Stayed 2 weeks. Our site was small. Due to a name mix up our assigned site was given to another camper. Due to the fact that we were staying for 2 weeks our site options were limited . We have a 46 ft 5th wheel.

Nice and quiet place to stay! We just wanted a get away for a few days and this was great. My only suggestions would be to have the free WiFi option, as some other KOA campgrounds do. Also a little better selection of snack foods available in the store would have been great.

Beautiful campground, very nice people, clean, alot of amenities. My only drawback was it was far from the beaches. Otherwise a great place to stay

The cabin was perfect for us. Clean and comfortable, will definitely stay again next time visiting our friends on the Island

Disappointed for a KOA. No escort to the site. No wifi unless you pay for it. No trash pickup For the cost this place is not worth it

It's been 4 years since we were last on Pine Island at our KOA, and it feels like it always did, like the hurricanes never happened. It was just as good as it always is, and we (and our 3 dogs) thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only problem is we had to come home. We are so happy to be back and look forward to next winter when we return.

It was a short visit, but we stayed there a couple of years ago and all the new additions to the park are awesome. Love the cute dog park. The neighbors were all super nice and quiet.

My second time here. Worst part is getting on/off the island. Nothing you can do. Campground is great and the staff was always helpful and friendly. Outside pens for dogs shouldn't be allowed. There would be less barking if they were left out while the owners are inside.

We had a great time a few things I would do differently Backing in to a spot on the lake wasn’t great I lost all view of the water Having to pay for WiFi wasn’t cool either And having no garbage pales near by wasn’t convenient

Great location. Quiet if that’s what you are looking for. Nice restaurants nearby. Staff friendly and helpful. Only reason not a 5 star were the biting nat bugs! Could not sit outside camper any time of day. Not sure if our location in park? We had spot along marshy wooded area. The spot was also crowded for our 35 ft filth wheel. Pad was cracked on both corner ends. Limited space to park.

We had a great stay. Upon arrival there was a park problem with our site and Brenda was very helpful and set us up on another site. The bath house and laundry mat were very nice. There was a very nice pool and pickleball courts. There wasn’t a lot to do in the surrounding area but we took a boat to Cabbage Key and we had a great time. The only thing negative that I can aay is no seeums were bad

Very disappointed there were no beaches on the island. Also disappointed that the bath houses were not air-conditioned. Otherwise the staff was nice. The site was nice.

Pine Island KOA is a very nice campground. Equipped with a swimming pool and hot tub. It is a very quiet and laid-back park. It is half empty at this time, so I don’t understand why we were put in the very back. Our only complaint are the sand fleas. They were so bad that you could not sit outside for a barbecue or visit with neighbors. The park needs to invest in spraying.

Quiet, clean, very large campground. Bath house was like new and everything worked as it should! Office staff very friendly and accommodating. Enjoyed our restful stay.

Nice and quiet. Conveniently located. Ride your bike to a variety of trails and/or good restaurants. Friendly, helpful people. Clean, comfortable pool. Large, clean laundry with plenty of washers and dryers that don’t require quarters (use an app or credit card). The only negative thing is they don’t keep their camp store stocked with food or convenience items.

Great stay for first trip out with the new RV. Close enough to be convenient without a long drive and easy bike ride to town and area attractions. Pool facility was great. Loved the turtles in the pond, great source of entertainment!!

Nice campground, but some areas showing its age, severely cracked concrete pads and campsite sod was mostly gone in our area. Enjoyed pickle and pool side activities. Staff nice and responsive.

Absolutely loved it. Everyone was so nice. The dog park was great for our dog, and very big. The days we were there it was too cool to use the pool but it looked very inviting. We arrived on a Saturday and there was a food truck which was awesome after a long drive. My only negative comment (and it’s minor) don’t offer complementary WIFI when it isn’t. We will definitely be back for a longer

Very nice campground. Bath houses & laundry were modern & clean. Hurricane damage nearly all gone. Pool area very, very nice! Best part was the sense of community among long term residents. Con, no WIFI! Definite bummer!

We won't stay here again and will not recommend. Cash is legal tender for all debts. Yes, I know you can choose as a private business. However, you are marginalizing older people and those who don't want to have to maintain credit cards. This might be the reason your campground is so empty compared to all the others we saw on the way.

The park was nice enough and about the only thing on the island. Absolutely no beaches, which we knew prior to booking but it’s just a KOA that bought a smaller RV park. Clean and well established. No real issues other than the cost. $150/night and being a member makes no sense. Won’t stay again for that price. Membership use to mean something. Not for KOA.

We stayed in a deluxe cabin, it was very clean and had the necessities we needed. The park was nice and staff were great. They also had some great entertainment for a Sunday afternoon.

This is our second year staying here. We were a little disappointed this year. It’s very pricey to stay with no internet included. There was a lot of loud music, one camper put up a movie screen and played horror films. Another neighbor had two camper and a truck on his site. Only one dryer in the worked consistently. Water was shut with no details to boil. Need more staff monitoring sites

We live in SW Florida but wanted to take a quick trip in our motorhome. We've never been to this campground before, I reserved a spot online and put in how many of us and how long our rig was. Showed up on Saturday at 1 to check in and found our welcome packet, made our way to our spot on the water and had a great time. Took the kids to the park and walked around the grounds. Showers and bathrooms were reallly nice. The ONLY thing we hated was the noseums when the sun went down. They were absolutely horrific. We'd go here again in the colder months, really nice park.

This campground is a little over an hour away from us & when KOA rewards offered a free night, we decided why not? We are new travel trailer owners & want to get some weekend trips under our belt before our first long trip. This campground was better than I expected! Being that is was off season the park was quiet & peaceful with only a few campers & even less live in residents. The park is really clean & well kept. We had a site on the lake with a level concrete pad & full hook up all in working order. The bath house closest to us was immaculate. This campground has 2 clubhouses , one with a gym, pool tables, a game room Etc… laundry , tennis/pickleball courts, basketball 1/2 court, a fenced in dog park with agility equipment, fish cleaning station, a beautiful pool & hot tub and a camp store. I noticed the tent sites had nice platforms to get campers off the ground & outdoor kitchens with a sink & microwave. The employees were super nice & led us out to our site in a golf cart. I really like this KOA and we will be back for another weekend getaway.

stayed in a great little cottage. clean, nice, well equipped. Pool is great too. Park is convenient to all the tiki bars in St. James City
