Campground Reviews

This was our families first time staying (not visiting) at this KOA. The customer service is top notch and our site (Site 123) with a patio area was excellent. We cannot wait to plan a stay there in the near future.

This KOA is great. RV spots are easy to maneuver and an employee escorts you to your site. The pool is wonderful! We stayed during a holiday weekend when restaurants were closed so we tried the Hunt Brothers Pizza they made to order on site. GREAT IDEA! They deliver to your site, you won't be disappointed. It's delicious. The staff was incredible.

Everything was great except for two items. When your maintenance guy mowed the grass at our site, he aimed the discharge chute towards our rig and spread the clippings all over out rug which took some effort to clean. Second. The sewer pipes are WAY too high which makes them higher than my trailer’s sewer outlet. I had to spend twenty minutes “walking” the sewage to the sewer pipe.

Very nice. Only thing woke up by lawn mower before 8 am.

Short 2 day stay but would stay again if we are traveling through this area.

We were really impressed. Our site was level, and the KOA was very clean. Our dog loves the dog park.

This was by far the nicest KOA we've stayed at. Everything looked new and clean, and meticulously maintained. Well layed out; sites were reasonably spaced out. Staff was very courteous and helpful. An amazingly well stocked store. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks for an enjoyable stay.

Great amenities and things for kids to do. Only issue is how small the lot was, most of the lots are very close to other campers units. Otherwise this would have been an easy 4 maybe 5 stars.

This is one of the nicest KOA's we have ever stayed at! Wide sites, excellent access to I-80 and the staff is outstanding. We are planning to return very soon and proud to say this is in our original home state of Iowa.

Very nice and clean campground. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Campsites are good size. There is so much to do for kids, that we didn't even get to do it all during our stay. We will definitely be back again!

we had a wonderful long Labor day weekend stay. all the staff was so friendly and welcoming and so helpful. very nice place to stay with a large family. we loved it

The staff were very friendly and helpful when needed. 2: concerns I had were that we were very close to the next site (could touch their vechile while sitting at table) and the firewood we purchased wasn’t good. We ended up having to purchase a bag of charcoal and lighter fluid & went through both in one night. We ended up driving to Walmart to get fire starter logs to cook our food.

Very well run with plenty of activity for the kids..

Way too crowded bathrooms too far away you’d have to pack lunch to get to it. not a pleasant experience one of those places that you stop and you stay because you have to. It’s convenient you would not go back for a second time.

Very nice, clean and well run. My only complaint is the site we had was cut through to the pond.

In the winter it was cold, but traveling with dogs thisnis much more convenient than a hotel.

We have stayed here many times and love this place. The green grass, large sites with patios and beautiful pond are always welcome after a long days drive. Another bonus is my husband always orders pizza so I don't have to cook.

We stayed here overnight while traveling across Nebraska. The campground is located about 1.5 miles north of I-80, so most of the road noise you get comes from the road in front of the campground rather than the interstate. Note that you will drive past the southern section of sites to get to the entrance, but don't make the right turn until you come to the KOA sign that marks the location of the office (you'll also see the propane refill tank on the corner). The office door is on the east side of the building, and if you arrive after hours, the overnight reservation box is located just inside the door of the laundry room (rather than being mounted on the exterior of the building). With the exception of a few back-in sites in the southern section, all of the sites are pull-throughs, and every site (back-in and pull-through) has full hookups with gravel pads and grass lawns. The middle row of sites in the northern section are buddy sites with a single extra-wide pad and a set of hookups in the middle of a pad. All non-patio sites have a picnic table, while deluxe patio sites have a concrete patio with two round tables, a fire pit, a grill, and several adirondack chairs. We were in site 62, a regular pull-through site with a pad that was almost as wide as a buddy site and was more than long enough for our 37-foot fifth-wheel and 21-foot truck. The site had no shade tree (most sites do not) but was very level side-to-side. The campground has the usual KOA amenities: a convenience/souvenir store, bathrooms, a laundry room, a pool, a large playground, a jump pad, a mini-golf course, and some lawn games. It also has a Hunt Brothers pizza kitchen, pedal go-carts, a regular basketball hoop, an enclosed play area for some sort of basketball-based game, a "water war" game of some kind, and a stocked fishing lake with two paddle boats. The large dog park is located in the grassy valley between the north and south sections of the park. It's divided into two sections that share a single airlock-style entrance. There is plenty of grass in that valley to walk your dog if both halves of the dog park are occupied, and there's also a walking trail along the fishing lake. In terms of cell service, the best speed I saw on my Verizon Jetpack with MIMO antenna was 25 Mbps down and 24 up, and we had no trouble streaming video. The best speed I saw on my AT&T smartphone with 5G was 302 Mbps down and 20 up.
