Check in begins at 12:00 pm for RV sites and tent sites. Check-in for cabins begins at 2:00 pm. Check-out is at 11:00am for all sites. From May-September we do not allow late check outs on cabins after 12pm. During the shoulder season or off season, if a late check-out is needed for a cabin there is a 10.00 late fee per hour. Late check outs for tents and RV sites depends on incoming reservations and there is a charge per hour after 12pm. The charges after 12pm is 5.00 per hour, after 3:00pm we automatically charge for another night's stay.
We do not allow extra vehicles parked in open sites due to incoming reservations.We also do not allow extra or guest vehicles parked in the main rows due to traffic and the fire lanes. Please park extra vehicles in guest parking located on the east side of our main building or in front of the main building. This is to prevent any accidents, damages, or to prevent any conflicts with incoming guests. There is no charge for visiting guests.
Due to the limited amount of parking, we are only able to accommodate for parking on a first come first serve basis. Extra trailer parking is limited based on the site you reserve. Please do not bring extra large boats, large moving trucks, and extra trailers that would put your overall length over the site length. You can call and check if there is room if need be. We do not have dry RV storage or weekly RV storage at our location.
At our KOA, the hours change from season to season. In our main season from May through September our office and store is open from 7:30 am-9:00 pm. In the fall and spring, our hours fluctuate from 8:00am- 8:00pm or 9:00am-7:00pm. In the off season, November through February, our hours are limited to 9:00am-12:00pm and 2:00pm-6:00pm. Please note that we may be closed or the hours can be shortened for major holidays such as Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve, and New Year's.
Our internet is provided free of charge. Please get a coupon from the office for the duration of your stay and log onto KOA Grand Junction.
No aggressive dogs. Please pick up after your pets and keep them on a leash at all times unless they are located in the dog runs. Sorry, no Pit Bulls or Rottweiler or mixes of these breeds. Please do not let your pet use another camper's site as the dog run. If you do please clean up after your pet and dispose of the waste immediately. . There is a $5.00 per dog charge in the cabins only. We only allow up to 2 dogs in the cabin, no exceptions. No other type of pets is allowed in the cabins including cats. Dogs are not allowed to stay in the cabins without their owner present.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover Cards. Cash is accepted for RV sites and tent sites only. Cabin guests are required to use a card for registration. We do not accept cash cards, checks, money orders, or business checks.
Seal your sewer connection to control odors. Treat your neighbors as you want to be treated.
There are multiple trash and recycling locations in our KOA. The main trash and recycling location is near the main building between the play ground and propane tank. The other trash location is in the back of the park near the dog runs. Please look on the campground map for the specific locations.
One vehicle per site, all vehicles must be parked out of the roadway. Vehicles parked in the roadways or open sites will be towed.
Your guests must check-in at the office and you must accompany them at all times. There is an extra charge per person to use the facilities and amenities. Due to the high volume of registered guests from May through September, we will limit the amount of extra people using the amenities.
Our swimming pool is open from Memorial Day Weekend until Labor Day Weekend only. The pool hours are 10:00am-8:30pm MST. Please note for the safety of our guests, the pool will close if any thunder or lightning may occur.
We take pride in our family park, so maintenance and up keep is a priority in our KOA. We do water regularly in the early hours of the morning due to being in the high desert terrain. Please do not put any rugs or mats on the grass and remove any items you do not want to get wet.
Tents are permitted in tents sites only. Tents are not allowed on RV sites. If staying on a tent site for multiple days, we will let you know when we are watering your site. Watering your site is required for maintenance and it may require you to move your items off the grass. Reservations more than 4 nights will stay in the soft wood-chipped tent pads.
