Great one night stay. A little bit on the chilly side so we had a cabin all to ourselves. Owners were very nice and approachable. They checked on us along with their staff to say hi and asked if we needed anything. Will be back here for quick getaway

We had a fantastic weekend, enjoying all of the fall festivities offered. My kids loved the magic pumpkins, the trick or treating and the wagon ride. The location was clean, the staff was very attentive, and friendly. We will absolutely come back again! Thank you!!

We had a fantastic stay! The dog-friendly accommodations were outstanding. From the fenced areas at each site to the off-leash dog park where our pup could socialize, and the walking trails through the prairie and forest, our dog had an amazing time. My three-year-old also loved it! The playground, inflatable jump and the fun Halloween decorations were all excellent!

the staff @ Chicago NW KOA were amazing. Everyone of them friendly and helpful. Sites were a little narrow, but overall in great shape. Weekend activities for kids were fun and plentiful.

I would have rated it a 10 and 5 but the showers could have been cleaner. The toilets and sinks were fine.

We rented the rv. It was very nice, roomy and comfortable. It had everything we needed. Staff was very friendly and welcoming.

My son and I loved our stay in one of the camping cabins. It was very clean and had even more space than we had expected. It was hotter than expected during our visit and the AC plus ceiling fan kept the cabin very comfortable. I found the porch swing to be relaxing. The bathrooms are very close and also kept very clean. We would definitely stay here again on a return trip to the Chicago area.

Enjoyed our stay in the deluxe cabin. The cabin did not come stocked with hand washcloths and only 2 bath towels which were well used. The liquid soap dispenser in the shower did not work. It did have soap in it though. Shampoo and Conditioner dispenser worked. These are the only negatives of our stay.

I enjoyed my stay. Employees were polite when asked something but no one went out of there way to be friendly. The check-in outside was very impersonal. I've never experienced that at any other KOA where I've stayed (at 12 different one) except the Milton, Wisconsin KOA. After hours I can see using that method, but during business hours it's nice to be welcomed personally by a staff member.

The cabin was comfortable and the A/C was really nice on a hot night. The mini-golf was well-kept and nice that it was free. It isn't wilderness camping but a good way to get outside, and an affordable place to stay near Chicago

I checked in Late but everything was ready, my fiance and I rented the double cabin. Which was great because all you have to bring is yourself. And the price was right especially with my KOA discount rewards, I will be back in September, Thank you

People and activities are great. Cleanliness is not. We got the cabin this year and was not impressed. I wiped off the kitchen table and sink area with Clorox wipes. A lot of dirt. We are paying for hotel costs but the cleaning is not up to par. Third year in a row and your places are not kept clean.

We stayed at Chicago Northwest KOA this past weekend with friends. Staff were very friendly and accommodating to our requests and needs. The kids had a great time with all of the planned activities and loved the pool and playground. The facility is very dog friendly so it was nice to be able to bring our furry family member with us. Check in / check out was a breeze. We all had a great time.

Cabin unit we stayed in was full of flies- my son enjoyed an afternoon catching and getting rid of 18 of them (and that wasn’t all). Sink still had food from previous people who stayed in there and garbage can still had food in there as well. The campground is great if you have a dog with all the gated areas for them, but we didn’t have any pets with us. Pool was nice and good safety with gate

It was fine, the campground could use some updates. We were very excited there was a toddler-sized play structure...until we realized it hadn't been cleaned in years and was full of spiderwebs and leaves. The door to the kabin came unhinged the morning we left. The store was only open limited hours so there was no way to quickly get a question answered. On the whole, the place just need some love.

Everything was lovely, the communication, service and accommodations! Please check your grease traps on the grills, the small grill fire was very unwelcome Saturday morning. The staff responded so fast to clean it up. Overall comfy cabins, but the picnic table doesn't have an umbrella so it was too hot to sit outside in the morning sun. There is no shade.

RV was clean/new with linens/pillows provided. The staff was friendly & helpful. There's a cool jumping pillow that our little kid loved, plus a playground & some sand. Shop was small but had necessities if you forgot or didn't feel like heading to the store. Only real issue was the pool, which was cold and a bit dirty for our liking especially w/ young children. Would stay again if in the area.

We love coming to this KOA. The tent/pop-up sites are right across from the giant playground. So we can relax at our site while the kids have a blast.

Cute deluxe cottage, clean and spacious. Our dog also loved running in the open pet area. Very economical. Will reserve again in future.

Not sure how one rates a campground for rooms! I guess maybe if you did the cabins. We did not. Stopped one night on our way to Wyoming and again on the way back. Bathrooms were clean, the small trailer sites were perfect for our needs. Would definitely stay again if passing through or staying to see the sites.
