KOA charging "normal" rates to RVs when not yet recovered from hurricanes. No fitness center, no camp store, no hot water in bath house nearest site. With very few RV and trailers visiting our first night, why were we placed so close to campers who played loud music outside their rig all afternoon/evening? No excuse for KOA to allow, since wide availability of earbuds and headsets.

Beautiful facility but most of all a fantastic staff! The facilities are kept immaculately clean. The park is huge with beautiful lakes and abundant wildlife to include nesting Bald Eagles! Quiet and peaceful and absolutely no road noise. They are almost completely rebuilt from the hurricane with just a few finishing touches to go on the brand new clubhouse.

Everything was great except night #1 when there was no power at my camp site. Had to endure that first night without a fan, but it was ok once the power was turned on. Had the entire back of the camp to myself which was nice. Pool was awesome and the new bathrooms are great.

The staff here is beyond phenomenal! Amanda was not only extremely nice but overly accommodating as well as her employees. Her Team flows and everyone knows their direction. Location is recovering from Ian but should be a prime spot to visit! We honestly can't wait to go back! Our little cabin was so much fun and more than we could ever need!

We had a wonderful time. Directly after the hurrcane in October 2024, our lodge was perfectly clean, well prepared and organized. The whole place was nicely taken care of. The KOA staff was very helpful and friendly. We highly recommend this location.

Beautiful grounds with wide lots! Staff were friendly and helpful. It had the largest K9 dog park that we’ve ever found at a KOA. Concrete pads are a plus as well as the large swimming pool. Island bike trail is at the entrance for exploring the island.

Very disappointed with this park. Based on the price, we expected a nicer place. The “premium patio” site that I paid extra for was just a crumbling concrete pad surrounded with worn muddy grass. The grass was so high that I almost couldn’t find the sewer hookup. Also disappointed that the office/store was closed on Sat and Sun. The park was close to empty creating a ghost town feel.

While recovering from Hurricane Ian, they have done an incredible job welcoming new guests. The staff was professional and helpful. We hope people flock to this KOA to enjoy the rebuilt campground!

Enjoyed our stay. Extremely clean bath facilities. Pool was too warm. Almost hot Grass needed cut I know you couldn’t control it but the no see ums very viscous in the evening

We paid for a premium spot. Extra wide with picnic table. We given a standard spot, no table until we asked for it, then one put in grass on a slant in front of our camper. There were plenty of double sites the whole week we were there. In fact the camp ground was pretty empty. Very over priced (100 a night) for just a single wide spot. We had booked in April for the June stay, so no excuse.

Amanda went above and beyond to make our stay very pleasant and hassle free. We couldn't believe mosquito free and no noseeums.

Campground very clean and friendly staff. Due to past hurricane not entirely open yet, but it did not effect my stay. Nice area and supermarket close by.

I understand that they are still recovering from the storm last year. and things like the store not open and shade trees are missing and rain pooling under my trailer pad. but my stay was very good and picking up my information at the check in hut was great. I would stay there again BUT I think 100.00 per night was a little high.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Even though they are still making repairs after hurricane Ian the campground is clean and the pool areas are accessible and clean too.

Disappointing. When we booked it said there was one available sight. Parks pretty empty so I guess if they post the true availability people will wonder what’s wrong at this place. Our site didn’t even have a the water hook up we paid for so I had to run a hose all the way from the neighbors. Way over priced. Got a knock on the door at “7pm” saying they were turning the power off for a bit

Late checking. Site had no water connection so I moved next spot over. No paperwork for wifi, map of facilities, camp directions, etc. Directed to put trash in bins by office but this was very inconvenient. Totally eaten up by no-see-ems, without any warning or suggestion to deal with them. This is in addition to a spot way out of the way.
