Excellent facility, clean, quiet, remote yet close to everything. A very well thought out area and very well maintained. We defiantly will be back.

We were pleasantly surprised by this KOA. It's easy to get to, is well maintained, has the convenient amenities of the hotel nearby, and the spot we stayed in (#1) was great with lots of room, a nice view, cement patio, fire pit that you can cook on and a BBQ. We would definitely stay there again if we're in the area. We thought it's the nicest KOA we've stayed at yet.

Very nice and quiet park. The picnic tables were in really good condition, and we liked the concrete patio. We only stayed for one night so we didn't use any of the amenities.

Third time staying here. All stays were just an overnight stay. There is a nice restaurant at the Days Inn which is where you check in for campground. Only small issue is that bath house is not close to all sites and bath house did not seem to have air conditioning

We have’s stay at this KOA before for an overnight stay and was disappointed by the site this time, the site was very narrow which put us on top of our neighbors. Half of the park was empty so not sure why they gave us this site. This was a full hookup site.

Very nice campground has a diner on Fri and Sat and a pizza place that delivers to the campground Recommend it. Road is narrow but we made it with our 40 ft Monaco towing a 20 ft car trailer

This was a gem of a find for us. Really nice campground for an overnighter. Set in the hills, high above the highway, there is little to no traffic noise. Large spacious sites! Beautiful facility! Downsides are the downhill and then uphill hike to the single restroom facility and the terrible WiFi signal if you are in a spot on one of the upper levels.

The ambiance, The view, Serene site movement was awesome, In the beautiful site, the scenery the audience. It was very peaceful and would recommend it 100%

Great location and grounds. Check in was super easy. Food at sister location (Days Inn) was really quite good! Staff was very friendly.

Overnight camper stop after 7 hrs on the road. Had a great hill top site that was very quiet even with campers on each side. Very clean. Good facilities and services available. Restaurant had a delicious looking dinner but we were just to tired to dine. This place is becoming our go to stop on our long trips south.

Everything was clean and neat. The campgrounds were well kept. The garbage pickup guy was extremely congenial. It was a great place to stop.

The road to this KOA was treacherous at best. We travel in a 39 foot class A with a tow vehicle. The road into the camp was narrow, hilly and windy. I would not recommend this KOA if you have a large rig. The facilities were good but the road was treacherous at best.

Needs a second bathhouse/restroom as the only available one is short on shower and toilets. Plus the distance from some campsites is a long way away.

Signs about registering were not easy to see! There should’ve been a bigger sign that you had to register at the Holiday Inn before you got to the KOA sign!

Quiet, beautiful, clean and and serene just what we needed on our return trip!! My only recommendation is to check the hiking trail for overgrowth.

We had no wifi for the first 3 days but Ryan discounted our first couple of days due to that. The fruit flies were horrible!! Staff tried all they could, ie: bleach, drain cleaner, but nothing would get rid of them. We even went to Walmart and got fruit fly traps and they were still swarming. Other than those issues, our stay was great and we will be back next year.

Basic clean campground. Great for short stays of relaxation. We went to the hotel outdoor pool and although it was cold it was very nice

Favorite stop-over point on our 700+ mile travel from family in the south to family in the north. We've stayed here at least twice a year for several years. Easy pull in, level and clean site with concrete patio, full hookups, friendly people at checkin, what's not to love? Oh - and the prices are still reasonable compared to some other KOA campgrounds. Love this place!

It was run out of a Days Inn near the campground. No one available. No propane, no ice, just a place to park and hook up. With a full KOA price tag. Beautiful grounds and would be perfect with a basic store and the normal things we expect from a KOA.

Flatwoods KOA is always a Very Nice place to stay. We have been camping there every year for a long time, it is always very clean and well kept. The staff is always very helpful and friendly.

Arrived later in the evening, checked in and drove to the site. What a wonderful, quiet, serene RV Park. We stayed in front of the Amphitheater it was wonderful. Flat site and the nite sky was full of stars. Wonderful RV Park. We will definately be back. This was like no other KOA we have stayed in. Delightful

We stayed at Flatwoods for 1 night on 5/12/24 and 5/20/24. Both times we were assigned to site 10. On 5/20, we had to change sites because the 30 amp outlet registered faulty on our continuity tester. Also, the sewer hookup needs to be addressed. The sewer cap is broken, it smelled, and there were flies all around it.

Good place for a few days if you're in the area. New owners so the place is in transition. We'd like to visit again to see what changes were made.
