Our stay was very nice. The staff were extremel friendly and helpful. The only issues were that the park was noticeably vacant, but I guess that all changes when the Snow Birds start to arrive later this month. The other issue is that it is rather remote. Some may welcome that, but we were in the area to visit friends and family, and the location seemed a little out of the way. Not a complaint.

The campground was absolutely great. Pool and hot tub was outstanding. Quiet and serene as this was off season for them. Had a spot on the lake which was beautiful, but nature did not let us really enjoy it like we would have liked.

We had a lovely site right on the lake. The campground is clean & well maintained, bathouse near our site was immaculate. Staff was welcoming & took us out to our site.Lots of great amenities and awesome dog park. Thank you for the KOA rewards free night, we found our closest weekend getaway and can't wait to return!

Beautiful campground, pool, hot tub and Camp K9 were all clean. Nice and quiet in the off season. Enjoyed our time watching the turtles.

We recently stayed at this campground and had a mixed experience. There are definitely some positives, but there are also several areas that could use improvement. The campground is located about an hour from the beaches, so keep that in mind if you're planning to spend a lot of time on the coast. The best parts of our stay were the very clean shower house, pool, and clubhouse.

It was difficult to put our 45 ft 5th wheel in spot 176 with a street sign in front. Our water came out orange at first and ruined our filters. Our slab was cracked and we couldn’t get into our back storage. A little more than $100 a night was not worth that cost!

We were there for ny birthday and had a wonderful time. The staff treated me like a queen! Only 30 minutes away, but still love to come!

Great place unfortunately my wife just had a lung transplant and we needed wifi the place the staff and campground nice just didn't realize how secluded it was and again my wife has to be close to a hospital. Again the place was nice the staff was nice just not fitting for our needs

Camp ground was nice, quiet, clean and friendly staff. Somewhat buggy but to be expected. Would have rated better but the charge for WiFi is out of line for you charge for a nights stay.

The property was very clean, pool area was nice, office staff were very nice. The negatives were you had to pay for the WiFi, the sites were very close and if the park was full we would have had a problem getting our 40 foot 5 th wheel backed into the site. Beaches are 40 minutes away!

All the staff was so friendly and nice! Our kids loved the camp staff (Larry and Brenda), who were so kind to them! The pool was a huge hit and the setting was peaceful and fun!

The Pine Island KOA is unique and one of a kind. A beautiful tranquil experience. Have been a guest spanning 20 years. One of the things that makes it special is the friendly office staff - Brenda and her team are top notch and always there to help.

Very good campground but they put us in a bad campsite. Many empty sites and we got stuck in one with crumbling pad and "patio" that was not big enough even for the picnic table. Pad was just big enough for our 26 foot trailer and truck parked at an angle. #105. Pool and deck was nice and grounds well maintained.

This campground is very nice, clean, friendly and nice biking trail , very pretty . Everyone all over the island is so friendly. Won’t be sorry to stay here . If you don’t have a camper you can rent one of there cabins that are very nice .

We enjoyed the deluxe patio site with the concrete pad that gave us a lovely view of the pond. Timing was perfect for a quiet stay after the seasonal rush ended. We found the site ot be well kept, very clean, and nicely managed. The pool and facilities were wonderful as were the friendly and helpful staff. We look forward to a future stay. Suggest you clarify wifi not free in ads.

Beautiful resort. Clean facilities, pool was warm, love the addition of new children’s playground. We’ve been to this KOA many times and plan to return. They’re always doing improvements and we love the location on Pine Island. Staff are very friendly.

We had a great time at the Pine Island KOA. It was very clean, the folks in the office were very friendly and helpful. Pool/hot tub was wonderful. And they give you lists of all the places to go on the island which was super helpful.

Not much to do there, but restroom was clean and convenient. Have to drive hour or two for any beaches or activities.

We live in SW Florida but wanted to take a quick trip in our motorhome. We've never been to this campground before, I reserved a spot online and put in how many of us and how long our rig was. Showed up on Saturday at 1 to check in and found our welcome packet, made our way to our spot on the water and had a great time. Took the kids to the park and walked around the grounds. Showers and bathrooms were reallly nice. The ONLY thing we hated was the noseums when the sun went down. They were absolutely horrific. We'd go here again in the colder months, really nice park.

This campground is a little over an hour away from us & when KOA rewards offered a free night, we decided why not? We are new travel trailer owners & want to get some weekend trips under our belt before our first long trip. This campground was better than I expected! Being that is was off season the park was quiet & peaceful with only a few campers & even less live in residents. The park is really clean & well kept. We had a site on the lake with a level concrete pad & full hook up all in working order. The bath house closest to us was immaculate. This campground has 2 clubhouses , one with a gym, pool tables, a game room Etc… laundry , tennis/pickleball courts, basketball 1/2 court, a fenced in dog park with agility equipment, fish cleaning station, a beautiful pool & hot tub and a camp store. I noticed the tent sites had nice platforms to get campers off the ground & outdoor kitchens with a sink & microwave. The employees were super nice & led us out to our site in a golf cart. I really like this KOA and we will be back for another weekend getaway.

stayed in a great little cottage. clean, nice, well equipped. Pool is great too. Park is convenient to all the tiki bars in St. James City
