We arrived just shortly before 5 pm on Wednesday 7/9 and the office was just closing. They had pre-assigned us one of the worst sites in the entire campground #53, bordered on one side by the shower and laundry buildings, the other side by another very tightly spaced campsite and in the back by other campsites. Absolutely zero privacy. Full of screaming kids. Couldn’t wait to leave.

the pool water was at 74 degrees to cold to go swimming, no internet

I loved the campground but the staff didn’t seem to know there campsites and showed me the wrong site and gave me a site downgrade. I was disappointed because of the confusion and the fact that I didnt get the site that was booked to me.

Mixed thought. On one hand a very beautiful CG. Way off in deep country. But - we asked three different people about our TV not working. But no one helped. Sitting on mattress felt like going to fall right thru!1 NEEDS REPLACING! And coffe maker would not work. Good thing we brought our own. So - not that happy about stay. At that price we expected more.

2 night stay very clean could use a couple more garbage cans around the area but very nice.

Camp site #69 was not ready for my arrival. Fire pit was full of garbage, s’mores was melted all around the patio and table, chairs. There was no wi-fi available. I was very surprised and disapointed. We actually left a day early, due to no wi-fi and wife having to do some work, which required access to internet. We did notify front desk at our departure.

Initial site was one of, if not the worst site, I was ever assigned in the decade I have been a KOA member. Fortunately Julie made it right by moving me to a much better site. FYI my surge protector indicated the wiring at that site was reverse polarity.

When I first arrived I was very disappointed because I felt like I was in the middle of nowhere. However, after visiting the popular destinations, I was grateful to return to the park where it was quiet and low key. The location is close to the attractions but remote enuf for downtime. Very clean and well kept! Staff were very nice and the mini-store had all the essentials.

While the grounds were nice clean There were many issues with the entertainment offered no one had a clue the just said we don’t know have to wait for so and so very disappointed we missed out on the games etc Also no one watches the pool kids running and jumping in 4-5 foot water all day long

I liked the KOA. I wish it was a little closer into Door County. The staff were all very nice and helpful.

The sites are not very well kept up weed growing all over the place! We lost power on our stay had to pack up and come home on a 90° day

We had a wondervul time. Great park with great amenities.

The place was nice . It needed some up keep(mini golf, dead trees on sites, plumbing). Bathrooms would've been awesome but they were having backup issues. It wouldn't be our first choice but still good

We book every year for July 4th before we leave. This year we didn't. The campground has taken a big step backwards. No food service around the pool on the 4th till 230? Pizza only? Bar closed till 230? Fishing pond is a fishing swamp. So much trash in it and muck, no way a fish could live in there. Big disappointment.

Power went out on Saturday afternoon while we were at the pool. NO NOTIFICATION. We were walking back to our site and another camper asked if we had power. We did at noon. We had our 2 dogs inside with air conditioner on along with 2 fans. NO ELECTRIC AT OUR SITE. Good thing we went back when we did. Is KOA going to reimburse us because we left early as they could NOT give fix time?

We had the Deluxe Cabin 1. It was super clean. Plenty of room for the 4 of us. In the bathroom there were so many switches that didn’t work. Along with the TV didn’t work as well. But overall we didn’t want to leave. We will be back in Aug.

Although I did pick the site I felt i needed for my stay we were not informed that the site was sloped downhill. With a 40' rig we were unable to level. Thankfully we were given a different site and things worked out fine. These sites we were in could use a good makeover for future use. Uneven cuts and steep slopes make it difficult for big rigs

Had great time. Very nice camp ground

Stayed in a cabin for a week, accomodation exceptional. Internet extremely poor, and no tv channels without internet, so double bad when you have three children. Left a day early due to expected storm and without internet or tv would have been miserable. Store also closed at 5pm daily during the weekdays so if you needed anything then you had to leave and find a store.

Site 198 had knee deep leaves all around site and electrical hookup. Only had 30amp plug didnt offer standard 50/30/20. The Electric/water was 15-20 ft apart hard to park camper to reach both and be level. Appeared run down waterside with chipped paint, rust stains, pool was missing tiles, old garbage, bandaids/foo on pool deck for days. Office staff was helpful and friendly. Bathroom ok sometimes

I was disappointed with the site I was assigned to. Nothing like the one in the picture of when I made the reservation. I thought it was going to be with some shade. Luckily, my wife and I had a canopy which we used for some shade. Also, the water had a funny smell (rotten). We have stayed here the last couple of 4th of July weekends, don't know if I will return again.

It was a nice facility lots of sites and good equipment. People didnt seem as friendly as other KOAs we have stayed at. The daily events put on by the campground were not handed out to campers just posted in the office. They sell firewood but don't usually deliver it to your site unless requested. The place is kind of a maze difficult to find the exit drive. Nice place tho.

The seasonal next to us used our power box for his boat the whole time we were there. We lost power the last afternoon we were there. When I went into the office to ask about ETA of power the guy was pretty rude to me. We ended up packing up and heading home and loosing 1 night of our stay.

We thought everything was wonderful, staff was friendly. The only down fall was there was a 50/50 raffle and was told the drawing was at 7pm when it ended up being held early do to rain. So we ended up missing out on attending after bay $80 also the women’s bathroom by the pool toilets don’t flush well or hardly all and 2 of the sinks barely would turn on to wash hands. But overall was nice pl

It was a wonderful campground with friendly campers. Clean bathrooms and shower houses. One negative was that the cell service and their internet did not work most of the time so we had to drive down the road to get service.

Our site was great, however the rest of the park wasn't as great. The water slide was closed, the putt putt was overgrown and un-usable, the pond was gross and not able to be fished in. The arcade was closed and we had to ask for them to unlock it. Our firepit was full of debris when we got to our site. The playground was full of ants and unable to be used, plus the swings were removed.

We stayed for a week in the new patio sites. They are beautiful and spacious.

The park was extremely noisy. Our neighbors behind us consisted of extremely drunk adults and out of control and unsupervised children (and adults). I was actually concerned for their, and our safety. Music so loud after quiet time I could feel the bass through our AC. Not a fan.

Limited word version: Enjoyed campground, slide either should be fix or removed from website. Cabin: hot water didn’t last for even one shower, needs better cleaning, something was spilled on the deck and a lot of garbage in the yard, dirty utensils & knives, spiders in bathroom, rusty shower head, dusty fans, no bathmat, uncomfortable bed. Enough beds for 6, only has dishes & towels for 4.

Very accomodating staff. First site was not going to allow us to level so they moved us to a different site which was perfect. Truly the only reason this isn't a 5 star rating is that the water quality is very concerning. We test our water at every campground, this one had 727 ppm - anything over 500 is considered unsafe to drink. Not sure why their water is contaminated or with what.

The camp store hours seemed awfully early. They were closed by 5pm which was somewhat frustrating. Noticed a few people with late check ins that had no staff to help them out. The bathrooms also seemed off. The automatic sink or an occasional stall's water would run. To be fair the staff was super helpful in adjusting our reservation during a rainstorm from a tent site to an open deluxe cabin.

Great base Location to experience the Door County peninsula using the HWYS 42/57 loop!

This place is the best. We had a big site out in an area almost by ourselves. The employees here are just amazing. So friendly and helpful. If we ever make it back this way it's where we will stay. We originally were just going to stay a week. We extended a week and I was thinking about extending another two but we had to head home immediately due to Susans health. TY Door county KOA

Was impressed with the grill on the patio and that it was clean ready to use. Keep up with the clean grounds as well. Grandkids loved the pool to.

Great location for Door County sightseeing!! Staff is very friendly and helpful. Facilities are wonderful and well maintained.

We like site 255. It's normally quiet, fairly close to restrooms. We were somewhat disappointed to find the site had not had the grass/weeds cut in awhile. This site could use some trimming up to the fence to help keep mosquitos down. We did enjoy the fire fly shows in the evening. We will come back when we camp on Door County.

We spent a week and it was wonderful. Clean, safe, super friendly and helpful staff. Great site (pull thru with patio and full hook ups). This is our second time here and we love KOA!

We stayed at the KOA for a week to explore the area. It's a great halfway point for Door County and Green Bay. Check in was easy. We had a back in spot on the corner that had a huge green space. Saw one of the workers cleaning about (1 hr) on a grill in a site in front of ours, which was nice to see. I always wondered if they got cleaned (anywhere). The pool was open, but saw no one swimming. We did visit the bar/lounge area one evening. Great place to stay. We did not use the laundry/shower house.

We were there very early in the season, so we weren't expecting the site to be at 100%. But they did move us ti a better and higher spot than I had booked - at no charge. The only complaint was they didn't clean a bathroom the 5 days we were there. The restroom/shower were very nice but the trash was never removed and someone in camp took their diarrhea to each of the 3 we used.
