We have stayed here several times in the past. The staff has always been friendly and accommodating. Beautiful park and nearby Lawrence has a lot to offer for dining and sightseeing. Highly recommend!

We came in very late and we’re planning on 10 Camping, but due to the storms, we ended up sleeping in a car. The only thing I would say is nothing was offered even via email to upgrade to a cabin or anything just because of knowing that the storms were coming in. I have stayed at this campground before and like the location and it’s cleanliness.

It’s a beautiful camp ground. The big problem is the sites are so narrow. Need more rocks on the ground due to all the rain. You step out at sites and they don’t want you to damage grass but that is exactly what you step out to is grass, wet and lots of puddles. It’s a beautiful park but needs improvements.

Tornado warning! The camp director knocked on every door to get all to a safe place. Love the personal touch~!

Very nice and a definite return. We had a weather event and the staff were so organized and made us all feel safe and calm. The playground area is very nicely set up

The people who run this KOA are so welcoming and make the campground so homey. Most KOA’s I have stayed do not have the bed made up, have towels and a hair drying already in the cabin. Each cabin has flowers and little areas of flowers. All so sweet and clean.

Tough repeat visit here due to bathroom renovations. That said, we knew they were doing them so it was not a surprise.

There was weather coming in and they were so kind to text us as well as give updates. They had amazing communication. There was a lot to do around the KOA that kept our kids entertained when we were there. We were going to check out Lawrence, but our kids liked the amenities so much, they asked if we could keep hanging out at the KOA.

We were thankful the pool was operational and the cabin was roomy and clean. The owners/staff was former Air Force veterans so that was nice too.

Beautiful campsite with our own dog run. Showers were clean and beautiful! Also enjoyed a pizza and chicken bites from camp store. We did have a little problem with 30 amp tripping after we turned on our A/C.

Great place to stay and they are always updating the place to better serve the campers. Great people on staff always willing to help. Great pizza too. Anytime I’m working in the area this is my go to place.

We have stayed here many times. The appearance of the campground, especially the camping sites, has greatly improved. Service was excellent and staff was friendly and professional. A great experience!

Sites close together. Only one picnic table for two sites and our neighbor set something on the table the first day so we had no table. Men’s restroom closed. They should have told us when we booked. Loud trains running all night. We will avoid this KOA in the future.

Trains noise is pretty bad. One train crossing and they have to honk forever. Thought having vent turned on would help but due to Thunderstorms we were without power most of the night.

Lawrence campground is great EXCEPT they are remodeling the men’s shower house and have a port a potty available. Not a problem, but it is so dirty! We understand the need for the portapotty but please clean it!! Cabins are nice and staff is friendly and available. We stay at Lawrence KOA twice a year-and always enjoy our time there.

Its a good campground, the showers could be warmer and the sites are a little close together. But not bad. I really don't get the noise complaints the trains are not loud the highway is constant but not bad. Just adjust your hearing aids.

We really enjoyed this RV park! The staff was so friendly! The grounds were very clean and pretty and we enjoyed a nice walk after a long days drive. We REALLY enjoyed the super fast WiFi that allowed us to stream a movie, something so rare at RV parks! By far the BEST KOA we've ever been to. Other reviews mentioned the train noise, but we were informed of it right upon check in and offered ear plugs (which we declined), but it wasn't even that loud and with our fans and AC, we never even heard it overnight. We have added this KOA to our list of RV parks to return to when we travel across country!
