Great place to camp, no interstate noise, very peaceful. Campsite had full hookups, we love the activities for the kids.

Very nice campground, several things for the children to do. Their pizza is great and delivered to your door. The only problem I noticed was that the laundry room was very dirty, especially the floors; dust bunnies and hair were a long the front of the washers and dryers, I was hoping I wouldn't accidentally drop clean laundry on the nasty floor.

We were just passing through on our way home to California from Ohio. Everyone was vey friendly. I had reserved the wrong site for our motorhome & they suggested a bigger site . Thank you!

Our patio site was very spacious with a nice patio set and BBQ. I texted the office in advance to alert them that our 45 foot super C, had a very wide turning radius and ask for an easy in/easy out site. They reassigned us to a very accessible site before we arrived!!! One of the ladies in the office also gave us some great sightseeing recommendations in Winterset.

Very nice KOA with nice amenities and super friendly staff. Everything is well maintained and very clean. We especially appreciated the nice flat pull-through sites.

KOA’s are my favorite campgrounds every time we travel we will book a koa site no questions about it they have everything needed and at a reasonable price

We only stayed one night but it was a great stay. Easy access from the highway and really welcomed the ability to order pizza once we got there. Clean and friendly facilities.

Clean bathrooms lots of space and patios are wonderful - the white gravel is kind of annoying and gets inside but really the facility and staff were terrific

Nice sized level lots for 43’ MH towing. Good utilities placed well, blazing fast internet, easy satellite reception. Very courteous staff. We enjoyed our week stay very much.

Great campground just off of I-80, but far enough away you don’t hear the traffic noise. Staff is great, friendly, helpful. Pool was closed due to off season but the area looked well kept up. We will stop here again when going through.

One of the nicest KOA campgrounds. The facilities were excellent, our site perfect and my fur babies loved the dog park. Beautiful setting and close to Winterset where we came for a family reunion. Very positive experience.

I’ve stayed at a lot of KOA’s over the years. Everywhere from New Orleans to New York. This to me was the best campgrounds, best staff, and the most courteous. When I’m on the road, KOA has always been the best place for me to stay. This place is number one.

Spacious sites. Friendly staff. Great location for following the Madison County Covered Bridges Scenic Byway. Be sure to visit the John Wayne Birthplace and Museum in Winterset. The state capitol is definitely worth the trip into Des Moines. The only downside is the dust, but that’s everywhere in this area.

This was one of the better KOAs I've been to. The grounds were well kept, far enough off the freeway to be very quiet. Lots to do, including a movie in the pavillion. Office staff was friendly, had an escort to my site, and picked up our garbage every morning. They even made pizza and delivered it. The weather turned very bad one night, and they sent us text updates with directions to the storm shelter. It was very well marked. I've been at campgrounds where I was scouring the map to figure out where I should go during a storm, so this was very much appreciated. I think this could qualify as a resort instead of holiday.

I drove from Central Pennsylvania to Oregon in my truck with my dog. Iowa was just a place to spend the night. I've never really thought of it as a “vacation destination”. It's flat. There are farms. It's looks just like central PA. :). But this KOA was so beautiful. I rented one of the cabins. It looked out on a small pond. It's so quiet here. You don't hear the highway or any road traffic. I stopped here on the way out and the way back. If I had more time I would have spent a few days here. Absolutely beautiful. The sites are clean and well manicured. The grass is lush. The dog parks are in the middle and easy to get to. Staff was friendly. After hours check in was easy. There is a decent grocery store about 10 minutes away.

We'er Full-time RV'ers. We could only stay 6mos at Griffin RV Park and moved here to KOA Holiday and it's awesome! Extremely friendly staff in the Office / Store. Lots of FUN things to do and VERY WELL taken care of! It's a MUST VISIT! Come Camp and Play! More to come! Cheers MAK & Tess 😉
