Additionally, in the wake of COVID-19, it is estimated that 15 million Americans decided to go camping for the first time in a long time, or to go on their very first camping trip ever. Arguably, the world of outdoor hospitality is not just something for a small handful or people, but is a driving force in the world of tourism today.
Kampgrounds of America (KOA) is the largest network of independently-owned and operated campgrounds in the world. With over 525 locations across North America, KOA owners are committed to offering exceptional hospitality to travelers, friends and families through tents, recreational vehicles, cabins and unique accommodations (eg. glamping tents, yurts, tress houses, etc.). They also provide amenities such as Wi-Fi, in-ground/heated pools, playgrounds, concierge service and more.
The Coloma/St. Joseph KOA Holiday is a nationally-recognized, award-winning campground within the KOA system. Each year our fun and fast-paced environment now hosts more than 15,000 guests from all over the world.
Each year, we employ high school & college students, and are currently hiring for our 2022 team. Young people who are friendly, outgoing and willing to learn and work hard will excel in our fun, family-friendly, outdoor environment. Making friends with other team members, while developing guest-service skills, and earning money for college, buying a car or just plain fun are all benefits you will find.
The program provides seasonal employment with competitive hourly pay with guaranteed work hours, bonus pay, and training opportunities in all aspects of our operation, including housekeeping, grounds/maintenance, food service, General Store sales and reservations/registration.
