We have stayed at this campground many times, and it has become one of our favorites. It is extremely convenient if you are crossing the border into Canada, with large pull through sites. The owners are friendly and accommodating, and have made tremendous improvements to the campground. We highly recommend this campground! You won’t be disappointed.

We called last minute (the day before traveling) and they were very helpful and courteous. Two other couples were traveling with us with their rigs. The campground was very clean and they escorted us to our sight We would most definitely stay with them again! We have stayed at a lot of KOA campgrounds in the last 3 years and would highly recommend them.

This was just an overnight stop on our way traveling home from Nova Scotia. It was perfect for what we needed. The pull through sites were long and level, so no disconnecting of the tow vehicle needed. The owners were extremely friendly, stopping by our site in the evening just to chat was such a personal touch. The campground was clean and quiet. I would definitely recommend.

This is the most beautiful Koa that we have visited The park staff was warm and friendly. The grounds were impeccable. If you are in the area or want a get away. This is your park!!!

the campsites turn to mud when it rains, the seasonal campers dominate the campground, and the maintenance staff mowed the grass next to a baby in a bassinet

I am so sorry you had a bad experience at our campground. This makes me very sad. We strive for happy campers. My husband was the one mowing. He would never mow close to a baby. He had a great conversation with them. We are working on upgrading pads for the campers. Stay safe and happy camping!

Our stay was great. The campground is well kept, very clean. The owner helped us with our electric hookup as there was a mixup with our neighbors, he was very quick to notice. Thank you! The only concern we had was that a neighbor a couple of campers down from us had a very nice dog, but the dog was terribly neglected and barked non-stop. We felt very bad for the dog. Thank you, for a great stay!

Oh no - I wish I would have known about the dog barking. I definitely would have addressed it with them. I am so sorry you had to listen to it and terribly sorry for the little pup who just wanted someone to be there with him. I am an animal lover-hate to see them lonely. We hope to see you again!

Very well kept campground, owners were very friendly. Campsite was fantastic, haven’t set up on grass in ages, but it was a fantastic experience!

Staff and owner are super friendly and accommodating. We were offered a better spot upon arrival. Camping sites are clean and well maintained. Family friendly with lots of activities for kids. Camp store is well stocked. Convenient location. Bathrooms are clean, but in need of an upgrade. Could use an outdoor kitchen sink. Would stay there again.

The owners and staff are very friendly and want to make sure all needs are met. The grounds are meticulously kept. Even though my husband and I didn’t use the poool , it looked clean and was full of people having a wonderful time. I didn’t use the shower or laundry but I did take a peek at both and they were clean. We stayed in the premier spot and it was beautiful.

Beautiful campground! We stayed overnight on our way to Nova Scotia. The campground is well maintained and spacious. The host Michelle was very friendly. We will definitely be back for a longer stay!!!!

I find the KOA at Houlton to be an outstanding place to stop before heading to Canada. We have been stopping here for years. The staff is very kind and friendly and willing to help with any problems that may arrive. We will be back.

We were very pleased with Houlton KOA. Sites were large, clean and well set up. Those operating the facility were helpful and pleasant. It is also close to stores, gas and all you would need. We would absolutely recommend anyone to stay here if you are in the area. Easy access to major highways.

Very nice nature trails. Good communication from staff. Nice setting. A little strange how rigs are parked with side doors facing each other ... lessens privacy

This was our third stay at Houlton/Canadian Border KOA and for a Journey location they offer above and beyond. They have some new sites with patio, BBQ, furniture.....amazing. Great owners!!!

The campground was clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly, polite and helpful. Our site was long, wide, shady and grassy - real nice. We stayed one night in a tear drop trailer.

The park is clean and the sites provide ample room for a big rig. Michelle knew we were coming in a large unit and notified us in advance of the best way to enter the park, met us and guided us to our site and was very welcoming.
