Wonderful staff! Easy in and out to main road, easy to access bike trail. The only thing needing completed is repairing the damage by the hurricane but we understand that will take years.

What a pleasant comfortable stay we enjoyed at the Pine Island resort. Such a clean, well kept campground. We had to leave a day early because of a death in our family, and the young lady in the office was so compassionate and pleasant and we appreciate her so very much. We would recommend you to our friends! Thank you

Bathroom showers should be bigger . No one after 5 pm at campground if we needed anything.

I was happy that the campground was open and making repairs after Ian. The pool and hot tub were nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful letting us move sites due to barking dogs next to our initial site.

Stayed for four nights and the staff is the best around. We had an incident where our holding tank fell under the camper while we were away. Amanda, the owner, called to let us know what happened, helped us out, and checked on us later. Grounds and public areas were clean. Beautiful area to sight see. Great stay!

Nice wide sites, great pool, friendly, helpful office staff. Nor fully operational or rebuilt from hurricane damage. No supplies, no organized activities yet. Hopefully opening fully in a year's time.

Very nice campground, even though they are still re-building after hurricane Ian damage. Laundry facilities are exceptional; so is the pool. Hope to stay here again during 2025.

Everyone is friendly. The pool was great. I just wish that the website was more upfront about just how much of the campground is closed. Amenities were very limited for over $100 per night. I’m sure it’s a great place when everything is operational. The bugs were awful. We could not sit outside at night.

The pool was nice. Camp model RVs very run down, not up to standards of most campgrounds I’ve stayed..not hurricane damage issues..just seemed like lack management. Lawn mowing very early, on site with patrons sitting on pad, flying debris from grass…not a pleasant experience. Seem to be attempting to correct hurricane damage in no trespassing areas…eagles nest was great to watch!!

Brand new bathrooms and office. Nothing in store. Pool and hot tub need new diamond Brite but can be used. This is it. No amenities beyond above. The worst shocker- Full PRICE! Only very front portion is available for sites. It is clean- carry your own garbage to dumpsters. It has not been long enough since Hurricane.

We love it there! So glad to be back after Ian. So many good resturants around to eat by the water. We love the town of Matlacha too. We bring out boat and go over to Caya Costa, made a day trip to Sanibel. Weather was perfect and even played some pickleball.

I give this a high rating because I support the local businesses for their recovery efforts. Now just FYI. The facility, pool, laundry, are all put back in better shape than before Ian. Electrical and water infrastructure new in the front area. Rear still closed. Store not stocked yet but island stores up and running normally. Bring insect protection! Noseeums brutal dusk and dawn.

Unfriendly manager. Amazon was told the campground would no longer accept packages without a site number. One is not given a site number before arrival and full timers send packages to next stop. We used to love this KOA.

We stayed at the Pine Island KOA during our quest to find a RV park for 2025, and enjoyed it so much we plan on making it our 2025 winter stay. Everything we need is on the island, hardly any traffic, and should we want beach time they are close enough. Well kept park, friendly staff, and cat wait until the whole park is restored. Thank you for an enjoyable trip!!

We thought this was closer to Fort Myers, not at all. I feel KOA should have posted or advised that the RV park was still in disarray from past storm. Not up to KOA standards and feel over priced for what was available. We still may have booked the RV park had we known the area needed support to rebound. But not informing us was truly unacceptable. Any adjustment of our stay would be great.

A very nice clean park with cement pads. Very quiet and convenient to grocery stores and short trip to Cape Coral for anything you might need. Pricey but also in a very nice area

We LOVED the island and the campground. We had no one behind us and the dog park was amazing as large as it was. We will come back next year if we can get a site when it the app opens for 2025 dates. Thank you!

We live in SW Florida but wanted to take a quick trip in our motorhome. We've never been to this campground before, I reserved a spot online and put in how many of us and how long our rig was. Showed up on Saturday at 1 to check in and found our welcome packet, made our way to our spot on the water and had a great time. Took the kids to the park and walked around the grounds. Showers and bathrooms were reallly nice. The ONLY thing we hated was the noseums when the sun went down. They were absolutely horrific. We'd go here again in the colder months, really nice park.

This campground is a little over an hour away from us & when KOA rewards offered a free night, we decided why not? We are new travel trailer owners & want to get some weekend trips under our belt before our first long trip. This campground was better than I expected! Being that is was off season the park was quiet & peaceful with only a few campers & even less live in residents. The park is really clean & well kept. We had a site on the lake with a level concrete pad & full hook up all in working order. The bath house closest to us was immaculate. This campground has 2 clubhouses , one with a gym, pool tables, a game room Etc… laundry , tennis/pickleball courts, basketball 1/2 court, a fenced in dog park with agility equipment, fish cleaning station, a beautiful pool & hot tub and a camp store. I noticed the tent sites had nice platforms to get campers off the ground & outdoor kitchens with a sink & microwave. The employees were super nice & led us out to our site in a golf cart. I really like this KOA and we will be back for another weekend getaway.
