It was fine for one night. Only complaint trains all night and blowing horns. Lady at desk did ask if we wanted ear plugs!!! I didn’t understand. I’ve noticed at the koa’s they group us one nighters together and not the greatest sites always because they’re near the entrance.

As my visit before, grounds and restrooms are clean, the campers are not too close together, and the people are super friendly �

Only thing we didn’t like was for awhile at night was helicopters flying overhead ��, trains didn’t bother us .

It was relaxing and we were able to extend it twice. I was recovering from a 6 day stay at the hospital with pneumonia and was so glad we were able to stay longer.

Very pleasant, from the time we called and talked to PJ to make reservation until we left. Campground clean and the restroom was clean. Very friendly staff

This place was like what I have come to expect from KOA's, a very nice place with good facilities. The staff was nice, and I have nothing negative to say about the KOA. The only negative that I can think of is that the campground is not too far from a railroad line, and the conductors seem to like to honk the horn when passing through a town. Not really a big deal, though.

Just an overnight stay while traveling but the staff was friendly and the grounds were clean and well maintained. Kids said the Zip line was awesome!

My 9 rating has a caveat. We have always loved staying at this KOA but this time we experienced a theft of one of our hubcaps. Perhaps it's time to employ security at night. For that reason I would recommend this KOA to my friends but make them aware that it is no longer the safe quiet KOA we used to stay at. The staff was wonderful however.

Very clean facilities. The staff were all very friendly and engaging. There were plenty of activities available. We also appreciated that the KOA was back far enough from the highway that there wasn't constant highway noise. There was a nearby train that could affect some people. We stayed in a cabin and travel with a box fan. The train noise we couldn't hear. It could affect tenters. RECOMMEND!

Lawrence KOA had trains very close to the campground. The trains appeared to go by twice an hour blowing its horn. My wife counted 7 trains before we went to bed and they started again at 4am

Everyone was so nice and helpful. Our grandchildren stayed with us and the playground with the zip line was a huge hit. Someone knocked a book off into the TV well of our RV and the staff happily loaned us their reacher for picking up trash in order to retrieve it. The pizza was great and we loved getting after dinner ice cream treats at the store.

We had a quick overnight stay. The staff were really helpful checking in. We had a back-in patio site which was located at the back of the campground. The whole campground was very clean and well maintained. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice park. Very clean. Liked the grass at the sites as I have white show dogs and could let them out of the trailer without having to put out a mat. There were also grassy areas to walk the dogs. Only thing I would recommend is to get the sticker weeds out of the grassy areas and keep those areas mowed.

This Koa was very clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. There was lots of activities for the kids .

Very nice, clean campgrounds. I stayed in one of the cabins, which was fantastic!! Cabin was very clean with most all of the things you would need, even a hair dryer and coffee pot with packs of coffee. My only small suggestions are a little more water coming from shower hand held sprayer and toilet had a little trouble flushing but neither were a "game stopper". Thank KOA folks!

Stayed at this location for a week and enjoyed the time there. The folks managing this location were very welcoming, helpful and friendly. The area is quiet mostly surrounded by fields. The amenities were great...used the laundry facility a couple of times. Had a pool and other activities for kids and families. If you like Pickleball, there are six courts less than 2 miles away at Lyons Park.

I had a fantastic experience at the campground. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the amenities were outstanding. The pool was well-maintained, and the pizza service was a nice touch. Plus, the entire campground was kept clean and tidy.

Beautiful view of valley. Easy check-in if coming in after hours. Have a microwave and refrigerator in cabins. Good value.

Pros: -Big Rig Friendly (40 ft 5th wheel) 50 amp with full hook ups - Two playgrounds - Frisbee golf baskets - kids zip line -nice clean bathrooms/showers -dog park - good Starlink service -Verizon coverage was decent Cons -the showers in the women's room were difficult to maintain temperature and would get really hot for three seconds and then back to normal - loud train nearby Great campground. Would stay again.

Had a great experience renting a small cabin traveling through on I-70. Very clean cabin, very convenient for I-70 travelers. Bathroom was spotless, entire staff was smiling and made you feel like family. Great location to downtown Lawrence for shopping and entertainment. 👍 Lawrence KOA does it right. Will visit again when traveling through.

I am staying in an R. V. At this place and I love the peace. And quiet and how beautiful it is over. Here it is a very nice place to go for KOA HOLIDAY RV PARK . I recommend if you're going through town. Stop here, stay overnight. They have all the amenities. It is a great place. I am from far out of town, so for me. This is comfort. Also, they're the certified propane fill ups . So if you need propane, they have it on site, they can fill your bottles before you depart. They also make homemade pizzas in their little kitchen, I would highly recommend.
