Beautiful grounds with wide lots! Staff were friendly and helpful. It had the largest K9 dog park that we’ve ever found at a KOA. Concrete pads are a plus as well as the large swimming pool. Island bike trail is at the entrance for exploring the island.

Very disappointed with this park. Based on the price, we expected a nicer place. The “premium patio” site that I paid extra for was just a crumbling concrete pad surrounded with worn muddy grass. The grass was so high that I almost couldn’t find the sewer hookup. Also disappointed that the office/store was closed on Sat and Sun. The park was close to empty creating a ghost town feel.

While recovering from Hurricane Ian, they have done an incredible job welcoming new guests. The staff was professional and helpful. We hope people flock to this KOA to enjoy the rebuilt campground!

Enjoyed our stay. Extremely clean bath facilities. Pool was too warm. Almost hot Grass needed cut I know you couldn’t control it but the no see ums very viscous in the evening

We paid for a premium spot. Extra wide with picnic table. We given a standard spot, no table until we asked for it, then one put in grass on a slant in front of our camper. There were plenty of double sites the whole week we were there. In fact the camp ground was pretty empty. Very over priced (100 a night) for just a single wide spot. We had booked in April for the June stay, so no excuse.

Amanda went above and beyond to make our stay very pleasant and hassle free. We couldn't believe mosquito free and no noseeums.

Campground very clean and friendly staff. Due to past hurricane not entirely open yet, but it did not effect my stay. Nice area and supermarket close by.

I understand that they are still recovering from the storm last year. and things like the store not open and shade trees are missing and rain pooling under my trailer pad. but my stay was very good and picking up my information at the check in hut was great. I would stay there again BUT I think 100.00 per night was a little high.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Even though they are still making repairs after hurricane Ian the campground is clean and the pool areas are accessible and clean too.

Disappointing. When we booked it said there was one available sight. Parks pretty empty so I guess if they post the true availability people will wonder what’s wrong at this place. Our site didn’t even have a the water hook up we paid for so I had to run a hose all the way from the neighbors. Way over priced. Got a knock on the door at “7pm” saying they were turning the power off for a bit

Late checking. Site had no water connection so I moved next spot over. No paperwork for wifi, map of facilities, camp directions, etc. Directed to put trash in bins by office but this was very inconvenient. Totally eaten up by no-see-ems, without any warning or suggestion to deal with them. This is in addition to a spot way out of the way.

The place has suffered from the hurricane. A lot of things are closed. Nevertheless we spent one night under the thunder and rain and the staff was very friendly.

Staff very friendly. But park is listed and advertised as a Resort KOA with a “Pardon Our Dust” warning. The hurricane wiped this place out. It’s far from being a “resort “ and by the looks of what still is large area that’s far away from being fixed, the “dust” will be a long time settling! Sorry but a big disappointment!

Clean, concrete pads, professional staff, clearly dedicated to rebuilding after the Ian tragedy. Pool is immaculate. Probably somewhat overpriced while lacking the amenities that are in the process of rebuilding but aren’t they all.

The campground was fine. They are rebuilding because of the hurricane damage. But the reason why I didn’t give it a 5 is because there’s no cable, no beach access anywhere in the island and the site description on the website that we booked looked nothing like what they gave us. Besides that everything else was ok

This campground is still recovering from Ian but the spaces being used was well kept and clean. Our site was perfect for us. The staff are very helpful and friendly.

We had a great 3 weeks with this KOA, the office staff and the outside staff were very friendly and helpful. A very peaceful and relaxing vacation.

Easy in/easy out. Lot was good sized. Can't wait for the back to be open again . Don't understand the sewer hook ups though; we did have to strap ours down and did see someone's pop out.

Nice clean quiet park. They are working hard to rebuild after Hurricane Ian. But the front half is great. Perfect location to visit Fort Myers area.

Stayed in site 46. Sewer connection was too high. The campground has done a remarkable job to recover from Ian.

I had a dog and child, they gave me the one campsite in the whole place that had a giant dirt square. No trash cans anywhere except in the pool area. No lights at night. Nothing to do on the entire island.

The office lady’s were very kind! All of the other employees were very respectful! The camp was well maintained and they had a good handle on the damage of the other side of the camp! The pool was great and we really felt comfortable there! The restrooms and showers were very clean!

We live in SW Florida but wanted to take a quick trip in our motorhome. We've never been to this campground before, I reserved a spot online and put in how many of us and how long our rig was. Showed up on Saturday at 1 to check in and found our welcome packet, made our way to our spot on the water and had a great time. Took the kids to the park and walked around the grounds. Showers and bathrooms were reallly nice. The ONLY thing we hated was the noseums when the sun went down. They were absolutely horrific. We'd go here again in the colder months, really nice park.

This campground is a little over an hour away from us & when KOA rewards offered a free night, we decided why not? We are new travel trailer owners & want to get some weekend trips under our belt before our first long trip. This campground was better than I expected! Being that is was off season the park was quiet & peaceful with only a few campers & even less live in residents. The park is really clean & well kept. We had a site on the lake with a level concrete pad & full hook up all in working order. The bath house closest to us was immaculate. This campground has 2 clubhouses , one with a gym, pool tables, a game room Etc… laundry , tennis/pickleball courts, basketball 1/2 court, a fenced in dog park with agility equipment, fish cleaning station, a beautiful pool & hot tub and a camp store. I noticed the tent sites had nice platforms to get campers off the ground & outdoor kitchens with a sink & microwave. The employees were super nice & led us out to our site in a golf cart. I really like this KOA and we will be back for another weekend getaway.

stayed in a great little cottage. clean, nice, well equipped. Pool is great too. Park is convenient to all the tiki bars in St. James City
