Our month long stay was wonderful ( except for the no see ums). The place is clean, well maintained, easy to get anywhere on the island by bike or car. The staff is great, especially Brenda! I cannot say enough about her. She is one of the sweetest people I’ve met. I watched her handle guests that were upset ( internet) and handled them with a smile and respect. She is the heart of this KOA.

Our stay at the KOA was excellent! Great campground with nice amenities. Wpuld have been nice to have the newer concrete pads, which ours was in pretty bad shape! Gym was great! The staff at the front were really fantastic! Laundry facilities were nice, could be a bit bigger. We wish we knew the bridge to get on the island was under repair. Could take up to 1 hour to get on or off the island.

I only gave it 4 stars because it is one of the priceest Holiday and they don't even pick up garbage, dumpster a 1/2 mile away. Back bathhouse constantly smelled of sewage, very understaffed, washers not working in rear, must take laundry 1/2 mile up to office, The staff did try to keep it clean.

Really liked the campground. Eould have given it a 5 but the hot tub needed cleaning because it looked dirty. Pool need8to be vacuumed more often. The wi fi was really good until you had to pay. We paid for a month and couldn't get our tv to work. It isn't the KOA it was the company. Their customer service was horrible. People at the park were friendly.

It was wonderful! Staff were very accommodating! Just love Brenda, sweetest lady. Amanda did an amazing job for the company. We were sad to see her go!!

The campgrounds is in good shape except some of the concrete pads are broken at the corners, ouch! The pool area, weight/exercise room were excellent. I don't understand why they space campers on top of each other when there are numerous open spots. The biggest downfall is there is one way onto the island and road construction caused delays up to 45 minutes daily, ugh. Nobody mentioned this delay

Your WiFi is terrible. Even though you started charging for it and I subscribed to the high speed version, it was still terrible. Constantly buffering.

Very disappointed with our site. Grass was overgrown and the site was not groomed at all. Access to the island was restricted which was very inconvenient. We should have been notified of this situation.

We love the peacefulness of this community. Park is well kept. Sites are a nice size and you don’t feel like you are in a parking lot. Fitness center was a great addition. The only drawback for us was the laundry room near us in the back wasn’t complete yet. We ended up going into town to a nice new laundromat. The facility at the park was small and hard to get a machine and dryer during the d

I liked the park mostly. The bathrooms were clean and new. Pool nice. It was a very long walk to the trash dumpster and recycling bin. They might want to find another spot for that. Many of the sites were lovely. But the water treatment plant was sometimes stinky. I was happy for the $50/night I paid but would not have been happy for the regular price of $100/night

We completed the express check in and when we arrived we were told that doesn’t do anything plus I received four emails asking to complete the express check in. Most of the sites are small and not level Great amenities and bathrooms The worst part was getting there due to the bridge being one lane in Matlacha, I realize that is not KOA’s fault

Large campground. The concrete pads on some of the sites were cracked & broken. There was not much shade. I was disappointed by the shower facilities in #3. There were 2 showers & 2 toilets plus an enormous disabled one that had a good size shower, toilet and sink. There was also a seat in that bathroom. The other 2 showers were cramped and there were not many hooks and nowhere to sit down.

Friendly staff, clean park, Valentines Day with dance band and catered BBQ. Had a good referral for mobile repair for a new gas regulator. Great location for all things Pine Island but travel on and off Island with bridge construction was a little tedious. I'll be back!!! BoBmaine

The bugs throughout the campground were bad, the water pressure was inconsistent to poor at best. We have stayed at many KOA's in FL and this one is probably one of our least favorite but we did love the restuarant on Pine Island itself.

To expensive for what you get. No cable TV, no entertainment, no weekly rate. $120.00 a night is way to high a price. Nice campground, but will not stay there again.

Enjoyed our stay at KOA as usual. Pool and hot tub were used everyday. Beautiful views , clean campsite and park. Would recommend park to all.

Clean campground. Slightly crowded sites. Sewer hookups too high. General store had little inventory. One laundry non functional. Older facility. Not a fan of staying with permanent residents. Nice lake…not sure why fishing is not allowed. Price too high for amenities offered and location.

Was a great stay the ground around my campsite was still very rough with remnants of debris and decent size holes. Around the concrete pad at site #310. Needs to be raked to avoid a trip or bodily injury

This was our 2nd year staying at the Pine Island KOA. Great location - less than 2 miles to St. James City restaurants - and we love the hot tub and pool. Two issues though - 1. bathroom shower stalls need more hooks for hanging items. And, the bathroom sinks could use shelves for holding items. 2. Despite representing free wifi, you actually have to pay.

Disappointing overall. The “General Store” sold nothing except alcohol. No milk, eggs. No RV supplies. Just a few sun hats. We stayed 2 nights. Our first site at 328 had us jammed between 2 big rigs, on a corner with a large electrical panel on the third side. This was in no way camping. We would have had more room in a Walmart parking lot. At least they helped us to move. Very expensive.

It was clean and neat. The maintance workers were nice. The lady that checked us in was not very helpful. She gave no information about the campground and surrounding areas on Pine Island.

Great spot! The only thing is the dryers don’t dry well. Had to reload money into machines. Other patrons stated the same issues. We had cleaned the lint from screens each time prior to use. A bit costly…. Other than that a beautiful spot

This was our third time to stay at this campground. It has almost recovered from being hit by several hurricanes. We will return in the future for more vacation time. I hope that pool activities such as ice cream parties and live music like they had in 2017 will some day return.

We tent camped. The KOA was very nice over all. Our site was somewhat cramped right next to a little house that kept their lights on the whole night. I should have requested another site. Bathroom was clean first day but not after that. We only stayed 2 nights.

Clean bathrooms, nice pool and spa area. We found lots to do including pickleball and shuffle board. Great community social opportunities. We’ll be back!

This campground is in the middle of Pine Island. Clean facilities. Sewer connections I could not use. The 4" pipe sticks up about a 12 to 14 inches. There is no dump station. Due to the hurricane, there is not much to explore in the area.

We were place at far back site so the Wi-Fi would not work due to week signal. Stayed at four other KOA campgrounds this trip had no problems with Wi-Fi signal due to multiple routers through the park. Not the parks problem but the access due to the bridge being one lane caused a 50 min wait first crossing. No issues going out Sunday but a one hour wait to get back across that afternoon.

When on the property I had a difficult time getting the front desk to promptly return my calls. Other than that they were very accomodating. The facility was very nice.

Campground is well maintained & quiet. You could tell they had done a lot of work after the hurricanes. Showers/bathrooms were nice and clean. Weight room & cardio room in the second clubhouse had new equipment and the pickleball court was new. Pool was great. Bald eagles flew over our campsite daily. Only drawback, trying to get off & on the island - bridge repairs ongoing and will be for a while
