The Pine Island KOA is unique and one of a kind. A beautiful tranquil experience. Have been a guest spanning 20 years. One of the things that makes it special is the friendly office staff - Brenda and her team are top notch and always there to help.

Very good campground but they put us in a bad campsite. Many empty sites and we got stuck in one with crumbling pad and "patio" that was not big enough even for the picnic table. Pad was just big enough for our 26 foot trailer and truck parked at an angle. #105. Pool and deck was nice and grounds well maintained.

Great check-in. Nice cabin. Bed was great. Everyone was friendly. Did not disappoint. Had a nice stay.

This campground is very nice, clean, friendly and nice biking trail , very pretty . Everyone all over the island is so friendly. Won’t be sorry to stay here . If you don’t have a camper you can rent one of there cabins that are very nice .

We enjoyed the deluxe patio site with the concrete pad that gave us a lovely view of the pond. Timing was perfect for a quiet stay after the seasonal rush ended. We found the site ot be well kept, very clean, and nicely managed. The pool and facilities were wonderful as were the friendly and helpful staff. We look forward to a future stay. Suggest you clarify wifi not free in ads.

Beautiful resort. Clean facilities, pool was warm, love the addition of new children’s playground. We’ve been to this KOA many times and plan to return. They’re always doing improvements and we love the location on Pine Island. Staff are very friendly.

We had a great time at the Pine Island KOA. It was very clean, the folks in the office were very friendly and helpful. Pool/hot tub was wonderful. And they give you lists of all the places to go on the island which was super helpful.

Not much to do there, but restroom was clean and convenient. Have to drive hour or two for any beaches or activities.

peaceful - we don't fish so I think this whole area is more for those people. We relaxed, and went into Fort Myers and went to Sanibel Island. One rainy day so all was good..

great people, staff and new friends. The staff put us next to WI people and others from the same part of the country. Everyone was very nice. WIFI is missing, or no cable so you cannot work from your RV without tethering off my phone or pay an unreal fee for WIFI connection. Otherwise yes we would come back without any issues. Possibly next year for the month of March.

Great stay in a cottage! Nice campground. Nice staff. Clean pool. No beach access on island but there are ferries that go out to the barrier islands (Sanibel, Captiva, Cayo Costa) where there are spectacular beaches.

This is our second year there. There have been many improvements done since last year. The staff, Brenda, Lonnie and Jenn and the Annual guests make you feel like family! We have grown to love these people! We planned another year and probably many more!!! We love the slow paced island! A member of my family came to visit and intent to return also! We love Pine Island KOA���

We absolutely love Pine Island KOA. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The new management has made many improvements to the park. Jen was our new activities director this year. And what an awesome job she did. We love our pine Island KOA snowbird family. And can’t wait for next season!

Pine Island KOA is a beautiful, well manicured resort. Full of amenities and staff is wonderful. Everyone should take a trip to the island and meeting Miss Brenda and Miss Riley at the front desk. They are very nice and extremely helpful. Ed works the front desk on the weekends, he will fill you in on all the best fishing locations and is there to help you!

Very friendly staff, very clean place from bathroom to shower room to the laundry room. Quiet area for any kind of equipment camping. My favorite of all time, camping right next to the pond with turtles and birds greeting you in the morning. Love it. The only down side of my stay was the wind, but mind you I was camping in the tent. If you can camp in rv or van it is a perfect place. Thanks KO

Unhappy that when I made a reservation it said included WiFi, confirmation said WiFi…. No WiFi provided, however one can rent WiFi from a third party. Desk said been that way for years, should change the web site and reservation system, they just don’t care

Nice campground, needs some work on cleaning the restrooms daily verses occasionally! Found them quite dirty most of the time. Grass cutting needs lots of improvement and cleanup afterwards. The water hookups are across from the trailer hookups across lot. Very poor setup. Need two hoses for hookups. Then you worry if the lawnmower is going to cut. Other than these 2 complaints it was okay

Loved the cabin. Was newly renovated. Amenities were great. Staff very friendly and helpful.

3 nights, back in site. Park was relatively empty in back half, but got placed right next to a "long term" rental. There was not an issue, but given that sites are right on top of each other a little space would have made a nice touch.

Nice park. Quiet and spacious. Only complaint is the sewer drops are raised too high for the septic hose flow properly. Lucky we have a pump I can use to discharge my tank.

With half the place empty, they gave us a spot with the electrical boxes and dog poop station! Whose bright idea was that!?!? Not friendly, lousy store. The no-see-bugs were terrible and biting all hours! The front end is nicely redone with paddle ball. There is a lake, but sadly we were not placed by it, with many spots open. We are VIP KOA members and have stayed at many. But this was one yuck!

Stay was good. Issue would be the septic pipes were too high off the ground. Making an unpleasant chore even more unpleasant. Also there are 2 umbrellas around the back side of pool that are anchored into permanent pipes that are not secured. We had a gust of wind lifted the umbrella and was headed towards the pool, which had swimmers in it. I grabbed the umbrella avoid avoiding injuries.

We live in SW Florida but wanted to take a quick trip in our motorhome. We've never been to this campground before, I reserved a spot online and put in how many of us and how long our rig was. Showed up on Saturday at 1 to check in and found our welcome packet, made our way to our spot on the water and had a great time. Took the kids to the park and walked around the grounds. Showers and bathrooms were reallly nice. The ONLY thing we hated was the noseums when the sun went down. They were absolutely horrific. We'd go here again in the colder months, really nice park.

This campground is a little over an hour away from us & when KOA rewards offered a free night, we decided why not? We are new travel trailer owners & want to get some weekend trips under our belt before our first long trip. This campground was better than I expected! Being that is was off season the park was quiet & peaceful with only a few campers & even less live in residents. The park is really clean & well kept. We had a site on the lake with a level concrete pad & full hook up all in working order. The bath house closest to us was immaculate. This campground has 2 clubhouses , one with a gym, pool tables, a game room Etc… laundry , tennis/pickleball courts, basketball 1/2 court, a fenced in dog park with agility equipment, fish cleaning station, a beautiful pool & hot tub and a camp store. I noticed the tent sites had nice platforms to get campers off the ground & outdoor kitchens with a sink & microwave. The employees were super nice & led us out to our site in a golf cart. I really like this KOA and we will be back for another weekend getaway.

stayed in a great little cottage. clean, nice, well equipped. Pool is great too. Park is convenient to all the tiki bars in St. James City
