The park has a lot of amenities, the grounds staff is very nice, but please do better on the landscaping portion. If you’re going to charge a premium, make it look like a premium facility.

We always enjoy this KOA, the water park is awesome and the staff is so nice and helpful!! this time, tho, we noticed that it really needed some TLC. There was trash on the kids playground, the bathroom by the playground was dirty and the building had crumbling bricks. Hopefully it can get some extra help in those areas

As you leave the "red line" check in office and turn left to the big rigs camping pull through sites, the pavement has two large pot holes right in front of the drainage indentation. I don't care if you have the best chassis in the world your RV is going to go through 3 or 4 violent shakes side-to-side. Even though I was going at idle speed things were falling out of cabinets of my 35' Tiffin.

The location is excellent, right next to I-25 south of Denver. The check-in process went well and I appreciated the escort to my campsite. I was disappointed that the electrical connection was at the wrong end of the pull-through campsite, although the maintenance staff loaned me an extension cord when my travel trailer's power cord wouldn't reach the box.

Was a great park overall, site could have been more level. Great place for kids. I did not like the noise from the highway, so if that is a concern for anyone keep that in mind. I loved the sounds of freedom, though (reveille at sunrise at the Academy and firearms training heard in the distance).

We genuinely tried to have a great time, we had been driving the country and we’re happy to have 5 days of peacefulness,we tried over looking the cigarette butts littered around our campsite, the abundance of flies inside our cabin upon arrival, the men’s bathroom flooding ect we were also charged $250 for smoking cigs but neither of us smoke cigs, tried contacting manager and haven’t heard

The sites are ok but the amenities like the pool and cafe need serious updating. The pool looked too small and crowded. I never could tell when/if the cafe was open and it looked like a dump. We should have been told upon check-in about the shooting range sounds.

Large campground, close to water/dam, the area was also close to the freeway. The actual camp sights looked a bit run down, the camp bathroom at the far end of the main entrance could be cleaner. The WiFi was non existent.

Great Stay. Extended twice. Carly was very helpful coordinating the extension so I was able to stay in same spot. Good convenient location. Great swim area, especially for kids!

My family has been going to this location for five years in a row and always had a blast. This year the activities that were previously offered which made the experience exceptional were greatly reduced. We still had fun, the facilities were clean and the staff was friendly. However we will not be returning next year due to the reduction in activities.

We enjoyed our stay overall. There were times when the pool was extremely crowded and other people were not being very considerate of others. My daughter's brand-new googles were stolen off the side of the pool. We wished there were some activities during our stay.

Not pleased that I was required to sign a form giving permission for photographs to be taken or I wouldn’t be allowed to stay there. Other wise the stay was fine

Cabin was very built up dirty in most areas and rented deluxe! Property maintenance around Christmas village was poor. Pool was nice . Speed limit control in campground needs to be monitored. Worried about kiddos riding scooter and ppl driving through fast . Is there way to attach pictures? We had no heat first night and no hot water . We stayed in cabin 36. Guest services was very nice

Check in was easy and a guide took us to our parking space and actually helped with spotting our RV. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The grandkids really enjoyed the activities here. The showers and restrooms could be larger but overall, we had a pleasant experience.

Staff in office very friendly and the park itself is very nice, was disappointed that half of the things in the waterpark did not work and the bubble machine was never on and they never lit a fire in the group fire pit the whole week we were there. Grandson wanted a hay ride but they never ran that either. Talked to staff and they said they are still doing improvements i hope they get it done.

I was staying with my 3 year old grandson. We had a fantastic time, there was so much for us to do. The only downfall was our deck. Part of it was broken and then he got a bad splinter so we had to take a quick trip to the doctor:(

Loved staying there! The pool and Waterpark were a hit with my granddaughter! Location is great! Close to all Colorado Springs has to offer!

Pat was so awesome! We had so much fun at the pool while he was working. Boys' bathroom in back had poop on wall. The lady came to clean women's bathroom in the back with one towel and a spray bottle. She wiped the toilets, then wiped the showers. Definitely not sanitary. We stayed in cabin 15 and there was trash and food on the ground at our campsite when we got there.

Cabin was dirty and not maintained to a high standard. Sheets had other people’s hair on them. Convertible futon was broken in the bed position. I asked for someone to come fix it and no one came. Everything was an additional expense which comes across as them being cheap and stingy. KOA is a large company and should not charge customers for every little thing that other places have for free.

Pool area was great for the kids. Appreciate being guided to our spot but felt pressured to leave the rig parked where the guide suggested. As a result, rig was not even and we had trouble getting the supports out from under the jack when we left because we had to put it up so high. Everything else was fine and we enjoyed our stay.

This is an awesome campground! Mist employees are wonderful. There was so much for kids! Our son had a wonderful time and we will definitely be back. Only downside is the traffic noise and lack of shade for a number of the rv sites.

Staff is the best! Have stayed past 5 years and immediately noticed an improvement in the friendliness and outgoing helpfulness of the staff. Obviously under new management and improvements seem ongoing. A little disappointed in our site # 136 at end of row. Grass area really tiny with table and fire pit right on top of neighboring sewer hookup. That site really should be closed.

It was a great stay, my daughter enjoyed it playing in the pool ,to the bubbles and Santa. We will be staying here again when the time is right.

the staf in the shop and the diner were nice. the beds in the cabin was good. But the camping and the facilities were old, for example the pool and the washingroom. the kidsclub was really poor and not enthousiastic at all. lots of activities did not start at all. the jumpplace was really dirty.

Kids activities were a wast of time, workers kids run unsupervised. maintenance of park is second thought. place is getting run down. would not recommend. no plans to return.

My husband and I stayed at this campground for 5 nights in our travel trailer with our 2 dogs. The sites are spacious and the campground is really clean. There are lots of activities to keep kids entertained. The campground has a nice trail along the creek to walk the dogs.

Awesome campground to stay at! Far enough away from the city for less traffic, but close enough to everything for about a 25 minute drive! The staff were so friendly and nice. We had water/electric pull thru site for our travel trailer, and everything worked smoothly! Pool and hot tub open year round, many activities, games, crafts, ect. Overall an awesome KOA, we will be back!

Looks like a great place if you have kids. We have dogs and the dog park here got a one star. We didn't use any of the showers or laundry facilities. Our campsite was great, good size, good hookups. We had a deluxe patio site. Located right on the highway but is close to everything Colorado Springs has to offer.
