We stayed two consecutive weekend as we were volunteering at the Illinois Railway Museum. The Chicago NW KOA is so convenient and comfortable. It was a pleasure to stay.

we went with our grandkids (9 &7) and it was very fun. The activities on Saturday were great for the kids to do. A severe storm was heading our way and they came around to let us know. The staff was always friendly, answered our questions and was prompt to bring firewood when we requested some. This was our first time camping with the grandkids and it turn out to be a great experience. Thank you

Good site, backed in at #70. Vegetation behind and overhanging our site made it pretty and shaded. No close neighbors were in evidence though this could change with busy periods. Wonderful overall. Dave

The swing on site 62 has at least 3 nails sticking out and 1 board on the back loose. The site was a bit small to fit our camper. It was nice to be near the bathrooms. The activities for the kids on Saturday was good. The pool was clean and well taken care of as was the campground itself. It was quiet and peaceful. I would stay here again.

Great campground and staff. Unfortunately we didn’t get to enjoy much of the amenities on Saturday because of all the rain. Staff was super friendly. The only complaint I have is the dump station. There was no place to hook a hose to do a flush out after dumping.

This KOA was shaded. The pool was great. There was a sense of peace because it was so quiet. We plan to stay here every time we come for business in Chicago. Thank you for your delightful pool and your evident care for the property. We are immensely grateful and look forward to seeing you again.

Beautiful area. Near Chicago but not too near. Lovely train museum and farm stores nearby. Great places for dogs. Friendly people. Beautiful grounds. We didn’t use the amenities much except the laundry room and my husband used the bathrooms. They were all very clean and neat. Only complaint is wifi was non existent. Couldn’t connect at all and we were near the office.

Site was very nice but away from pool, etc. Confused thar the store opens at 3 PM and there is no personal touch. Very nice and secure stop over but not a destination spot.

The stay was nice. Our campsite was huge and very affordable . Close to the playground and facilities. We did run into an issue with a movie we were trying to watch. Quiet time on-line stated 11 pm but we were told to be quiet at 10:15 pm. Meanwhile campers told us we were not loud but we lowered it finished the movie with no other issues. But all in all it was a good visit.

Very friendly people, well kept campground, nice clean laundry facilities, very nice store in office, I liked the security gate system at the entrance. Nicole was very nice and welcoming when we checked in. Only detractor was the water was hard with iron in it? It stained our shower and toilet (which came off with a little elbow grease and good gone). Not a huge deal though/

Our cabin was clean and neat. We only had three forks, but we made it work. The young gal who checked us in was rather rude and abrupt, but later in our stay we met the owner and she was wonderful! They have lots of things for kids to do and seem to address any maintenance problems ASAP. Unfortunately, they were mowing all day and until sun set. That noise put a damper on our evening.

Great place to stay while driving through Chicago to points West. They have nice sized sites, with lots of mature trees, and the pool is a great way to cool down after a long day of driving. This is our second time there, and we will stay there again if ever traveling through the area.

Extremely hospitable staff. Our only need that couldn't be fulfilled was a propane tank exchange, but understand reasons why and they were able to recommend a place that was on our way.

Been coming here over 12 years. Always friendly and attentive staff. Grounds and facilities always well kept. Very family oriented.

We really enjoyed our stay. There is a lot to do. The pool was clean and very nice. The mini golf was well maintained and FREE!! The playground and jump pad were very nice. Our site was spacious, level and clean. We will definitely be back!

A short stay in order to meet some relatives at Ohare airport. Courteous and helpful staff; enjoyed being guided to our site. Site quite adequate for our 45' motorhome and tow vehicle; a pull through to boot! Family friendly place with lots for all to do. Firepit and picnic table at our site.

I did not take part in any of the activities, but there was lots to do. Park was very clean and well maintained. Staff was super friendly and helpful. If I am ever in that area again I will definitely consider staying there.

We had a wonderful stay! The park was clean and very well-kept. All of the activities planned for campers were so fun and our kids loved them. The staff was friendly and accommodating and helpful. We can’t wait to come back!

Very few sites with sewer but the WiFi is terrible. Most coaches are going to Wifi tv’s. Kept dropping. However the staff was awesome. Super nice people and very helpful.

Great location far enough to be in forest, but close to towns around. Will stay again when coming in to Chicago.

The staff are not friendly. They seem over worked and not happy to be there. There is no personal interaction, everything is done by text or email. Even check in Store was never open during our stay. Spots are tight and people are parked all over. We had to back out of a pull through spot. Owners need to check on the place and be aware what is going on with staff.

Very nice campground lots of shade, the only thing is the bathroom (men’s) didn’t have any hand soap and needed cleaning, other than that it was nice.

Very clean campground. Pet enclosures are at many sites. There is a K9 area hidden among the trees. Not all sites have full hookups. They seemed to be randomly placed around the campground. Also there is no cable, so if you are lucky you might get 4 channels . The location of the campground worked for us because we were visiting friends in Cary and Byron Illinois.

Site is very beautifull but we were on a very slanted lot anfmd therefore unable to level the coach. So we were unable to open slides..would you consider a credit for our stay? Thanks

The amenities were good and the staff was helpful and friendly. The camping sites were too close to one another for our liking. We prefer a little more space and having more trees/forestry so we can enjoy the feeling of being in nature. Also being so close to a major road where you could road noise really dampened the experience of being in nature. However we did enjoy our visit.

Staying during the week is totally different than a weekend stay. Next time we will book a weekend stay for our son to have things to do and kiddos to play with. Wish the store would have been open as stated on the sign.

Everything about our stay was great except that our site was very sloped which emptying tanks and leveling out very difficult. But we do love this park.

I love that you are located away from the city but still close enough to local grocery store and restaurants. Owners are so nice. We always have something fun to do while we are there.
