We really enjoyed our stay for the 4th of July week! There were a lot of things nearby to do (i.e. Breweries, Comedy Museum, Midway Amusement State Park). It was very hot, and your campground was able to continuously provide adequate power to run our AC unit. WiFi was quite adequate. Wish there was a second pool near the back of the campground and/or an adult pool.

It was a nice clean campground. We loved renting the golf cart. We were disappointed it wasn’t on the lake. That’s the reason we came there. We wanted to fish. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Thanks!

we always love staying here but the seasonal guests are getting out of hand thinking they run the campground. constantly yelling at kids and other guests on how the place is run. this is a family campground and a koa but the seasonal guests act like they own the place.

Pretty good. Although no water pressure Sat or Sunday morning. Front restrooms were pretty dirty. And Wi-Fi signal was weak, made it hard to watch TV. I understand it was a busy 4th of July weekend. I'd still come back.

Our site was really far from everything you pay for at a KOA - pool, games, camp store, lake view. It was a long walk with a special needs child just to swim. No golf carts available. I called to ensure we would be able to see fireworks months before our stay and was told - oh yes you can see them pretty well over the lake- we saw nothing. Kept our 8 yr old up until 10:00 pm only to see nothing.

Everyone at check in was super friendly and helpful! Escort to our site which is especially helpful as the campground is huge! We took advantage of the pool as the weekend was so hot ! We played mini golf and participated in a beer tasting event. The live band wasn’t what we like so we didn’t stay long for that . Loved the patio we had at our site and the peek of the lake across the street

Something changed since our last stay, and not in a great way. At check-in the staff seemed upset that we bought our small boat with us to enjoy at Long Point SP. General Manager seemed bothered when we checked-in as she rudely said, "let me drop what I am doing and go take them to their site". Had water pressure issues during our entire stay. Other campers had no power or Wi-Fi issues.

All staff were very friendly. Maintenance pumped up our bicycle tires and the property was very clean. We would go again and recommend to others.

Sites were wide open for short term. Great if you are towing a vehicle. Well kept but no lake access and pool was very far from our spot. Lots of permanent single wides.

Everyone at the Chautauqua KOA is friendly and very helpful. Our Truck needed to jump for the battery and somebody from the office came right away to help us out. We will be coming back soon.

Chautauqua Lake KOA was one of the nicest campgrounds we have ever stayed at. We loved the spacious camp sites, and we never felt like we were on top of our neighbors. The grounds are well kept and neat. The park is about a half mile wide. Water pressure was great and I understand the owners went through great lengths to provide good water. Great stay and will definitely use them again.

Great site with a view of the lake! Well maintained! Great instructions upon arrival! Would definitely stay here again! We really enjoyed the National Museum of Comedy!!

Enjoyed another return trip to Chautauqua Lake KOA Holiday! This year recommended the KOA Patio sites to our relatives. They rented an RV for their camping experience, and we had a wonderful stay in 2 sites together!! Staff was very friendly and helpful.

For the first 23 hours, we had no power & no internet. On day 3 (Saturday), we were across from a permanent site which had a work crew, tearing off and replacing a damaged roof and listened to power tools cutting sheet metal throughout the morning and into the afternoon. We were not told at check in that there was no power, (despite the office later indicating they told me). No offer of discount.

Our stay was unfortunately not a great experience. For the first day and a half of our trip, the campground had no power or water. While I understand that the outage was beyond the campground’s control, it was disappointing to pay the full cost of our stay without access to the basic amenities we expected and without any compensation or refund offered.

Great campground in a great location. Lots of activities for young and old. Staff was helpful and knowledgeable of local area. Nice playgrounds and the heated pool was clean and enjoyable. The washrooms were cleaned throughout the day. Looking forward to coming back next year.

We mostly used this campground to rest and reset. We did visit Bemus Point one day. The office staff were super friendly. Gave us lots of good advice. There’s a cute amusement park very close to the campground.

1 of the nicest campgrounds around, Sue ,Anthony and thier team are top notch . They go out of their way to make sure your stay is memorable , we've been here twice already this year and the season has just started Highly recommend

What a wonderful campground. Staff were friendly and helpful. Sites were spacious. Short distance to Westfield for shopping. Lake Erie was only 15 miles away. We'll stay there again.

This location was like paradise! The view was incredible , the site was well maintained and the employees ESPECIALLY Susan GIles ! Susan was welcoming , friendly and very funny ! She made our stay even nicer! We would definitely take that long trip back to this KOA because of these reasons!

We came by to check out future campsites and the campground was already closed, but we talked to a man named Anthony that was extremely helpful and informative, and not only did he take his personal time, but actually took my wife and I on a golf cart tour, knowing we drove over an hour to come there. I wish more people were like this kind man, which makes me want to camp there even more so. Thanks Anthony, we really appreciate it! Dave and Kathy

Camped here the weekend after Labor Day Roomy sites, very clean and the grounds are well kept. We would stay here again. We visited Niagara Falls (American side) and also Bemus Point and Jamestown

Update: We have stayed here almost every Labor Day weekend since our initial visit. This last time in 2026 we stayed in the Eagles Nest 3 bedroom cabin. Overall we were very happy and will be going back every year. Now that I have grandkids I just wish there were a few more activities for the younger kids during holiday weekends. We were here over Labor Day weekend (Fri-Mon). We stayed in L02 the cabin with no bathroom. We were very pleasantly surprised by the cabin it was very spacious and probably the best "basic" cabin we've stayed in at any KOA (we've been to quite a few). It had heat/AC, cable TV, mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. My minor complaints about the cabin were: the heat didn't work very well it took awhile for it to actually heat up (it was chilly at night), one window facing a glamping tent was missing a blind (but thankfully we didn't have neighbors), the bed was kinda hard to get out of without killing your thighs on the wood framed box and last I wish it had a Keurig instead of the old school coffee maker (I brought my own so wasn't a huge deal). This cabin is literally right next to the bathroom and shared kitchen space. I really loved the shared kitchen and wish more KOA's did this. There was a sink for dishes and two separate 4 burner cook tops in a nice screened in area with electricity. My one complaint about it was it had a really off putting smell which I'm guessing was either the trash in there or someone put something gross down the drains. The bathrooms were a little disappointing. They were pretty small with a toilet & shower in each. The shower didn't have a curtain so everything got soaked when you showered. The hot water was good however. It seemed they only cleaned them once a day and they were kinda dirty, but again not the worst I've seen and not really the fault of the KOA. The staff was super friendly and overall we really really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back soon. The area is beautiful and it's definitely a "lake town" setting.
