Sites are not at all level

The huge sign over the entrance telling us to check in through the front desk of the hotel was our first impression! And it wasn't good. Trying to maneuver a big rig towing was not easy in a hotel lot. Then to have NO ONE in the campground for questions....I was not impressed.

Flatwoods KOA has been our halfway stop for about three years. The hotel staff is always welcoming and helpful. The sites are clean and fairly level. Internet is strong and the facilities are modern and well maintained. We'll be back in the Fall!

Right off the interstate. The campground is set in a valley with sites at differing elevations. Ours was higher up, easy to get into and easy to leave.

We hope to come back and enjoy the area. We only stayed one night on our way North but were impressed with the facilities. The concept is awesome.

We were first time visitors to Flatwoods even though we passed by many times. Flatwoods KOA is nowon our list of great stops.

Courteous staff, clean campground, paved sites and great enclosed dog area. Trees wrapped in coloured lights gave it s nice touch

Well located campground for snowbirds heading home in the spring and driving to destinations in the south. There is no area television reception because you're located in a valley.

We just stayed a night but it was a nice stay. The sites are a bit close but the area is nice. They had a complementary breakfast that was good. WiFi was good. People were friendly. They no longer have a jump pad but there was a little playground and a nice little pool and mini golf

Very quite! Check in at the Days Inn was a bit unusual but not inconvenient. There was no camp store but we really didn't need anything. Overall, a nice experience.

We are heading south and Flatwoods was the furthest north KOA open and we travel from Ont to Fla. Staff is awesome the sites are great! The restaurant is nice as it is close to go to but the food is just MEH. The cost of convince!

Great place for an overnight stay while traveling. Only issue was with the WiFI connection - very poor and no cable connection to watch television. Streaming on computer didn't work out due to poor WiFi connection. Very clean facility - easy check in process. Close to many restaurants, gas stations. Also far enough away from the Expressway that the car noise was not an issue.

This KOA is actually above average but the experience is diminished by two factors. The entrance road is narrow and involves a difficult U turn. Also the office is in the adjoining hotel lobby, so you have to park in the hotel lot and enter the hotel to check in. These issues should have been mentioned in a welcoming text or e-mail but they weren't.

We only say for one night on our way home to Canada. Great location for us to stop. Well maintained and clean. Friendly staff. We like to walk around the park after sitting all day in the truck. We have seen deer in the woods around the camp.

Level campsites. Right off the main road but behind the hotel so very quiet. No road noise. Very clean.

Sites were not level, not that many lights to light up the area at night, WI-FI sucks was not able to use it at all, much improvement is needed.

This is a gem of a campground. Wide open, generous size spaces, lots of outdoor walking, and a playground for children. Amenities at the Days Inn are included such as use of the pool and dining room.

Facilities and staff were nice, definitely don’t recommend for tent camping. The parking lot lights don’t ever go off and keep the entire campground bathed in heavy light all night long.

Convenient location, with Publix and liquor store next door. Very friendly hosts and clean, clean showers and bathrooms. Super spot for a night or two.

The campground is extraordinarily clean as it is the laundry and washing facilities. It’s nice that you have access to the indoor pool and the restaurant. My only suggestion would be a few more lights to be installed in the campground itself, and on the hill leading into the campground. We have stayed here on route previously, and would do so again.

This is a smallish RV Park in proximity to a Days Inn, and an Amphitheater. The full hookup pull through gravel sites are off asphalt access roads, and mostly level. The convenient hookups are modern, and functioned properly. No cable tv, 3 OTA stations (PBS), and a big sky for satellite, their included WiFi was mostly okay, but did not always provide a reliable signal - Verizon cell service is good. Not much of a destination, it is a good overnight - check in at the Motel, and travel down the hill to your site. Good clean bathrooms, and free ice - bonus.
