Dog Policies

CURRENT RABIES VACCINATION DOCUMENTATION IS REQUIRED for ALL DOGS, in order to comply with local and state guidelines.  Please bring a paper copy with you when you check in so we will have a copy on file. We welcome your well behaved dogs. Be SURE to keep your dog on a controlled leash no longer than six feet, and do not leave your dog unattended anywhere in the park, except inside your RV.   You and your dog will enjoy Kamp K9 as a fun place to play. Remember it is a dog's playground, so children entering Kamp K9 must be with their dog and a parent.  Of course, no matter where you are in the park, all dog waste must be picked up immediately.  Any guest not picking up will be asked to leave.  Pets are welcome in some cabins. They must be registered, and a daily $10 pet fee will apply upon check in. You are responsible for damages done by your pet.

Firewood Policy

We can not accept any firewood into our park that is not dry kiln and prepackaged. This is due to the infestation of insects that are killing our beautiful trees. It is highly recommended by all regions in New York to NOT transport firewood from place to place or area to area.  Thank you for following this request.  We do not allow cutting or gathering of any firewood or brush on the property without permission from the campground staff.  Please feel free to order firewood through the camp store, and we will deliver it to your site during our regular store hours, 8 am to 8 pm daily.

Units & People Per Site

You must be at least 21 years of age or older to book a site or cabin.
Only 1 sleeping unit per site is allowed. (no tents on the same site as a camper or R.V.)
The site fee is for 2 adults & 2 children per site (additional adults and children will be charged a visitor fee, up to the max of 6 people total per site)
For more than 6 people, an additional site will be required.

visitor policy

Visitors are welcome to join you at your site after obtaining a day or night pass.  A per person fee is payable at the office at the time the visitor arrives.  All visitors must stop at the office and register.  Please advise your visitors in advance so they will be prepared. We will assign parking. There is a limit of 6 persons per site including the registered campers. If more than that is expected, an additional site will be required.  Day visitors should exit the park by 10 pm, and overnight visitors should exit by 3 pm the following day.

Pool Policy

Our pool is available from 11 AM to 8 PM Monday thru Saturday and 11 AM to 5 PM on Sundays for registered guests only.  A lifeguard does not supervise the swimming facilities at Chautauqua Lake KOA.  Instead, we have a monitor, mainly as a second adult. This facility has established a series of safeguards to be followed by all guests.
As per New York State requirements, a minimum of TWO adults must be present whenever this swimming facility is in use. NEVER SWIM ALONE! There is no substitute for adequate supervision.  All swimmers must sign in at the registration office, and children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.  Children who wear diapers must wear swim diapers. There is to be no running, pushing or horseplay, and because of our pool depth, no jumping or diving into the pool.  Do not remove furniture from the pool deck.  Please keep food, glass containers, and pets OUTSIDE the pool gate.  Also, smoking and alcoholic beverages are not allowed at the pool.
