We’ve stayed here several times. It’s quiet and peaceful. This time though the grass needs to be mowed everywhere. A WiFi extender is needed in the park.

Quick overnight stay with dogs. Requested and received a very quiet pull-through spot on a hill. Didn’t use any shower/bathroom facilities so can’t comment on them.

Both times that we stayed, we were unable to get WIFI. Other than that, Flatwoods is an extremely nice campground…..very clean and well-maintained! We used it as an overnight stop going to and coming from a destination. We will likely do that again next year. Hopefully, the WIFI issue will be resolved!

Came in late looking for a site the young man at the counter remembered me from a week ago when we stayed there said he had a site for us it’s always a pleasure to stay there

Looked as if it had been closed all winter. Water & electrical hookups were great; however, routine items like mowing obviously not a priority.

We have a momentum toy hauler over 40 ft. We requested a site to accommodate such trailer. A pull thru. Pulling into our site was impossible. Roadways are too narrow for that long of a trailer. Try to pull in camper slid off the blacktop almost took out the jacks. Ended up hitting my truck bed on the corner of my fifth wheel smashed the fiberglass. Same thing going out down the exit . Dirty site

Knowing this is a Journey campground it is easy to get to from the interstate and is the sites are spaced well. The roads are tight and steep on the upper side of the campground. If you have a larger rig I would recommend that you call to see what sites would work for your setup. The campground is run out of the Comfort Inn and they are very helpful. It is a good overnight value!!!

The campground needed mowing and trimming. I couldn't connect the sewer elbow to their connection because the ground and concrete was too high and the elbow hit both. This needs to be corrected. so I had to be careful when dumping so the elbow did NOT come out of the connection.

Arrived no store, no change machines or soap dispensers. Site was extremely unlevel, 6.5" to right, 12.5" off lengthwise, connections were centered on the site, almost couldn't hook up and keep tow vehicle attached, wasting the rear portion of the site. 30a receptacle was noticeably melted, but worked until 2 am when I awoke to no power, switched to 50a. Shower area was smaller than my camper.

largely unlevel sites (tried 41 then 40), poorly marked campground roads and no lighting. the roads are verybhilly, narrow and so dark at night. power hookups were at the front of the campsites which is unusual and made parking/leveling the camper more difficult. uses hotel front desk for checking (friendly staff) but getting there on narrow inclined street is a challenge with a camper

Like this little campground. The only negatives was the lights were out on the amphitheater patio, only one worked.. others burnt out? There was a few plastic covers missing which exposed deep, deep well holes, if walking a dog over there, could be catastrophic. Few bees buzzing around site, campground could be a GEM, needs a bit of maintenance. Second stay there, would stay again.

The sites were gravel and not very level. We have a class a motorhome and the roads are narrow with drop offs that made it very challenging to manuerver the rig. Also very hilly. Our electric 50 amp service did not work and there was no technician to help luckily our cord reached to the next camp site. Staff at the inn were very friendly but I would not recommend this KOA.

Stayed for couple of nights on the way home. This KOA is very quiet and convenient. It had everything we needed. We even saw a few deers in the morning of our departure. The only reason I gave it four stars is that the bathroom were not clean every day therefore no toilet paper and garbage was full. Otherwise good. We will definitely stay there again.

One of our favourite places to stop on our way back from Florida. Spacious sites, great amenities and being able to access the facilities of the Days Inn hotel is a major plus.

We like staying here because it is a convenient stop for us on our way home from Florida. It has easy access off the highway and into the campground. Sites are roomy and flat. The people are also very friendly.

Nice place but site 37 was not level and caused us issues with our leveling system. Also the garbage had not been emptied and the cans were full when we arrived on 3/28 and still full 3/30. Bathhouse was closed but that was not an issue for our stay. I feel they need a stand alone manager with no responsibilities at the hotel, just the KOA.

RESTROOMS WERE OUT OF ORDER. SITES WERE OUT OF LEVEL BY 4 TO 6 INCHES SIDE TO SIDE. CONCRETE PADS ARE TOO SMALL.

Site was only slightly unlevel. No bathroom or showers available. We are self contained and did not have an issue, but there other campers that would have used them. We will probably use this site again. Thanks

We were returning home and we stay at the Flatwoods KOA as a midway point of our return trip. Convenient. Easy access.

Stayed at 2 KOA on the way home neither had laundry or cable and the flatwoods didn't even have a working bathroom

Nice location right off the interstate! We stayed one night while traveling home. Our campsite had no trees for shade. I didn't check out the whole park, so maybe some of the other sites had trees. Check in was at the Days Inn next door. I went to the front desk to check in and my husband went to get a pool key. We both noted that the staff was not friendly at all. Overall, it was a good campground and we would stay again.

We stayed overnight in a pull thru site on 4/30/26. You have to register at the Hotel before you go down into the campground. The sites are nice with a decent amount of room. Most of the sites look pretty level. The campground is pretty hilly. We stayed at site 66. It is nice and dark at night. The internet service was real good. The Hotel is affiliated with the campground, so the indoor and outdoor pools are available to use as is the fitness center. There is a restaurant in the Hotel also. There are hiking trails onsite and also an auditorium.
