The Mesa County Fairgrounds is home to the shows and races of the western side of the state of Colorado. Almost every weekend, the fairgrounds exhibit horse shows, classes, rodeos, and barrel races. The fairgrounds and our campground share a gate, where you can walk right over and be entertained by amateur and professionals alike.
Come enjoy locally grown fresh fruits and veggies on Main Street in our Historical Downtown Grand Junction. You'll be able to indulge in various vendors, artists, restaurants, food trucks, and live music. Summer has never been more delicious!

The Mesa County Fair is an annual celebration of the county, its residents, community and history. The Fair creates an environment that promotes the diversity of the area and features family oriented entertainment, educational opportunities and is a showcase of local products and services. It's Colorado's barbeque competition! At this event you have the opportunity to explore BBQ Colorado style. Taste test hundreds of different brisket, chicken, ribs, and beef from all the most popular spots in Colorado. Sip on a nice pale ale during the perfect temperatures of September while listening to a variety of music from live bands. Make sure you get your tickets ahead of time! The BBQ runs out fast. For the last two decades, Colorado Mountain Winefest has been the premier Colorado wine celebration in the state, bringing dozens of local wineries to celebrate our award-winning wines and growing industry.With 50 Colorado wineries in attendance and a few thousand close friends to share unlimited sips, it's the kind of perfect day that makes everyone wish they lived here. The four day long event in Riverbend Park features live entertainment, unlimited wine samples, a commemorative tasting glass, wine tote and the chance to buy wine directly from the winemakers.
Colorado National Monument is home to the Tour of the Moon grand cycling classic. The Tour of the Moon takes place during the first part of October where awesome views is an understatement. With 23 miles of road and an elevation change from 4,700 to 7,000, it's hard to miss this race of a lifetime.
