There are so many positives here--a great place to take a family. Playground, Gaga pits, wonderful pool area, arcade, pleasant shower/bathrooms, and extra large dog park. What they did not have was shaded lots. It was puzzling; half of the park seemed dedicated to long term/permanent camping and those lots were heavily wooded and beautiful. Not the short term lots--would be very hot in the summer.

This was one of the most well run facilities. Great Staff. Beautiful location. Bathrooms, showers, laundry facilities very nice. Only negative comment was internet was difficult.

Enjoyed our stay at this campground. It was far enough out that you weren't in the crowds but close enough to do day trips to all the little towns, state parks and lighthouses.

The campground was extremely clean. All the employees were incredibly nice. We can’t wait to return next season.

The campground was spacious and had many amenities for campers. It seems that there are a couple of different type of campers at the campground; the camper who stay for a night or week, and others who seem to be staying in their campers for longer periods of time (they give the impression of living there). It was just a little different to have long-term campers mixed with short term.

We were tent camping, and fortunately we had those sites to ourselves. Since there is little to no screening between sites, there would have been a serious lack of privacy. The showers/rest rooms were clean. The tent pads were flat. There were quite a few small stumps sticking from the ground which could present a hazard, so you might want to cut those off.

We love this campground. It's never overcrowded when we go late season. Our only concern this visit was the four big dogs on the site behind us that kept trying to come into our site. Our dog was not happy about that so we weren't able to fully relax knowing we needed to monitor at all times

this is one of the nicest K O A's we have visited, very quiet with plenty to do on the property. three pools,waterslides, plenty to keep everyone entertained

Staff were very friendly and responsive to any questions or concerns we had. We were in a very quiet area away from the fun kids equipment. The whole area was well landscaped and tidy. Our grandchildren would love this campground. One “negative” The driers run for an hour and you have to put in $3, regardless of how much time you actually need and they are very efficient so clothes dry quickly

The only thing I would change would be the store hours. They closed at 5 pm. It would be nice to see them open later for anything needed after 5 pm for things like Firewood and supplies

Great facility and friendly staff. The only complaint I had is the website listed the store hours as being open until 8pm and they closed at 5pm. This left me having to find my spot on my own and not being able to buy firewood. Other then that it was a great stay and my children loved it. We will return but will make sure to either get there earlier or bring wood with us...lol

Needed a place to rest for a night. I had a site that was close enough to activities and far away enough to have a quiet and restful night. Showers were clean but the water had a strong odor. Had some issues with the sink faucets. Touchless… but did not work for me.

Very nice campground. Staff is very friendly. Enough room between sites and plenty of grass. Nice pool area and playgrounds if you have children.

Staff was friendly, from check in to helping us get propane. Campground was clean and well maintained. Would have given it 5 stars but internet was working intermittently.

Beautiful well kept KOA. Fair amount of seasonal sites in the trees. Nice level big sites for your largest of RVs. Hard working staff.

Little off the beaten path.. but that was ok. We had a nice spot to park, had a fire, toured the county. Over all a positive experience.

Nice area, nice cabin, nice staff … WiFi not so nice. We’re not huge about being on our phones but hard to watch TV at night or check weather. Otherwise a good time, the campground is pretty and well maintained.

Always enjoy staying at Door county KOA. BUT, we really need to get a handle on the 24hr restrooms at the office. They always smell badly of sewer gas. Other than when they get cleaned and a couple hours after. Oh and one other mention. Maybe add some signage coming from the south. And clean around sign at the corner of K and Lovers Lane. Very hard to see. Otherwise love staying here.

the campground is aging, but cared for. The staff were mostly friendly. The only criticism I have is probably something most won't even care about. I just don't need a call while I am driving on the highway to find out "approximately what time I will be arriving." I wasn't late, I hadn't cancelled, no plans had changed. Why call me at noon to find out when I am arriving?

We stayed at the KOA for a week to explore the area. It's a great halfway point for Door County and Green Bay. Check in was easy. We had a back in spot on the corner that had a huge green space. Saw one of the workers cleaning about (1 hr) on a grill in a site in front of ours, which was nice to see. I always wondered if they got cleaned (anywhere). The pool was open, but saw no one swimming. We did visit the bar/lounge area one evening. Great place to stay. We did not use the laundry/shower house.

We were there very early in the season, so we weren't expecting the site to be at 100%. But they did move us ti a better and higher spot than I had booked - at no charge. The only complaint was they didn't clean a bathroom the 5 days we were there. The restroom/shower were very nice but the trash was never removed and someone in camp took their diarrhea to each of the 3 we used.
