Meet Your Hosts

Make your reservations online now! We would love to have you stay with us this year!

The Bergeron Family has been hosting camping families at the Gettysburg/Battlefield KOA since 1991. Before coming to Gettysburg, they spent their lives in Southern New Hampshire. Linda and Emile are finally enjoying their retirement in Pennsylvania. Their son, John, and his wife, Lorelle, are now hosting the camping families here at the Gettysburg/Battlefield KOA. But the real boss is John and Lorelle's daughter, Simone. If you stay at this KOA long enough, you're sure to see her working in the office. The Bergerons have taken their diamond-in-the-rough campground and turned it into one of the gems in the KOA Kampground system. They were recognized in 2003 as the Franchisee of the Year among more than 480 KOA Kampgrounds in North America. They have consistently been the recipients of the President's Award and Founders Award for many years. In 2013, they were rated #1 for Specialty Lodging in Gettysburg on Trip Advisor. In 2021, they were a recipient of the Trip Advisor Travelers' Choice Award - top 10% of listings worldwide!

John, Lorelle and Simone all have their camper's interests at heart. That's why you'll see John busy flipping pancakes for your breakfast Saturday and Sunday morning.

Now that's service!
