notch and bath house area is spotless! The pool was always amazingly clean, and the flowers added a bright touch to every corner games offered for family time is also nice. The train was not bad .

Pool looked clean but we didn't go in it. Friday evening after 7pm there were 3 rowdy young boys who had taken over the pool with an older young adult there smoking by the pool. Rules could be enforced for other guests. Showers could be cleaner; went right after cleaning on Friday and there was still grass in one stall and dirt in the other from the day before. Did not use because of this.

The camp ground is always clean and staff is friendly. We love staying at Lawrence KOA. The pool is great during the summer too!

Great staff and a clean park. We had a severe storm come through with tornado sirens, high winds and pouring rain. The staff for everyone to safety and under shelter. They supplied water for everyone and kept people safe. All the time staff members kept working checking on RV and hazards around the park. This park has a first class staff that works hard every day to take care of their guests.

Didn’t use the pool but the bathrooms/showers were clean. Can’t say that for the campground as there was one site that looked like it had been there awhile and had a very messy trashy unkept site but was evidently allowed by KOA; why?

Pros: -Big Rig Friendly (40 ft 5th wheel) 50 amp with full hook ups - Two playgrounds - Frisbee golf baskets - kids zip line -nice clean bathrooms/showers -dog park - good Starlink service -Verizon coverage was decent Cons -the showers in the women's room were difficult to maintain temperature and would get really hot for three seconds and then back to normal - loud train nearby Great campground. Would stay again.

Had a great experience renting a small cabin traveling through on I-70. Very clean cabin, very convenient for I-70 travelers. Bathroom was spotless, entire staff was smiling and made you feel like family. Great location to downtown Lawrence for shopping and entertainment. 👍 Lawrence KOA does it right. Will visit again when traveling through.

I am staying in an R. V. At this place and I love the peace. And quiet and how beautiful it is over. Here it is a very nice place to go for KOA HOLIDAY RV PARK . I recommend if you're going through town. Stop here, stay overnight. They have all the amenities. It is a great place. I am from far out of town, so for me. This is comfort. Also, they're the certified propane fill ups . So if you need propane, they have it on site, they can fill your bottles before you depart. They also make homemade pizzas in their little kitchen, I would highly recommend.
