Susan and Anthony are the most wonderful people. Susan check in and so very helpful. Anthony land scape- the grounds were just beautiful, but he helped me get settled into my cabin. Very kind and friendly. The cabin was immaculate, well stocked and quite comfortable.

The house was dusty. Not visibly, but i'm allergic and woke up during the night and had a swollen throat in the morning. Then I looked and saw dust bunnies under chairs. I did appreciate the sofa bed mattress that was hard enough to support my back. That helped a lot. It was quiet and provided the kitchen we needed. Someone responded immediately upon an inquiry. Staff friendly.

This was the first time we stayed in one of the lodges at this KOA. It was clean and comfortable. Had all the things we needed in the kitchen and bathroom. Just had to take food and clothes. Good stay.

Our stay was was not the best. I disappointed in the condition of our cabin. To start off i couldn’t use our shower because of the freezing cold water. I am disabled, hygiene is very important to me. The entire stay the HVAC system was not operating properly. It was 86F degrees me and my boyfriend were so hot. Even opening the windows did not help. Some of the propane grill burners did not work.

The campsite is truely beautiful. The managers are very thorough and accommodating. The RV we stayed in was perfect except the mattress was incredibly soft and nor great for old people.

There is plenty to keep you busy and lots of fun. The only bad thing was that our Eagles Nest Cabin had a bee nest in the wall near the kitchen window. We were not told about it. When we entered the cabin, we saw dead bees on the window sill and floor. We later discovered that there was a live nest near the window. Our grandson was stung the second day while at the cabin. KOA should have told us.

It was just an overnight, but we found the campground very well maintained. We were in a safari tent. The bed was terrific. We both liked it a lot. I could definitely stay a whole week & be quite happy. Wish we would have had more time to enjoy ALL the amenities. Hope to be back sometime.

We were looking for a quick getaway for a couple of days and didn't want to go too far. Chautauqua Koa was perfect for us. It was clean, quiet and relaxing and we were able to fish. We look forward to coming back. Thank you for your hospitality.

Very nice spacious cabin. Had a lot of amenities in cabin. Cabin could have been cleaner in areas including cob webs. We will be back sometime soon.

We were greeted by a very professional staff. In fact Susan was just fantastic and her husband Anthony was so pleasurable to talk to. The campground staff was so very helpful and so so very professional. The campground was very clean. The pool was nice and clean and the restrooms along with the showers were very clean. My family truly enjoyed the stay and will be coming back.

Bathrooms near glamping tent not clean. Plunging needed. Quiet hours not enforced. Children without parents at pool. Walking trail not clearly marked near makeshift lean to. Wi- fi did not work.

The staff were kind and helpful. The organized events made it special for the kids. Everything was clean - from our glamping tent to common spaces to the pool. We loved watching sunset by the pool with the lakeside view. We will be back next year and look forward to making this trip a family tradition.

The campgrounds were lovely and didn't seem too crowded. Susan and Anthony were excellent hosts. We stayed in the glamping tent with our 2 kids. It was so cute and clean. We will definitely be returning.

Due to weather is had no power in my cabin for 2 days. Spoiled all my food. The staff was very nice and helpful. It seems to be a bit outdated. The golf course wasn't maintained, the swings had weeds growing all over and the pool was not warm despite it saying that it was a heated pool online.

We had a great time! Everyone was friendly and helpful. Relaxing atmosphere and quiet. So close to all the fun of Chattaqua Lake too! This was our first time staying at a KOA. Wake up go fishing and then off to explore the lake. We booked another stay later in the season too! I can't wait to come back and my daughter can't wait to come back and jump on the bounce pad once again!

My husband and I glampa lot, and this experience was very underwhelming. The tent had no lights, which was not anticipated. Also said it had a partial kitchen and the pictures showed more than what we got. We brought food with us, and it all went bad because we had no way to cook it Besides a grill and it was raining. Overall, just a lackluster experience, but not bad. Campground itself was great.

We stayed at Chautauqua Lake KOA last year and found it so beautiful and welcoming that we specially arranged a trip this year to make sure we got to stay there again! We enjoyed an amazing sunset over the lake, extremely friendly and helpful service from the office, and a lovely campfire at our "clamping" tent. We will definitely be back!

The 3 Bears "cabin" (mobile home) we rented was great. It was spotlessly clean & comfortably furnished. We enjoyed the huge porch, comfy table & chairs, & propane grill, as well as the fire pit area. The campground itself was beautiful & well maintained, & the bathhouse was immaculate. Campground staff were friendly & helpful. We'll be back!

Mouse dropping everywhere in the rental: Counters, table, windows ledges We had a second child with us, we are foster parents and often get kids last minute, when we asked for an extra towel you would have thought we had stolen something from the campground: there's only suppose to be two adults and one child why would you need a fourth towel? Our June stay was magical, this felt very off

The cabin we stayed in was very spacious. However, the furnace was very loud. There were 2 dehumidifiers running when we entered, which did not help with the musty smell. It seems the space could use an upgrade to the flooring and trim. Otherwise, it was comfortable. Our family had a great time outdoors, which is the reason we went! The staff was excellent and friendly. Everything was very clean.

The campground was very quiet, and our cabin was cozy and warm. The staff is friendly and helpful. Just a couple of suggestions for improvement: Consider replacing the mini blinds and bathroom ventilator fan.

The employees were all very nice and friendly. The glamping tent we stayed in was big and clean. The park was well kept. Prices were fair. The only down side was we were there 2 days and on day one the pool was closed most of the day. Day 2 the splash pad was not open and my kids were pretty sad about that. Otherwise we did enjoy our stay.

Grounds and playground beautiful. Staff super friendly. We stayed in Deer cabin, D-01. Better descriptions are needed as to what is included. Like utensils, toasters, coffee maker etc. The Queen bed mattress is lumpy and dips in the middle. The couch needs to be updated. Air conditioners need to be cleaned!

The place was clean and beautiful. So much for the kids to do! I really did love it, however, it lacked a diverse array of campers and unfortunately my family felt very out of place. Many people were nice, but more were not and the bad outweighed the good.

We came by to check out future campsites and the campground was already closed, but we talked to a man named Anthony that was extremely helpful and informative, and not only did he take his personal time, but actually took my wife and I on a golf cart tour, knowing we drove over an hour to come there. I wish more people were like this kind man, which makes me want to camp there even more so. Thanks Anthony, we really appreciate it! Dave and Kathy

Camped here the weekend after Labor Day Roomy sites, very clean and the grounds are well kept. We would stay here again. We visited Niagara Falls (American side) and also Bemus Point and Jamestown

Update: We have stayed here almost every Labor Day weekend since our initial visit. This last time in 2026 we stayed in the Eagles Nest 3 bedroom cabin. Overall we were very happy and will be going back every year. Now that I have grandkids I just wish there were a few more activities for the younger kids during holiday weekends. We were here over Labor Day weekend (Fri-Mon). We stayed in L02 the cabin with no bathroom. We were very pleasantly surprised by the cabin it was very spacious and probably the best "basic" cabin we've stayed in at any KOA (we've been to quite a few). It had heat/AC, cable TV, mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. My minor complaints about the cabin were: the heat didn't work very well it took awhile for it to actually heat up (it was chilly at night), one window facing a glamping tent was missing a blind (but thankfully we didn't have neighbors), the bed was kinda hard to get out of without killing your thighs on the wood framed box and last I wish it had a Keurig instead of the old school coffee maker (I brought my own so wasn't a huge deal). This cabin is literally right next to the bathroom and shared kitchen space. I really loved the shared kitchen and wish more KOA's did this. There was a sink for dishes and two separate 4 burner cook tops in a nice screened in area with electricity. My one complaint about it was it had a really off putting smell which I'm guessing was either the trash in there or someone put something gross down the drains. The bathrooms were a little disappointing. They were pretty small with a toilet & shower in each. The shower didn't have a curtain so everything got soaked when you showered. The hot water was good however. It seemed they only cleaned them once a day and they were kinda dirty, but again not the worst I've seen and not really the fault of the KOA. The staff was super friendly and overall we really really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back soon. The area is beautiful and it's definitely a "lake town" setting.
