We have been coming twice a year for several years and always highly recommended this campground to our friends. However this year both visits have been disappointing. We missed the breakfasts of the past in the lodge. The nightly rate would be more acceptable if there was better WIFI and cable TV. Some employees were very friendly but a few were rather abrupt in their interactions with campers

Constant reminders about up charges were a little over the top when KOA is priced higher than other camp grounds.

Always a wonderful time. Halloween weekends are fun seeing the kids dressed up and passing out candy to them.

I did have a few issues with my stay that were troubling; I have stayed during the Halloween weekend for close to 30 years. I was disapointed in the change in check in/check out. I thing that for the money you are charging, requiring everyone to be out by 1100 is not good. I realize that you moved check in to 1PM, but not everyone is able to take the day off in order top take advantage of this.

We stay here several times a year. It has all the pluses and just a few miles from town and the battlefield.

We have stayed for Halloween weekends several times. This year it was quiet, our daughter was yelled at for riding her bike at 7pm, the activities were not as good as previous years, the store closed early, rates keep going up. We probably won't come again.

We come every year, we love Gettysburg KOA. We used site J with the new patio. It was a nice structure but we didn't utilize it much. We didn't want to be walking up and down for our meals and it wasn't close to the fire pit.

We camp there every couple years as a family to bicycle the battlefields. This KOA is our absolute favorite! The staff is so accommodating and efficient. The place is so clean, and the natural boundaries between campsites lets you have the privacy you want. We tent camp as well as tow our camper, and both have been great experiences. Highly recommend!

Initial reception was curt, not that welcoming. Other staff were great and quite helpful. Shower was good in AM. The men’s toilets were clogged. Site was level, but a challenge to back into. Staff helped. Park ambience was fine and comfortable, what a good campground should be.

Good location, only 4-5 miles from the main battlefield area, however, the campsite is within an area where early skirmishes took place. There is no CATV, but excellent WIFI, so Roku or other internet services are available.

Great weather for our annual trip to gettysburg. Our campsite,43, was awesome. Love the nature trail. This is still our favorite campground after years of camping.

I love the Gettysburg KOA and all of the staff/activities. I'm still adjusting to some of the changes implemented by the new management, but to be fair, I don't do well with change. I miss the ability to connect to cable and it seems a KOA should have it. BUT, The lack of cable would not ever deter me from coming there. Overall, you get an A+ in my book and I'm already excited for next year!!

We will be back next year but won't be decorating a lot. The same person wins every time. There is also no cable now and we had to it an antenna. The Internet is very slow if you get it at all

We like the Halloween stay better when there was not a parade and the kids wandered on their own. And we miss the cable tv.

We’ve been at the KOA for 20 years and have always had a great time. This year the campground was a little different, not with Halloween but just the general cleaniness of the bathrooms, cable was taken out at the campsites also. Rebooked for next year, staff was still friendly and listened to my concerns.

Love the glamping tent sites. They are so clean and very comfortable. The only thing that would make it better would be another small bath house close to the 2 glamping tents.

Our family has been going to this KOA for 25 years so we have seen the changes. It seems like the prices keep going up yet the amenities seem to be declining. I worry that the next generation will not be able to afford it! A wonderful haunted house used to be provided, breakfast was offered etc and now those amenities are gone. Hotels are about the same cost and they provide sheets and towels!

Cable tv removed. Air tv is hard to receive at this address.The free wifi was about useless when park is 1/2 full. Verizon towers struggle. Starlink really isn't an option as it is a deeply wood campground I would suggest a mult cell tower kind. Check in is now 1pm but check out is 11 am for all sites. Grounds are unique with all the boulders and trees. Staff was kind and helpful

Wonderful time as always however we did not like the parade style trick or treating. The regular trick or treating in the past is MUCH better. We couldn’t enjoy the costumes and speak with the families because it was rushed in a single file manner.

Love the rocks in the sites. Guy that helps you back in was great and very experienced. Halloween was a disappointment, they we’re controlling this year and made anyone that wanted to participate all walk in a blob together. This made the kids disenfranchise. They weren’t allowed the time to walk up to campers, admire their site, and say trick or treat at their own pace because of the line.

Really nice campground. Really nice staff, they're working through some upgrades to the sites which is great to see. Everyone is really nice and hard working, though they seemed a little understaffed. Grounds are clean and nice, new equipment here and there though the main office building could use a refresh. Depending on where you are you might have a long walk to the office or playground. Really convenient place for visiting the battlegrounds. Plus they are far enough off the main road you won't hear any street traffic.

This is the best campground near Gettysburg, very clean with a great staff. Clean pet playground, roomy rv sites, beautiful and wooded area with a fantastic nature trail. Visit the Land of Little Horses while you are there, it is only 2 minutes away!
