Helpful hosts, but a little standoffish and aloof, good customer service, nice K9 dog park, gravel sites not well-maintained. Location near freeway and train, but lots of traffic to get there.

Tammy and Tom were very gracious hosts. So upbeat and attentive. The facility was exceptionally clean and convenient to shopping. The grounds were well maintained. We would stay here again.

WE ARRIVED AFTER THE OFFICE WAS CLOSED & FOUND OUR PAPERWORK WHERE WE WERE TOLD IT WOULD BE & GOT OURSELF SETTLED IN WITHOUT ANY PROBLEM, COMING TO AN AREA WE WERE NOT FAMILIAR WITH, IT WAS EASY TO FIND.

We stayed 1 night, clean, quiet, but arriving just after 5. Office closed; So , no personal interaction. OK, always nice to say hi and ask a few local questions.

Ok campground for a one night stay. Sites are small and they filled ones all in a group with other large areas open. Trains come by very frequently. Did not use any other facilities.

This is BY FAR the worst KOA that we have stayed in. They consider themselves a “Holliday” KOA. Perhaps many years ago. We paid for full hookups and received a sight with no cable and a water source that was broken. Tried to contact the proprietors, had to leave message. To be returned the next day. They never returned the call. The property was simply awful. A “Holiday” KOA?

Good stopover place. Clean and easy to get to. Don’t pass up the free ear plugs, though. The trains go allllllll night. That’s the only down side to this park.

Very peaceful and everything was ready when I checked in. The people there were excellent. The best showers that I have seen in a campground.

We stayed over night with our two dogs. It was easy to pull through our site and then get everything hooked up. The dog park was well kept and our dogs loved it. On the way out I visited the restrooms and found them to be very clean both the toilets and the showers. The camp store had basic necessities as well as cute items for your RV. It is a great place to stay.

We were gonna stay at Oak Grove which was closer for us but, went here because of the zip line. Come to find out they said the zip line is seasonal. How can playground equipment be seasonal? It’s not like it’s the dead of winter either. It’s Spring for crying out loud! My kids were so disappointed! Bring the zip line out if there is no threat of ice!

I had a confirmed reservation and paid for it but when I arrived my paperwork was in the after hours box but they did not give me a key. Their contact number would not go through - no one on site. I was unable to talk to any person either at the campground or corporately. No words to describe my feelings. Left them a message and they never even called me back the next day, no apology, nothing.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Quick check-in. Great site on the end of a row, so we had a picnic table and chairs and some grass, plus a short walk to the doggie park. Fairly quiet except for an occasional train adding to the ambiance! "It's all part of the experience!" Clark W. Griswold

The staff was amazing at check-in and this KOA is nicer than I had expected. The dog park was nice for our two German Shepherds, but it had rained recently so there was MUD!!! Please, please, please invest in artificial turf for the dog park. Makes cleanup easier and then there would be NO MUD. Mud's just not that much fun (for dog parents, anyway) while traveling.

There was no heat in our cabin making the night very cold. It would be nice to have extra blankets or a heater of some sort. Also, there use to be a book that was in the room about services and things, but it was gone. I love my stays at the cabin and KT12 is my absolute favorite �ϋ�

This was a GREAT KOA! The staff working were helpful and extremely nice, the campground space was well kept and quiet. By far some of the nicest showers we have seen. Will definitely keep this in our favorites.

It was only an overnight stop on our way to the grandkids. But everyone there was super helpful and took the time to talk to us. That’s why we enjoy staying at KOA’s, friendly folks. Park was well kept and the shower area was immaculate. Great job everyone!

Very good hosts. We received text messages to Leroy us informed of weather conditions on the road. They responded quickly to any queries. They had our campsite information in the box addressed to us and easily locate. They even mark the campsite map with a marker to make locating our spot easier. All much appreciated!

The camp was well maintained and the staff was helpful with all our needs. Unfortunately there is nearly constant train noise.

Such nice people! Great campground with things to do, lots of open space for kids to run around, and laundry room was good with dryers that are quick to dry.

We were traveling home to Colorado from TN after seeing our Grandchildren. This campground was just off the highway. Our space was a nice pull through.

Enjoyed the whimsical outdoor garden decor and of the the very clean bathhouse/laundry. Nancy was very accommodating. Would definitely stay again, especially later in the season when all the flowers are blooming. We made this a one night stop over traveling back to North Carolina.

POSITIVE: Employee Chris is the best thing about this campground! VERY helpful! That said, the campground is situated in a very lovely country setting, HOWEVER… they barely disclose the high noise pollution from the incessant trains. Their website creatively describes the train whistles like something reminiscent of a sweet bygone era…IT IS NOT! It's bad enough that when you check in, the staff offers you ear plugs!!! You won't hear it night if you run your AC.

What a great place! Stayed on a cabin and it was clean, neatly decorated, had all the kitchen supplies and linens we needed and was large enough for 4 adults and an infant. It was conveniently located to main attractions in Lawrence. I would definitely stay there again.

Stayed for one night. The RV park is clean & well maintained. Friendly & helpful staff. Tons of mature trees and an over sized K9 Paw Pen. Full hook- ups available. Internet speed was awesome. We stayed in the back of the park so the train noise was no problem. We would definitely stay here again.
