Cherokee Fishing Tournaments

We have a lot of fishing tournaments going this year for anglers of all ages. Including KOA fishing tournaments with bigger prizes. Please note there is no fishing allowed March 13-28, before the tribe's first tournament.
Cherokee Opening Day Fishing Tournament
Saturday, March 28 – Sunday, March 29
$15 entry fee AND a $17 two-day fishing permit to compete for $20,000 in tagged fish. Tagged fish are stocked for this event, catch and redeem for cash prizes
Cherokee Memorial Day Trout Tournament
Saturday, May 23 – Sunday, May 24
$15 entry fee and $17 two-day fishing permit to compete for $10,000 in tagged fish. Tagged fish are stocked for this event, catch and redeem for cash prizes.
Tim Hill Annual Trout Tournament
Saturday, July 11 – Sunday, July 12
$15 entry fee and $17 two-day fishing permit to compete for $10,000 in tagged fish. Tagged fish are stocked for this event, catch and redeem for cash prizes.
The Qualla Country Trout Tournament
Saturday, September 5 – Sunday, September 6
$15 entry fee AND a $17 two-day fishing permit to compete for $20,000 in tagged fish. Tagged fish are stocked for this event, catch and redeem for cash prizes.
Rumble in the Rhododendron Fly Fishing Tournament
Saturday, November 7 – Sunday, November 8
$300 entry fee for two-person team. Cash prizes totaling $10,000*. Must register by October 5, 2020. Additional details to be announced.
