Stay was good except the internet was not working. TV was constantly trying to load and my iPad and phone would not pull up sites either.

Rented the camping cabin. It was a very cold weekend. The heater worked but had a hard time getting the cabin warm. It was ok, because I had my zero degree sleeping bags. The TV was great, not something that is in all cabins. Shower/bathroom was warm and was nice. Check in was easy and I received a text with all the instructions that were needed. Called the staff and picked up right away.

Everything was clean and great, but our mattresses in the cabins have reached their end of life and definitely need to be replaced. Other than that, exceptional.

2nd weekend in a row but an issue; spoken with Markus about parking our uhaul and car trailer in an empty slot (he said to use 26 and made a note on the reservation 10/17) by our cabin Friday evening. When check in we were told no, no note & if parked there charged despite the grounds being only a 1/3 full. Blocked dumpsters & cars in overflow as told and was offsite by 8:30 AM.

Cabin was very clean and well stocked and situated for our family. The office staff were very accommodating and friendly. We will definitely stay again!

Super clean & well maintained camp ground. The Deluxe Kabin was perfect. I’m hoping to stay 2-nights on my return drive to my work camping KOA in NH in April. Thanks for the short but great stay.

So many fun activities for kids, and so many were free! Everyone had a great time! Cabins were nice and offered more items I didn’t realize they had, like soaps and trash bags.

For the most part, we enjoyed the activities and staff at the Des Moines West KOA, especially during the halloween season. With that said, it would be nice if the dust from the roads could be better controlled as everything gets a coat of dust after the weekend stay. For the cabin we stayed in, the entire outside area and porch has a coat of dust, and the interior had many bugs and cobwebs.

Our cabin had so many ladybugs climbing the walls , flys, wasps. It was just me and my 3 kids and they refused to sleep in there with all the bugs. We did not even use the cabin and packed up and stayed in my friends camper with them. Very disappointed

Another fabulous Halloween Spooktacular weekend! So much to do, crafts, excellent pizza and wings, yummy ice cream, shopping and the staff goes above and beyond to make sure you have a wonderful time. I look forward to this weekend with my Grandkids every year and have for about 10 years. It's a great place to stay year round.

The staff were very helpful and pleasant. We stayed in the same cabins we have stayed in previously and liked the shared patios, so we can all enjoy our outdoor time together. The kids really liked the trikes. They looked forward to those. They also liked the jumping pillow. We will definitely come back.

The stay was good and the only complaint I have is the shower head and handle needs replaced. The staff is very friendly and polite. They make your visit relaxed. Great place to stay.

Stayed in a cabin and was very pleased. They are very nice and comfortable. This was our 3rd stay at this KOA and we will stay again if our travels bring us back through the area.

Friendly and efficient staff, lots of choices in the camp store, and clean and beautiful cabin. The flowers and bushes are beautiful and well kept.

The staff is amazing and very helpful, there are a ton of things for kids to do! The cabins are nice and very clean. It’s a fun place to stay with family and kids and the pizza is great!

We love DSM West KOA! The staff are amazing and are super engaged with campers. My kids loved the activities and we love the cabins and accommodations! This is our go to kampground!

They gave me the wrong map and I tried to open someone else's cabin at midnight and I'm they didn't hear, I finally found mine. The curtains were so see through I had to put blankets up also the cable didn't work and I wanted to fall asleep to tv but I was too tired to deal with it. Probably wouldn't stay here again without I love KOAs. Also a bathroom was too far away from the cabins.

This KOA is an amazing place to stay. Every year we come they are beyond friendly & make every bit of the stay enjoyable. This year they even went above & beyond for us & it made my nephews entire weekend! Thank you from all of us Madsen’s/Thompson’s & we will see ya next year! �

The cabins are very small. Having garbage cans throughout the park would be nice. Long ways to walk to put in dumpster. The chairs in the cabin to go with table were too big. With the small cabin the chairs need to be able to fit under the table. The outside table was not a good choice when having young kids. Regular picnic table outside would be better. Workers were very friendly

We love staying here!! Always a good stay. This time our glamping tent smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. It was unfortunate but we dealt with it as we could. The air conditioning unit needed cleaned terribly bad. All else was good. Bathrooms are usually clean and pool is usually clean we feel safe there too!

The amenities and the staff are very nice. We stayed in a cabin. There could’ve been some more “deep cleaning” as there were cob webs that were easily removed. The major issues was no hot water. The cabin sleeps 6 and within 2 mins there was no hot water.

It was awesome. Our family had a great time. Lots to do, everything was very clean and nice. My grandkids as well as my adult children and their spouses really enjoyed it and want to come back next summer.

We've stayed in several KOA's and this one was the best by far! Sites were spacious, well maintained and well set up; it was easy to maneuver our fifth wheel around the campground, into our site and out when it was time to leave. It was quiet, clean, the activity staff was friendly and well-spoken - just a pleasure to camp here! Highly recommend it for a night, a weekend, or longer!!

We had a great time here! Stayed for a month and enjoyed the cabin and rv campsite. Plenty of room to walk around and enjoy a nice nature trial. Kids had fun on the jumping pad!
