Very nice facility with easy access for our big rig towing. After all the extremely rough roads we were ready to relax so we ordered pizza and wings. Food was promptly delivered while still hot and it was delicious! Staff was very helpful and friendly.

The park is nice and well maintained. The staff were super welcoming and very nice. The pool and pool area were excellent. The check in/out times were very inconvenient and very unusual. The roads were more dirt than gravel, we got covered in dust. Our site was not level. The negatives would be more expected/tolerated at a lower price level. Overall we had a great time, thank you!

The campground is very clean and well maintained. The pool area was a delight, spotless and very relaxing. The site was level and long enough to stay hooked up for our overnight stay. Although there was some highway noise it was not an issue.

Just a one night stay but we were very impressed by this KOA. Very friendly staff. Did everything possible to make our stay comfortable. Campground is very clean and well taken care of. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice wooded sites, easy in and out, friendly staff. Incredibly clean bathrooms, great dog park, plenty of room to walk around too. Plenty of things for kids to do too. Sites are a bit close and on many of the sites you are door to door with strangers. But all in all, this is a great park that we would definitely recommend.

Won’t stay again. Big trump flag on the onsite private residence. WiFi was terrible.

Campground is very cramped. The bathrooms need some works. Huge cracks in the women’s side floor. Bigger toilet paper holders.

We had a great welcome by the staff and the site was just what we wanted. This KOA is our “go to” when we visit our children in Lawerence. The Pool looked inviting, the sites were level and well maintained as always, we met people camping across the country who were loving the experience. Great job!

The West Lawrence KOA was a very nice facility that seemed well kept as you would expect. The reason they don’t get 5 stars has nothing to do with things they can control. During my stay there was constant train noise all through the night. Train horns sounded no less than 5 times between 10pm and 6am. I understand KOA has no control over the trains but I won’t stay here again as a result.

Pleasant hosts and clean sites .. other than storm that rolled through and took out power fir a few hours .. adapted to generator use and slept well ..

WAY too noisy. Nice accommodation, but the trains and highway traffic were terrible day and night. The tiny note about train enthusiasts liking the occasional train was very misleading and understated to the point of dishonest.

Staff and camp were great but there's trains every night blowing whistles midnight or 1am. DONT PLAN ON QUIET. If we return one day, it won't be during 4th of July week. Neighbors outside of camp arent respective of travelers need for sleep.

Unfortunately we can not control the loud noise of the 4th of July festivities close by. Douglas County does not allow fireworks, However, you can still hear the noise. We do provide ear plugs for the trains. We hope you allow us another opportunity to host you as a guest.

The campgrounds and cabins were really clean. Soooo much to do with your kids. We loved the peaceful surroundings and other campers. Everyone was so polite. The staff, now let's talk about the staff, they were ALL so welcoming, and willing to explain anything and everything you may have questions about. We loved the experience and will be coming back!!!

Its a good campground, the showers could be warmer and the sites are a little close together. But not bad. I really don't get the noise complaints the trains are not loud the highway is constant but not bad. Just adjust your hearing aids.

We really enjoyed this RV park! The staff was so friendly! The grounds were very clean and pretty and we enjoyed a nice walk after a long days drive. We REALLY enjoyed the super fast WiFi that allowed us to stream a movie, something so rare at RV parks! By far the BEST KOA we've ever been to. Other reviews mentioned the train noise, but we were informed of it right upon check in and offered ear plugs (which we declined), but it wasn't even that loud and with our fans and AC, we never even heard it overnight. We have added this KOA to our list of RV parks to return to when we travel across country!
