Our camping trips to koa since the first time we ever came we love it and continue with our family camping trips.

I’m a nomad and prefer rustic camping environments, however, I do have a KOA membership and stay at koa’s fairly regularly for the amenities. I don’t have a shower in my van and, have to say, the bath/shower facilities are first rate! They were sparkling clean and the water pressure was outstanding. Even if you have your own facilities in your RV, I’m confident they aren’t this good!

Site was quite unlevel, we could not get level. LOTS of pit bull dog breeds. We read they were not welcome. I feel the KOA’s should adhere to that rule or eliminate it when it comes to the dog breeds. However we had a nice time and will be back. Hopefully to a more level site.

Loved it. We'll definately be back - Great spots and friendly staff. We don't have kids, but there was plenty to do for them and yet, it was still a peaceful relaxing experience.

We had a lovely pull through site with a patio, a huge firepit, a dining table/chairs and a wooden porch swing. Clean restrooms/showers and ice and firewood delivered to your site are just a few of the great amenities offered here. Although we don't have kids it appeared there were plenty of family activities available on site. This is a beautiful property with a friendly staff. We will be back

We enjoyed staying here, very relaxing. The staff was kind and helpful, with a smile! The site was average sized, very clean, nice grass lawn and lovely flower box, lit up at night! We would surely return if we get back up there from NC again! Comment: some people drive TOO FAST! Hope some way this can be addressed. Thank you for a very happy week with you!

This campground has a really nice layout. The staff there are super nice. And the bathrooms are checked several times a day for cleanliness and stock.

Nice park with dog pens on site which we loved! Sylvia in the office was very nice and accommodating. We would stay again!

Loved the area alot! It wasn't too large of a campground which is appreciated- felt cozy! Loved the walking trail, could be a tad longer though maybe? Will def try to get a prairie view stay next time!!!!

We appreciated the friendliness of staff. the roadway and sites could benefit from some grading, however, our site was level where we needed it to be, and we had a very good stay.

We stayed in the pioneer tent and had a great time. Check in / check out was very easy and the campground was clean and had everything we needed. Hosts were great - we will be back!

The campground was nice, clean and maintained. The store was not opened regular hours although you could text for anything you needed and have delivered which was a nice feature.

Took three day after we arrived for someone to cut the grass which looked like it wasn’t cut in a week. Upon arriving there was trash on the sight and dirty ashes in the fire ring. We have stayed at other koa’s And they clean each sight after someone leaves.

Staff was friendly, helpful and upgraded my site since many sites were empty at this time of year. I can't say enough to indicate how pleased I am with my experience!

Always a warm welcome by the staff at this KOA. Every year Sylvia and Thomas surprise us with new site and camp upgrades. This year was no different with new patio sets on the patio sites. Glad that winter is over and we can finally get back to Kamp!

It is close to Chicago which is what we needed. Sites are too close together. We had a premium spot with swing, picnic table and dog fence. All that filled the space between sites making it crowded. There was a flower planter there and we couldnt open 3 of our bins due to its location. It was dusty. We were near the front so every one coming in had to pass us and made dust. Decided not to cook out

Everything was great. My only complaint, if you want to call it that, is that the bathroom in the middle of the grounds was not heated.

Enjoyed our stay (2 nights). Would prefer concrete or blacktop pads. Site we were on could have been a little more level, but it was ok with some blocks.

The stay was nice and relaxing. Everyone was chearful and helpful. We only wished there was a place to go fishing. We will be back in the future.

I love that you are located away from the city but still close enough to local grocery store and restaurants. Owners are so nice. We always have something fun to do while we are there.
