One of the best locations in New England. Accommodated my family and over 30 guests for a birthday party and were extremely helpful and kind with the needs of our group. Will continue to go every year!

Michelle & David are super kind & welcoming hosts. The campground is beautiful, clean, spacious, has lovely paths to walk around the grounds & lakes. You’ll see lots of stars at night since it’s not completely forested, although there are lots of trees all around the property- full of birds and other wildlife. It’s not far from the state park & National Wildlife Refuge. Thanks Michelle & Dav

bathroom showers were very small with no shelves in change area. Dog park was hilariously small. more like a dog pen.

Oh no - I am so sorry you did not enjoy your 1 night stay with us. We do realize the showers are on the small size but only way to fix is a new bathhouse which is more than this small campground can afford. We have new dog park fencing being installed soon and it will be larger. Stay happy camping

The tent sites were enjoyable and clean. The entire campground felt very clean and we enjoyed our stay. Our kids definitely enjoyed their stay and cannot wait to return!

We came in late and left early never met the staff but it was easy to find our camp site and the campground was beautiful we had a huge grassy area to set up wish we lived closer we would stay here often

The place was beautiful! It was the second time I have stayed at this KOA and it did not disappoint! Staff was so nice and brought us right to our campsite and delivered our firewood, which was more than enough for two days and a great value for the price we paid! I will most certainly be back again!

Very nice campground. Alot of amenities for kids. Clean Restrooms. Nice, we'll kept tent sites with picnic tables with a roof, water, electricity and well kept, level lawn. Keeping up with the KOA standards, it's aGreat place to stay.

We slept one night at the campsite. A very clean place, grassy everywhere with a super nice little trail and a cute dog park. Good quality/price ratio. We recommend it!

Nice place, good sight, super clean bathrooms...but head height of structure over picnic table was too low, we whacked our heads more than once.

Staff were very friendly and accomodating with our situation when we were having RV trouble and needed a place to stay for the weekend. Park is clean and picturesque with all the walking trails.

My stay at the Houlton campground was great, staff was more than helpful with check in and getting a site that was quiet and secluded. Staff is important, but I also rate a campground on how clean the showers and bathrooms are cleaned, it was obvious that the staff took the time to keep the bathrooms / showers and laundry room very clean, it was appreciated. I will camp at Houlton again.

Very friendly environment. The owner is really nice & kind. She let us to stay in the glamping when it was raining hard. Actually, we reached there very late at night so. Though we had reservations for ��� campsite. Definitely recommend for our family & friends. We are so happy to stay there ! Hope to see you angain! August 2024�.

This is a beautiful property with wonderful owners who really care about your stay. We sadly had a family emergency and had to leave 2 days early. They insisted on refunding the 2 nights, without me ever asking. The only negative for us was the close proximity to the main road. If you Tent, you will hear US1 all night long. inside a camper, probably you wouldn't hear it.

Oh my, a 4 and 7 - that makes me very sad. Yes, we are just off Route 1 and tenters can hear the road noise. But, what most campers like is the easy access off the main road - very convenient. I'm so sorry you didn't enjoy your stay and I send my prayers and condolences to you and your family.

Hosts were very kind. They had a site to offer despite the app stating there was no availability. The campground grounds were great with large sites and many spaces for children to keep busy. However, we were there on a busy weekend and kids were everywhere with little parental supervision. The family behind us was very noisy at all hours of the day and night. Bathrooms could use some love.

Staff and owner are super friendly and accommodating. We were offered a better spot upon arrival. Camping sites are clean and well maintained. Family friendly with lots of activities for kids. Camp store is well stocked. Convenient location. Bathrooms are clean, but in need of an upgrade. Could use an outdoor kitchen sink. Would stay there again.

The Houlton Canadian Border KOA is truly one of the best campgrounds we have ever stayed at. The entire property is exceptionally well maintained, with immaculate grounds and a peaceful atmosphere that makes it easy to relax and enjoy nature. The staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. Every detail of the campground reflects the care and pride they take in maintaining it. One of my favorite features was the beautiful nature trails, which provide a wonderful opportunity for quiet walks and wildlife viewing. The ponds are picturesque, and guests can even enjoy using the kayaks, adding to the campground's unique charm. What impressed me most was how quiet and serene the campground is. Whether you're looking for a restful overnight stop or an extended stay, this KOA offers a perfect combination of comfort, beauty, and relaxation. I highly recommend the Houlton Canadian Border KOA and will definitely stay here again. It is an absolute gem and a wonderful place to unwind and enjoy the outdoors.
