Great location, well-maintained in every way, nice lodging options with three levels of cabins, and a really cool gem 'mining' sluiceway - but with a bit of a noise problem. The highway and train tracks are close enough that one can be awaken by people racing, jake brakes, and train whistles. We'll come again but with earplugs!

Nice people working there. The road thru the park is pretty tight for larger rigs. VERY close to the active train tracks. If you are a light sleeper, I don’t think this park is for you. Nice dog park. Easy access to the park from I-29 and I-70. They made a point to say the don’t come around and pick up trash so you have to walk up to the dumpsters at the park entrance.

It was a one night stay on our trip home from Arizona to Missouri. This was a perfect place to night over. Easy in and easy out near the highway. Staff was very knowlegable and friendly.

We like the location of this KOA, and it has been improved since they were bought. However, for a KOA Holiday, I think they haven’t been improved enough. We stay in KOA’s all over the country and most Holidays have paved sites and no potholes in their graveled roads. Hopefully we will see this here soon.

Extremely clean and modern facilities. Very convenient to I-70. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Lot had plenty of room and was very level. Made for a great overnight stay.

Paying the extra money for the patio and outdoor furniture was the best money we ever spent. We had Easter Sunday at this KOA, and the holiday was wonderful thanks to the extra outdoor space for East Egg hunting and playing games. Also, the amenities here are excellent. Our sons enjoyed the extra green space, the Gaga Ball pit, and walking the beautiful property.

Great location. Friendly staff. Our friends were able to join us at a nearby site with very little notice. Our friends city water broke and the campground staff fixed it right away. Staff is definitely present on site. Clean park.

The site was partly muddy when we pulled in, & real muddy when it rained. The sites were very close together. Ok if you want that. $69.00 was by far the most expensive we have stayed including Branson. OKC. & Tulsa. The park was convenient for us going to Bonner Springs & Lawrence.

The property is easy on and off freeway. Camp site was level and easy pull through, But train horn several times through the night does not make for a good nights sleep.

Employees were very nice and helpful. I am sure it wasn't the busy time for them being everything closed at 5. If you are not camping with a friend it could be a little awkward with most of the pull through sites have you pulling in opposite directions so you are actually facing each other. Over all not a bad place at all.

Only stayed one night on the off-season So not fair for me To rate everything This campground has to offer. I can say the dog park was excellent. The showers However, were very small and not very private. Between the large gaps in the doors, the clear shower curtin and the mirror right across the way it felt a little uncomfortable. We did experience one of the scariest and exciting storms ever.

Sites are very tight and overly exaggerated in length. Travel lanes are narrow. Other campers vehicles protrude into travel lanes. Due to extended stay campers numerous sites appeared unkempt. Price of stay was extremely inflated incomparison to other KOA which have been better maintained. Will not return or recommend.

Staff helpful and friendly, road condition getting worse each time we stay, dust is terrible, addition layer of gravel would help with dust. The power on the roads covers everything when class a drives past.

Everyone was really helpful. The only downside was I was disappointed with the size of the sites. We were pretty much stacked on top of each other with little or no room to camp outside. We had a large tree next to us so I couldn't even put my awning out. Our slides and the slides from the camper next to us were very close to each other.

Its a good campground, the showers could be warmer and the sites are a little close together. But not bad. I really don't get the noise complaints the trains are not loud the highway is constant but not bad. Just adjust your hearing aids.

We really enjoyed this RV park! The staff was so friendly! The grounds were very clean and pretty and we enjoyed a nice walk after a long days drive. We REALLY enjoyed the super fast WiFi that allowed us to stream a movie, something so rare at RV parks! By far the BEST KOA we've ever been to. Other reviews mentioned the train noise, but we were informed of it right upon check in and offered ear plugs (which we declined), but it wasn't even that loud and with our fans and AC, we never even heard it overnight. We have added this KOA to our list of RV parks to return to when we travel across country!
