A stunning setting for starters, but easily the cleanest KOA we have stayed at. The staff was amazing, even took the cart to show us where our site was when we arrived, greeted us the next morning and were over all welcoming! Already told fellow travelers this is a must stop!

We loved now quite the park was no traffic noise. Sites could be leveled better. People were nice.dudnt live the two big dead bugs in the laundry room.

Very beautiful campground. Very well maintained and the staff are fabulous. This is our third stay and next year we’ll make the stay longer.

Great friendly staff. This was our very first outing with the rv and they made it great with the reception staff and even the escort staff which led us to the actual site.

There was construction right next to our site all day long, bathrooms were closed and the alternative bathroom was a mess. I have to blow debris from my patio myself. For $100 a night not what I expected. We normally have great experience here, we will still be back. I thought you should have warned us about the construction and offered a different site.

To be fair it was off season. Some amenities were not available and staff did not know hours of what was. Otherwise it was a great experience. We stayed at premium site they could use gravel next to concrete as it was a tripping hazard. Otherwise great stay keep up the good work.

Very high price ($88) for only access to hookups. No access to store or food offerings between 5 pm and 9 am, not suited for just overnight stays. Never again

Water was out to the main bathrooms and laundry during our stay as well as construction equipment with back up alarms constantly going…. was not warned about all of this during booking and would have changed had we known.

The folks at KOA West Des Moines were great. We were going to be an hour and a half to be able to get food at the resturant and a half hour late for the office. We called and they checked to see if they could stay open late and to call them back 10 mins before we arrived which we did. They let us place our pizza order and when we arrived they were there to great us and pizza was ready.Thank You

Great as usual. Site needs to be leveled had to bring on side up 3 inches. Very clean. No cable tv but the antenna picks up 50+ channels.

This was our second stay here. We have family in the area and will stay here whenever we visit. The campground is very well laid out and very well maintained. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

Best KOA we've stayed at! Sites are spacious, grass was beautiful, campground was clean, everything was clearly marked, and it was easy to get our fifth wheel around the campground, into and out of our site. Kudos to the management and staff on providing a very well-run, good looking campground experience!!!

They have a great staff and lots of improvements to the campground have been done. The seasonals make the campground look trashy and feel they degrade appearance.

Great help from Yvette Tom and Barry. And the pancake breakfast on Sat morning hit the spot! Everyone was very welcoming. We would certainly return.

Stayed here many times in a cabin. But be aware that this May 2025 the usual shower, WC and sink facility is closed for work. They have only two shower/WC/sink units open (less than a fourth of the usual). So sometimes we had to wait up to half an hour. When will the usual facility open again? Dunno. Otherwise, good as usual.

We've stayed in several KOA's and this one was the best by far! Sites were spacious, well maintained and well set up; it was easy to maneuver our fifth wheel around the campground, into our site and out when it was time to leave. It was quiet, clean, the activity staff was friendly and well-spoken - just a pleasure to camp here! Highly recommend it for a night, a weekend, or longer!!
