Another great stay at Chautauqua Lake KOA. There's so much to do both in the park and close by. The sites are spacious and the park is clean and quiet. Everybody on the staff always has a wave and a greeting for you. We always enjoy our time here.

If it weren’t for the seasonal people staying at the campground our time would have been priceless with our family. But since they can’t mind there own business we don’t recommend coming here as your being watched

This campground is very well kept; bathrooms are always clean as well as the grounds. Staff is friendly and helpful. The views are outstanding.

My husband and I glampa lot, and this experience was very underwhelming. The tent had no lights, which was not anticipated. Also said it had a partial kitchen and the pictures showed more than what we got. We brought food with us, and it all went bad because we had no way to cook it Besides a grill and it was raining. Overall, just a lackluster experience, but not bad. Campground itself was great.

I had made reservations back in May and requested a specific site, it was already booked so I took another site then called a month or so later and asked if that site was available that I requested. They said it was available now and I could move by site, however I could pay an extra $20.00 to "lock" it in and someone else won't get it. I asked how that made sense if I was reserving it now? no ans

We stayed at a patio site and loved it!! Was able to have plenty of firewood delivered directly to our site! The staff was so friendly and helpful!! Can’t wait to come back again!!

We always love our time at Chautauqua! This time, however, we did notice dog droppings on our friends site and in the area along Tyler Rd where folks walk their dogs. Maybe a "puppy pot" with bags in the Tyler Rd field would help? Hopefully, this was just an oversight on the owners part and not deliberate!

This is one of our favorite KOAs! The staff is great! We had to cancel/reschedule several stays there this way due to health problems and they worked with us to make everything perfect! We highly recommend Chautauqua Lake KOA!!!

We love going to Chautauqua Lake KOA. Staff is always friendly and helpful. The camp has a beautiful view of the lake which offers stunning sunsets! It was a great time enjoying cider and IPA sampling from Southern Tier Brewing and listening to live music from the Earl Wallace band. Sitting around the campfire afterwards with friends capped off a wonderful stay.

We stayed at Chautauqua Lake KOA last year and found it so beautiful and welcoming that we specially arranged a trip this year to make sure we got to stay there again! We enjoyed an amazing sunset over the lake, extremely friendly and helpful service from the office, and a lovely campfire at our "clamping" tent. We will definitely be back!

Only stopped for 1 night but first impressions were great , staff was friendly and helpful , campsite was lovely. Big campground with many seasonals but i ll be back to check out the area next time.

KOA was clean, staff was helpful when asked about even simple things like TV Channels, places to eat etc. Also staff was always seen in the campground, working or just riding around. That gave us a sense of safety! Activities were simple but a lot of fun! Limited golf cart traffic and no cabins was awesome!! All of the permanent site residents we spoke with were great!!!

The 3 Bears "cabin" (mobile home) we rented was great. It was spotlessly clean & comfortably furnished. We enjoyed the huge porch, comfy table & chairs, & propane grill, as well as the fire pit area. The campground itself was beautiful & well maintained, & the bathhouse was immaculate. Campground staff were friendly & helpful. We'll be back!

Mouse dropping everywhere in the rental: Counters, table, windows ledges We had a second child with us, we are foster parents and often get kids last minute, when we asked for an extra towel you would have thought we had stolen something from the campground: there's only suppose to be two adults and one child why would you need a fourth towel? Our June stay was magical, this felt very off

The campgrounds and facilities are incredible!! Beautiful views of Lake Chautauqua. The restroom/shower and laundry facilities are VERY clean. Lots of things to do at the campground and the area around the KOA has unlimited areas to explore and visit! Definitely coming back!!!!!

Only bad thing was the site. It’s on a hill and the sand/gravel gets everywhere after it rains. Other than that the staff and everything else was great!

We came by to check out future campsites and the campground was already closed, but we talked to a man named Anthony that was extremely helpful and informative, and not only did he take his personal time, but actually took my wife and I on a golf cart tour, knowing we drove over an hour to come there. I wish more people were like this kind man, which makes me want to camp there even more so. Thanks Anthony, we really appreciate it! Dave and Kathy

Camped here the weekend after Labor Day Roomy sites, very clean and the grounds are well kept. We would stay here again. We visited Niagara Falls (American side) and also Bemus Point and Jamestown

Update: We have stayed here almost every Labor Day weekend since our initial visit. This last time in 2026 we stayed in the Eagles Nest 3 bedroom cabin. Overall we were very happy and will be going back every year. Now that I have grandkids I just wish there were a few more activities for the younger kids during holiday weekends. We were here over Labor Day weekend (Fri-Mon). We stayed in L02 the cabin with no bathroom. We were very pleasantly surprised by the cabin it was very spacious and probably the best "basic" cabin we've stayed in at any KOA (we've been to quite a few). It had heat/AC, cable TV, mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. My minor complaints about the cabin were: the heat didn't work very well it took awhile for it to actually heat up (it was chilly at night), one window facing a glamping tent was missing a blind (but thankfully we didn't have neighbors), the bed was kinda hard to get out of without killing your thighs on the wood framed box and last I wish it had a Keurig instead of the old school coffee maker (I brought my own so wasn't a huge deal). This cabin is literally right next to the bathroom and shared kitchen space. I really loved the shared kitchen and wish more KOA's did this. There was a sink for dishes and two separate 4 burner cook tops in a nice screened in area with electricity. My one complaint about it was it had a really off putting smell which I'm guessing was either the trash in there or someone put something gross down the drains. The bathrooms were a little disappointing. They were pretty small with a toilet & shower in each. The shower didn't have a curtain so everything got soaked when you showered. The hot water was good however. It seemed they only cleaned them once a day and they were kinda dirty, but again not the worst I've seen and not really the fault of the KOA. The staff was super friendly and overall we really really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back soon. The area is beautiful and it's definitely a "lake town" setting.
