Was a wonderful stay granddaughter had a blast even if it rained every night was little chilly in the morning but we will definitely come back up

Pleasant stay. Hot water ran out midshower, invigorating! Turned off by Trump flag (any political flags, this one happened to be Trump). Some of us vacation to get away from that crap. KOA in Starke FL has policy: it’s private land no political signs, flags period!. it can be done.

Our hot water is on demand, you should not have run out. Nobody likes a cold shower. We would have had the flag taken down had we of known it was up. We are running from place to place and tend to not notice those kinds of things. Had we known we would have had them take it down. I apologize

great. clean and neat. very friendly staff, only one thing the showers are very small. but great campground

NEVER disappoints! We absolutely love it here. Owners are amazing, welcoming and go above and beyond. Campground is spotless and environment is always so friendly and fun. Our favorite place to be!

This is a great place to stay and very kid friendly. The owners are some of the nicest people I've ever met at a campground. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Very disappointing. Run down. Poorly maintained. Worst KOA we’ve stayed in all year.

You just broke my heart. Was there anything in particular that was disappointing? We work hard keeping our campground beautiful. If you were not satisfied we would have given you the KOA 1 hour Guarantee refund and let you find a different place to stay. Maybe you confused us with another KOA?

What started as a local camping trip to see how our dog would do, quickly turned into us planning next year and making this our new family tradition. What a GEM of a place right under our noses here in Houlton! From check in through check out the staff and owners were welcoming, accommodating and always had a smile! From the mouth of our 11 yr old. "They have EVERYTHING! Best campground ever!"

This park is excellent! Clean, tidy, quiet. The owners were very accommodating to our special requests. Enjoyed talking with them for a bit after dinner. We have already recommended this park to our other RVing friends.

The staff were great with escort to site. The site was clean and grass cut along with the rest of park. If we travelling that way again we would book there

Owners were extremely helpful. Facility was clean and spacious. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars was because there was no cable BUT would go back again

We are just a small park and to have cable brought in it would be too expensive. Streaming is the way to go nowadays. Hope your awning is back up and working. Stay safe and happy camping!

One of the best KOA’s we’ve stayed at. The owners are very welcoming and the campground is immaculate. Will definitely stay here again!

Enjoyed our stay immensely. We were on a large site in a good location. Unfortunately, the weather did not live up to our expectations so use of swimming pool did not happen! � However, the garbage area could be better. Having a large dumpster that has a closed lid at 6 or more feet high, encouraged the dumping of garbage on the ground. Seating in the laundry area would be appreciated.

On both sides of the dumpster are sliding side doors for campers to use. you aren't the only one who has thought you had to use the top. I can't reach that either. LOL I'm thinking we may need a sign up to let our campers know. There should be two folding chairs in the laundry room.

Houlton/Canadian border KOA was my favorite KOA thus far!! Owners are amazing!! Staff is amazing!! The campground was pristine!! Everyone we met was so kind & caring. Well done KOA!

Very convenient for anyone travelling to or from Canada. When we arrived the site were initially placed on had a number of vehicles parked on it. We requested a different site and the owner accommodated us very quickly. Wonderful trails around the property; great for walking our dogs. Would recommend for anyone travelling in the area.

We were only there 2 separate nights, but we really like this campground! As soon as we walked in the office, we felt at home. Thanks for a great stop on our vacation!!!!!

KOA is by far the cleanest nicest place . David and Michelle go above and beyond . My grandkids love it there and there is so much to do. By far my favorite and its only 2 miles away :)

Our coach was having engine troubles so we called and was pleased to get a site. Coach was at Freightliner for the day so we decided to stay for 2 nights. Good sized sites and friendly people to guide you in. Gladly our engine troubles were solved and on our way but will consider this park again if travelling through.

Absolutely fantastic!! Many new additions, swimming pool, peddle carts for children Nice new office / store and the tree branches trimmed to eliminate scratches on your campers. The owners and employees are very helpful and courteous . I will be coming back for many years. Thank you.

We had a last minute stay due to moving because of Hurricane Lee. We chose Journey KOA in Houlton Maine due to the proximity to the Canadian border crossing (2 miles). Boy was this a GREAT decision! The employees were so accommodating. They gave us the best site to be protected from the storm and that wasn't too hard to navigate in and out of. They kept us informed of weather and utilities interruptions. They also had some great amenities that we were able to use. We highly recommend this particular Koa campground!

We can't say enough about Michele and how accommodating and gracious she was. We called last minute trying to escape Hurricane Lee. We were staying in Prince Edward Island and knew we needed to seek an area of less wind. When I say “we” I am referring to three large fifth wheel trailers. Michele said she could accommodate us but two of the three sites only had 30 amp service. When we arrived, a very large class A got stuck almost to its frame. Michele cautioned us about how wet the sites were due to the recent heavy rains and certain more on the way. All of the sites are grass. She took us out on the golf cart to survey the situation. We agreed on the three sites that were harder and and parked in a fashion to keep our trucks on harder surfaces. One of the site had a bad electric pole so another site had to be secured, Michele credited one nite for the troubles. It is a very nice campground with spacious sites and extremely clean facilities. Please note that there is no cable and “air” TV connection is none existent. A camper using Dish satellite said his worked great. The wi-fi was very strong so we were able to stream Thursday night football.
