The best memories are made camping.
We believe that camping brings family together and when you are camping, we are all family! We started out tenting when we were high school sweethearts and continued when we had our first son. Funny story...we were tenting in Bar Harbor and in the middle of the night something had gotten into the screen room of our tent. We thought it was a bear and that was pretty scary. We were hoping our new little one would stay sleeping and not make a peep - luckily he did. We took our shoelaces and tied the zipper together, so whatever was out there couldn't get into our room. Well, when morning arrived and we ventured out, we realized it was raccoons that had invaded our tent and had strewn all of our food around the campsite. LOL
We upgraded from a tent to a pop-up, then on to an older motor home that David's parents gave to us, then on to a fifth wheel and enjoyed every minute of it. The boys even enjoyed camping in our own yard. So many memories that will last a lifetime. We hope to bring amazing memories to your family as well.
That doesn't mean this area has to always be empty. When you start reviewing camping options, your history will display here to help compare sites and find the best stay. You will be able to share your stay information with friends or family and save it for a later time if you have a KOA Account.
