I stayed in Lawerence for the American Royal in KC (didn’t want to deal with the noise of the parties etc) it was a nice easy drive, the cabin was clean when I got there and had a heater for how cold it got. The front desk people were super nice and informative. If in the area, would stay again.

Just wanted a practice run for our new camper. We are taking a big trip in a few weeks and wanted to work the bugs out close to home. Everything ran smoothly.

Convenient to I-70 but the bathroom was in desperate need of updating. There was mold around the bottom because the shower that I used did not drain properly. Frankly it was a bit creepy

We really enjoy this campground. Really clean. Really quite. The staff is so nice. We like to explore Lawrence a couple times of year. The KOA location is perfect for that.

This is a very nice and convenient park. We had a longer site #x and it worked for our motor coach and jeep. It is a little tight getting in and out of sites but doable. The manager and staff are incredibly nice! Close to KC.

Stayed 10 days while visiting my kids in leavenworth( it’s a 45 minute ride away but the closest koa?!) park was clean neat and had great staff. The only con was the dog park light( dawn to dusk) was out the whole time! Walking dogs after dark and cleaning up after them is hard in the dark!!! They said they were waiting on a light replacement???

Very disappointed in the curb appeal and the tightness of sites. We were in a grassy non-sharing site but could see straight into our neighbors window and probably have shaken hands had we removed our screens. Not one I could or would recommend, however, the staff that escorted us to our very claustrophobic site were very professional and kind. Our 5th wheel is 42ft. truck 21ft. - Won't be back

The staff was THE BEST in helpfulness and hospitality! Everything was clean and in good working order. The main thing that REALLY needs attention is more and better gravel on the sites and unpaved driveways.

The site we had should have been closed due to the recent rains leaving it a muddy mess and several inches of standing water at the bottom of our camper stairs. I would have asked for a different site had I not already unhooked and leveled the camper. The train noise wasn't an issue at all.

The only complaint is that our camp site was on a slope (uneven). The bathrooms were clean. The water pressure was great, and the water temperature was nice when showering.

The staff at the KOA Kansas City West/Lawrence was so stinkin’ nice!! Incredibly kind, incredibly helpful, just above and beyond. The campgrounds were nice and clean, too.

Had a nice stay! The cabin was clean as well as restrooms. Only problem is the showers changing area is a little too small. Everyone was friendly. Looking forward to next year already!

I cannot say enough about our stay at KCW/L KOA. My husband and I have traveled all over the country and internationally, and this place is exceptional! Susan, Calvin, and the rest of the staff were the most friendly and compassionate group of people we’ve ever encountered! The grounds were well kept, the bathrooms/showers were super clean, and it honestly felt like a home away! Would stay again

We had a car turn in front of us on our second day here and totaled our RV. It was 10 at night and Susan and her staff made sure we had a place to stay not only for that night but the duration of our trip. This was our very first RV trip and while it didn’t turn out like I thought, the entire staff at this place is unbelievably friendly, caring and professional. You will be well taken care of.

The staff was friendly, but as soon as I paid my balance, they asked if I wanted complimentary earplugs. I jokingly asked if this was like My Cousin Vinny. I was then told they run all day & night. The 1st night up until about 11PM, then the next morning, horns blasting at 4:15, 4:30, 4:45, etc. I was ready to leave, but ran the A/C units continuously with earplugs. Do not recommend this place.

This is a convenient park if you are traversing I 70. Also, if you are visiting the area it allows easy access to the nest town of Lawrence. Sites are fair with all gravel, but level and long enough for a big rig to remain hooked up to your toad. Great work campers (Kimberly & John) are very nice and helpful!

Everyone was very nice. Place was clean. You can go for a nice easy walk around the KOA the roads in the camp area are smooth and makes it easy for walking. Clean play ground for the kids and dogs.

We were very impressed with this KOA. It was very clean and well cared for and the attendants were very friendly and attentive to the customers. This is a place we'll be sure to return to again.

We are currently staying here, and couldn't be happier, the staff is very friendly and helpful, we've been in our rv full time for 2 years and have stayed at numerous campgrounds thru out the midwest and southwest, hands down this is prob our favorite, the grounds are so well kept, a big storm has came thru 2 dif times, the 1st with a tornado warning, they got everybody in shelter, then last night very high winds, thought the place would be a mess today, nope, spotless as if it never happened, you can tell the staff takes pride in thier work, definitely would stay here again.
