Employees I interacted with were unfriendly and acted as if they didn’t want to be there. The pool area was great but there were constantly unsupervised large kids playing rough in the main pool and being unsafe on the water park area and on the slides, even with 6 or so teens on one slide at once and not letting small children play. We alerted staff and nothing happened.

Great stay! Facility is so much nicer than it used to be. Only thing I would recommend is to upgrade the picnic tables as they are falling apart at each of the sites. Everything else is in great shape!

The stay overall was excellent. We brought our grandchildren, and they had an amazing amount of fun! They really enjoyed the pool, but they especially loved the jeeps that they could drive. The only problem we had was with the cafe. The pizza took over an hour to prepare, and the kids were very hungry. It was very good once it was done, though.

The site given to us was not conducive to our needs. For a quick overnight stay we did not unhook our vehicle. So to stay within the site we had to pull our unit up which caused us to be too far away to hook up to the dump. We found it to be an odd placement.

Very nice Kampground with lots of amenities. The staff was accommodating and friendly. They made room for an early arrival by one day. If you're traveling in the area it will meet your needs.

The park was nice, people friendly, but the site we had was next to Interstate 25 and the road noise was terrible all night long. We used this as a stop over on our way to texas but unfortunatle, we didn't get the rest we needed for the next day. I would be selective about where in this park I hooked up.

35' class A with Jeep 2 Seniors. Stay here regularly visiting. Very consistent KOA. Friendly, and well managed. Packed with features for kids. Great patio sites along river. Large sites. Convenient to Fountain, Colorado Springs, Pikes Peak etc., historic towns and mountains. Very pet and child friendly. Very nice pool area and play area with wagon rides.

Another good stay. We came in to do the Spartan race at Ft. Carson. I forgot my toothbrush and a wash cloth. I was hoping the KOA store would be able to help. No such luck. Showers were dirty Saturday afternoon. Sunday they were great after the Spartan Race. Would like to have had a bench or more hooks with a dry area to put towel and clothes on. We will continue to use KOA. Thank you

Tons of activities for kids and families. As full as the campground was, it was quiet. Lots of extras available, and a great burger stand.

They do have lots of activities available to families, but the staff was not overly friendly. I also felt that there were not enough bathrooms available considering the size of the campground.

Plenty for the kids to do. They had a blast. Need to get a real slip and slide and put on grass. The plastic sheets and soap was very dangerous for kids along with the step up to the platform to slide. Bathrooms could use an update.

The place is nice and huge. For a place that houses so many vehicles there was a total of three restroom stalls (women’s) amd two showers. There was one other one stall restroom across the park. Just not enough to accommodate that many people. The kids activities, were great.

Been going to this KOA for many years and last year was horrible said I would never come back. Decided to try 1 more time this past memorial day and was quite surprised. Percy & Jamie (Managers) have really changed this KOA into one of the best like it was years ago. The changes they did and are still planning are wonderful. This is our 6th annual Memorial Day trip to this KOA. This trip will be our last. The bathrooms showers were filthy. I’ve never seen a KOA NOT clean the restrooms for days. Also there was a person of interest loitering at the pool that made out family very uncomfortable.

I understand that your cabins offer a rustic feel for a stay, but did not appreciate the "dirty" and "rundown" appearance. I did take pictures of the mold, rot, dirt, and other things that we didn't care for. Overall...our experience was positive, but with just a little upkeep and attention, the next person's will be even better. Thanks for all.

Our stay was great with a couple of exceptions. The bathrooms were not very clean, especially the showers. The bathroom behind the restaurant was disgusting, with old pee everywhere, a visibly dirty toilet seat, and even the sink was covered in dirt. The cleaning log hadn't been filled in for days. We also had an issue with our cabin door, which would pop open every time it was closed.

Really tight. Seemed like there are full timers there or just a lot of kids toys. Everyone has 2 cars and there isn't much room to get in or out. Sites are level. Won't be back.

I recently stayed with my twin boys to have some fun over the weekend. While at the pool security quietly removed a older genteman from the hot tub which is next the pool because he was pleasuring and exposing himself. He quietly asked him to leave then came to reassure me that he was leaving tomorrow. THEN he tells me he was kicked out for the same thing yesterday! NO COPS CALLED. Unacceptable

The water at the water park was cold enough to cause hypothermia. It felt like an ice bath. My kids normally can spend hours at the pool but they we’re done after 10 minutes. Also, the flooring to the water park is so slippery I saw about ten kids fall on their butts/backs in those ten minutes. I even almost fell while walking in to check out the water temperature.

The bathroom and shower was QUITE unclean both in the evening and again in the morning. While they had internet, it was so weak that I was unable to do ANY work while I was there. I generally stay in KOA campgrounds while I am traveling because they are clean and DO have useful internet, this one was a disappointment!! It was convenient for me, but I will be unlikely to stay in this one again!

It was great! I was suprised at the amount of amenities you had even in the basic cabins and around the campground. We were not able to use it due to it being cold but the pool/splash pad area looked like a lot of fun for kids and the rest of the area!

Check in was unorganized. The employee crossed out the space we were told we would have in January and assigned us sites apart from each other. We were told the software is the problem. We have to pay $35 to guarantee to secure a specific. This would have made the daily cost of a space over $75 per night. The value of the sites does not warrant this amount of money. The dog park had no poop bags.

Easy to get into and out. Location had easy access to the freeway and everything we wanted to do was with in 20 minutes drive ( Manitou Springs, Zoo, Pikes Peak) . Staff very friendly and helpful. We will be back.

We were a group of 3 rigs traveling together. Made our reservations back in January for our May stay. At the time we reserved we were given site numbers. Upon arrival, we were all in different sites scattered all over. She rearranged us to be closer together. The whole time we were there , there were 6-7 sites next to each other that stayed open the whole time. Not happy at all.

My husband and I stayed at this campground for 5 nights in our travel trailer with our 2 dogs. The sites are spacious and the campground is really clean. There are lots of activities to keep kids entertained. The campground has a nice trail along the creek to walk the dogs.

Awesome campground to stay at! Far enough away from the city for less traffic, but close enough to everything for about a 25 minute drive! The staff were so friendly and nice. We had water/electric pull thru site for our travel trailer, and everything worked smoothly! Pool and hot tub open year round, many activities, games, crafts, ect. Overall an awesome KOA, we will be back!

Looks like a great place if you have kids. We have dogs and the dog park here got a one star. We didn't use any of the showers or laundry facilities. Our campsite was great, good size, good hookups. We had a deluxe patio site. Located right on the highway but is close to everything Colorado Springs has to offer.
