Went to this KOA to see the eclipse the next day. They were technically closed, but did open for this special event. The staff of Kathy, Donna and Susie (GM) were all there ready to help. Camp store was good. Clean Restrooms and showers. They hosted a kid camper pajama party and cooked grilled hot dogs. Look forward to coming back!

We stayed in the tent area, which is wooded, quiet, and dark, and still near the bath house and other amenities. It was a lovely stay.

Easy check in and out; clean and ample tent site. Friendly staff. It’s a quick overnight for me, as I’m just passing through, and it’s very convenient. It’s nice that I can have my dog with me too.

One of the cleanest, friendly, and spacious camping areas we've visited! Many tent camping spots, with electric and water included. Close to bathrooms, and a hiking trail. Nice lake view area.

Our group had an amazing stay! Something for everyone- we have a popup, others rented a cabin and a glamper- the beds in each were comfortable. Nice bath/shower rooms. Best of all was the extreme friendliness of all of the staff! We will be back :)

The Chautauqua Lake KOA is a wonderful campground. It doesn't "feel" as big as it is - everyone was very friendly. The amenities were wonderful - the bathhouses and public spaces were clean and well taken-care of. We stayed in a more rustic site with water/electric and it was also really nice. We are looking forward to staying again!

Not sure if policies have changed since we’ve been coming here, both Friday and Saturday night people in the tent sites next to us came in and were setting up tents and air mattresses after midnight. Friday was at 12:30am blowing up an air mattress for at least 20 minutes. Saturday night it was at 2am. It was extremely disturbing and inconsiderate

The pool was lovely and warm because it was shallow. It closed early at 7PM though. The bathrooms were nice. The grounds were well cared for, but the electric tent sites down in the woods were not very level and felt not as well cared for. It was quiet. It seemed a place suited to long term seasonal elder residents.

The staff were so incredibly kind and thoughtful. They made us feel right at home. Our time at this KOA site was incredibly peaceful and we will definitely be back!

We visit the Chautauqua Lake KOA a couple times a year. This was another pleasant stay.

Campsite was uneven … should get leveled out somehow … couldn’t find a flat area for size of tent, was also charged for firewood I did not order after I already left

We had a wonderful time camping! We camped Monday-Wednesday and felt like we had the campground to ourselves! The staff members were Amazing, Polite and incredibly welcoming! The pool is where the ranking came into place, it was very shallow 3 1/2 feet and has some type of texture bottom that really scratched up the kids feet. The whole camp is clean and well kept.

We were excited to stay again this summer. the first night we were there the sewage came up through the drain in the closest bathhouse amd all the other toilets in were plugged. We were also told to vacate the property when we stayed an hour past checkout. Our site was cleared out and there was hardly anyone in the pool besides us. We feel the employee who told us to leave was rude. Disappointed.

The only issue we had was that the bathrooms were not cleaned regularly and got pretty filthy also ran out of toilet paper in all bathrooms in the morning. I think they should be cleaned more than maybe once a day especially because of Covid and other diseases.

It's a great campground with really nice facilities and access to the great amenities around Chautauqua. The tent sites were fully shaded and very comfortable. While most sites are for campers, the tent loop was excellent. I do wish the light on site had a switch so it wouldn't light up the tent all night, but draping a towel over it to sleep was effective.

We camped in the tent sites and the kids had the best time! Staff was super friendly and what a gorgeous lake view! I will say the name of the campground was misleading as we thought we would be right on the lake due to the picture on the website. Instead we had to drive and pay to actually go out on the lake.

All was ok, but there was no hot water in the showers at the tent camping bathrooms. A hot shower at the end of the day was the main reason I chose a KOA campground, and I was very disapointed that the water was cool at best.

The location is huge and gorgeous. The playground, mini golf, basketball courts etc could use some maintenance and sprucing up. The app says there is a new playground…either it’s aged poorly or we’re using the word new lightly. The staff are so kind and fun. The tent sites are off on their own, well shaded and super cozy.

Every one on staff was exceptionally helpful. The campground site was beautiful and incredibly quiet! We stayed in a cabin as heavy thunderstorms were predicted and arrived in the morning.

Bathrooms were very clean. Lots of activities for kids. Two maintenance issues: the bricks bordering the put put golf area need to be secured down and the bottom of the pool needs a good cleaning.

My husband and I arrived on Sept 29. Very nice woman came out and escorted us to our spot, which was perfect. Electric, sewer and water were available and there was enough room for two vehicles. Roadways were easily navigable. The gated aspect (which includes a card to enter) is a great idea. When you leave, you just drop the card in the 'drop box. The campground was well tended. No complaints! Very reasonable, too!

My husband and I requested a lake view site and we were not disappointed. The hills on one side and the lake in front of us, it was gorgeous. The staff was very friendly and made you feel welcome right from the start. The grounds were very well kept. We will definitely go back.
