This was one of the nicest, friendliest most well run KOA’s we have ever stayed at. The staff was well organized and attentive. The bathrooms and showers were spotless all the time. If there was 10 stars and 20 points we would gove them it. Well done

Best so far in three years of camping. Activities great for kids and parents. Staff friendly and very helpful. great entertainment. The extras, ice cream, pizza, wings... good pricing. We stopped on the way north and then again on the way back south.

Wow. Such a nice campground. I will say this was my favorite KOA yet. Clean and well kept. Congrats to the owner and manager.

Clean. Friendly staff. Unfortunately we spent our night next to an RV that had its a.c. Running all night (understandable- it was a hot night). But the noise - I barely slept. Awful. Maybe rv’s in one section and tents in another? It was painful.

It was just an overnighter. Upon reporting in the staff noticed we were traveling with another party and our campsites were a ways away from each other. The staff worked some magic and got us a campsite closer to our traveling companions. I would stay at this KOA again.

The park was nice and the staff were great. But, I paid extra for a deluxe patio site and was placed directly in front of the sewage pond on site 69. The smell was so repulsive we could not have the door open let alone sit on the patio. I feel ripped off. They should discount the sites beside the sewage, not charge more.

One of the nicest KOA’s we’ve been to. Loved the beautiful and plentiful grass and shade for walking our old dog. The large deluxe rv sites were great with the variety of adorondack chairs, eapecially the rocker. The live music on Saturday night was amazing and so nice to listen to from our site. We will definitely stay again when passing through and will recommend to others.

They gave me the wrong map and I tried to open someone else's cabin at midnight and I'm they didn't hear, I finally found mine. The curtains were so see through I had to put blankets up also the cable didn't work and I wanted to fall asleep to tv but I was too tired to deal with it. Probably wouldn't stay here again without I love KOAs. Also a bathroom was too far away from the cabins.

This is a beautifully run, groomed park with spacious camp sites and easy in -easy out. The staff are kind, caring and friendly. The manager went over and above to help solve a rental issue. It’s court with so many amenities that it’s also a perfect place for a ‘staycation’! We definitely would stay here again!

We have stayed here many times and love this place. The green grass, large sites with patios and beautiful pond are always welcome after a long days drive. Another bonus is my husband always orders pizza so I don't have to cook.

We stayed here overnight while traveling across Nebraska. The campground is located about 1.5 miles north of I-80, so most of the road noise you get comes from the road in front of the campground rather than the interstate. Note that you will drive past the southern section of sites to get to the entrance, but don't make the right turn until you come to the KOA sign that marks the location of the office (you'll also see the propane refill tank on the corner). The office door is on the east side of the building, and if you arrive after hours, the overnight reservation box is located just inside the door of the laundry room (rather than being mounted on the exterior of the building). With the exception of a few back-in sites in the southern section, all of the sites are pull-throughs, and every site (back-in and pull-through) has full hookups with gravel pads and grass lawns. The middle row of sites in the northern section are buddy sites with a single extra-wide pad and a set of hookups in the middle of a pad. All non-patio sites have a picnic table, while deluxe patio sites have a concrete patio with two round tables, a fire pit, a grill, and several adirondack chairs. We were in site 62, a regular pull-through site with a pad that was almost as wide as a buddy site and was more than long enough for our 37-foot fifth-wheel and 21-foot truck. The site had no shade tree (most sites do not) but was very level side-to-side. The campground has the usual KOA amenities: a convenience/souvenir store, bathrooms, a laundry room, a pool, a large playground, a jump pad, a mini-golf course, and some lawn games. It also has a Hunt Brothers pizza kitchen, pedal go-carts, a regular basketball hoop, an enclosed play area for some sort of basketball-based game, a "water war" game of some kind, and a stocked fishing lake with two paddle boats. The large dog park is located in the grassy valley between the north and south sections of the park. It's divided into two sections that share a single airlock-style entrance. There is plenty of grass in that valley to walk your dog if both halves of the dog park are occupied, and there's also a walking trail along the fishing lake. In terms of cell service, the best speed I saw on my Verizon Jetpack with MIMO antenna was 25 Mbps down and 24 up, and we had no trouble streaming video. The best speed I saw on my AT&T smartphone with 5G was 302 Mbps down and 20 up.

On our way from Indiana to the Badlands in South Dakota, we stopped at the Des Moines KOA in Iowa for one night. Since we were just looking for a place to sleep, we didn't get to take full advantage of all the amenities available. However, we were impressed by the delivery menu—while I don't recall any healthy options (mostly pizza and maybe wings), it was nice to have the convenience, and the prices were affordable. After we arrived (I believe it was a Saturday evening), we heard music coming from the front of the KOA—possibly a live singer or mini-concert. There were lots of happy people, and plenty of kids riding go-karts and bikes between the parked RVs. Some might not appreciate the lively atmosphere, but if you have kids, this place could be a vacation destination in itself! There's a pool, a huge bounce pad, bike and go-kart rentals, a fishing spot, live performances, and food. It really sounds like a great family spot. For my husband and me, who were just looking for a quiet place to rest, it was perfect as well.
