Really appreciated the time the gal at reception took with me to sort out my points ‘issues’!!when I checked in....patient and friendly - I felt like “I mattered”…thank you. Very well kept camp ..beautiful grounds ..super clean washrooms ..lots of hot water. Yes - return anytime I’m back this way. Beverley / Canadian.

What an awesome campground! We have stayed at KOA campgrounds all over the US and this is one of the nicest. The owners are friendly and accommodating. The bathrooms and laundry are spotless. Each spacious campsite is on well manicured lawn. There are nice ponds stocked with trout and a great mowed hiking trail. It is quiet and peaceful, yet close to any stores you may want. Such a great place!

The very sweet lady who welcomed me was exactly what I needed! She was wonderful and very helpful. The campground was wonderful, too. I got a nice shower, too. The only thing I might suggest is that the timer in the ladies' restroom last longer: It went out when I was covered with soap! I was lucky: It was not quite dark yet! This is a great campground! It had all I needed and wanted.

You are the sweetest!! Yes, we do need to fix the timer in the bathrooms...nothing worse then being covered in soap/shampoo and the lights go out on you. We hope to see you again. Safe travels and Happy Camping!

We enjoyed our 8 nite stay. The large dog park was especially nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

This was the second time I visited here. Just like the previous visit, I was greeted by the sweet, friendly lady. I stayed in this very excellent campground. I was very happy!

We love our visits to KOA Journey Houlton!! Nice big, well kept campsites a plus but the people keep us coming back!! The host/hostess are friendly and accomodating. Campground is close to all amenities. Too cold for the pool this week but next time...

Nicest KOA I have visited. Awesome owners who made us feel at home. Super glamorous new glamping tents. Cross the Canadian border and be in bed inside 15 minutes.

Michelle and David are the perfect hosts, never an issue, always very friendly, welcoming and always checking in. Great place to stay and will definitely be back again and again.

THE OWNERS ARE EXTREMELY FRIENDLY AND THE CAMPGROUND IS VERY WELL MAINTAINED I HOPE THAT CORPORATE (COP) KOA WOULD LEARN FROM OWNERS LIKE THESE ON HOW TO TREAT CAMPERS SINCE I THINK COP KOA ONLY CARES ABOUT MONEY AND ONLY TAKES CARE OF THE COP OWNED PROPERTIES BUT THESE OWNERS CHANGED MY MIND ABOUT KOA CAMPGROUNDS OWNED BY WIFE HUSBAND TEAMS WE WISH MICHELLE AND DAVID GOOD LUCK IN THE FUTURE

We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Staff was welcoming and very nice. The turkey dinner on Saturday was a nice bonus. Beautiful area pet friendly and we loved all the walking trails! We will defintely be back!

Grounds are beautiful and nice! Staff is friendly! Restrooms, bathrooms and laundry dirty and cold and not well kept! Almost no water coming thru the shower head and no water pressure ! Really disappointed with that! Not sure if we would choose KOA again or not!

Oh no, I am so sorry you about the bathhouse. We do not have heat in the bathhouse so this time of year it will definitely be cold. I wish you would have let me know about the low water pressure and dirty rest room while you where here so we could of seen what was going on and hopefully fixed it.

Very pleasant weekend. Sites are beautiful and very well manicured. Enjoyed the walking trails which are also maintained nicely. Owners are very pleasant and helpful. We plan on another visit next summer!

Clean, quiet, friendly. We have lots of family in the area, and this KOA is perfect for "base camp" when we make the rounds. We will definitely stay again!

I wish I could have spent more time in the area. I loved the nature walk area. I like to take a morning or evening walk. The manager was super nice and accommodating when my wife asked for a different space. We were there at the beginning of the off season so there were no crowds. I’d go back in a minute.

This is what a campground should be like, but rarely is! Came into this spot to let the winds of Fiona blow past and we’re so glad we did! The spot we had was beautiful, bigger than any site we’ve ever been to! The layout of the grounds is ideal. The facilities immaculate. Great trails and green space. The owners are truly “hosts” and we certainly felt like “guests”! near border, store

We stayed for 2 nights. Lovely park. Roomy sites on grass. Michelle who greeted us was very sweet. They had some nest walking trails for walking our dogs.

Beautiful quiet grassy sites. We have a 45’ and a toad. Had a choice of 30 or 50 amp pull through which could easily accommodate us. We chose the 50… site was a bit more spacious. Nice open well groomed area to take a 15 minute walk through the woods.

Stayed 1 night in late September on our way back from Canada. Campground was very nice and clean including restrooms . Owner was very nice. Great place to camp

The best campground I have stayed in. The owners are very personable and all around good people. Any issue I had they were willing to help fix itno questions asked. It is a beautiful area with a nice trail behind the campground. You might see a moose or two. Definitely stay here and say Hi to Michelle and David for me. Eddie Garlock
