I was charged $36/$50/$50 each day for my group. We did violate number of cars, parking on the grass, plugging in an EV on day 1. We acknowledged and complied the rest of the week. I called and spoke to GM, and no grace was afforded. We will not be back every again - by far the worst KOA. Lastly, there were open spots all over the campground on Friday and Saturday night. What does that say?

Large park, gravel sites, some roads paved, mis of full time and transient sites. Two entrances but only dump station is at the front. Space between sites, clean park, game area in need of update/upkeep, clean laundry. Friendly staff. Our site was uneven. Water pressure and electric good. Picnic table and firepit at sites.

Nicely maintained, friendly and helpful staff. A bit complicated to navigate to from the interstate. Combination seasonal mobile home park and actual campground. Pretty/nicely landscaped FHU Patio sites. The negative is that you need to navigate through much of the seasonal sites to get to them. While a pretty area and nice campground . . . not a fan of the combination use case.

Everyone we encountered was efficient, friendly and polite. The campground was very clean, quiet and well maintained. Highly recommend a visit.

We have been coming to this KOA for about six years and we always stay at the patio sites in section K. I feel bad for all the dust that is created when people drive around that loop especially the seasonal sites that have to put up with it all the time, people like us that stay and leave with our RV, dusty and their vehicles dusty. The poly furniture on that site needs power washed badly.

Nice KOA, lots of activities. Clean and well stocked restrooms. Lots of "long term" spaces and tight squeeze through the park to get to our spot, but we made it safely. No dumpster at the exit area, only dumpster was at the entrance, not convenient, but not a huge deal. Overall beautiful KOA and lake area.

Had a great time and loved our site. The only thing I feel could use some improvement is the showers. I don't like that the shower doesn't have a curtain and it's just all one open room, which can leave a person feeling exposed. Also, it seemed like there was no cold water, only hot or really hot water. Not very desirable when the temps are in the 90's to begin with. Regardless, we'll visit again!

We needed a home base to sleep while exploring during the day. Chautauqua Lake KOA fit the bill.

We really enjoyed our stay for the 4th of July week! There were a lot of things nearby to do (i.e. Breweries, Comedy Museum, Midway Amusement State Park). It was very hot, and your campground was able to continuously provide adequate power to run our AC unit. WiFi was quite adequate. Wish there was a second pool near the back of the campground and/or an adult pool.

It was a nice clean campground. We loved renting the golf cart. We were disappointed it wasn’t on the lake. That’s the reason we came there. We wanted to fish. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Thanks!

we always love staying here but the seasonal guests are getting out of hand thinking they run the campground. constantly yelling at kids and other guests on how the place is run. this is a family campground and a koa but the seasonal guests act like they own the place.

Pretty good. Although no water pressure Sat or Sunday morning. Front restrooms were pretty dirty. And Wi-Fi signal was weak, made it hard to watch TV. I understand it was a busy 4th of July weekend. I'd still come back.

Our site was really far from everything you pay for at a KOA - pool, games, camp store, lake view. It was a long walk with a special needs child just to swim. No golf carts available. I called to ensure we would be able to see fireworks months before our stay and was told - oh yes you can see them pretty well over the lake- we saw nothing. Kept our 8 yr old up until 10:00 pm only to see nothing.

Everyone at check in was super friendly and helpful! Escort to our site which is especially helpful as the campground is huge! We took advantage of the pool as the weekend was so hot ! We played mini golf and participated in a beer tasting event. The live band wasn’t what we like so we didn’t stay long for that . Loved the patio we had at our site and the peek of the lake across the street

Something changed since our last stay, and not in a great way. At check-in the staff seemed upset that we bought our small boat with us to enjoy at Long Point SP. General Manager seemed bothered when we checked-in as she rudely said, "let me drop what I am doing and go take them to their site". Had water pressure issues during our entire stay. Other campers had no power or Wi-Fi issues.

We were greeted by a very professional staff. In fact Susan was just fantastic and her husband Anthony was so pleasurable to talk to. The campground staff was so very helpful and so so very professional. The campground was very clean. The pool was nice and clean and the restrooms along with the showers were very clean. My family truly enjoyed the stay and will be coming back.

All staff were very friendly. Maintenance pumped up our bicycle tires and the property was very clean. We would go again and recommend to others.

Bathrooms near glamping tent not clean. Plunging needed. Quiet hours not enforced. Children without parents at pool. Walking trail not clearly marked near makeshift lean to. Wi- fi did not work.

Sites were wide open for short term. Great if you are towing a vehicle. Well kept but no lake access and pool was very far from our spot. Lots of permanent single wides.

Everyone at the Chautauqua KOA is friendly and very helpful. Our Truck needed to jump for the battery and somebody from the office came right away to help us out. We will be coming back soon.

We came by to check out future campsites and the campground was already closed, but we talked to a man named Anthony that was extremely helpful and informative, and not only did he take his personal time, but actually took my wife and I on a golf cart tour, knowing we drove over an hour to come there. I wish more people were like this kind man, which makes me want to camp there even more so. Thanks Anthony, we really appreciate it! Dave and Kathy

Camped here the weekend after Labor Day Roomy sites, very clean and the grounds are well kept. We would stay here again. We visited Niagara Falls (American side) and also Bemus Point and Jamestown

Update: We have stayed here almost every Labor Day weekend since our initial visit. This last time in 2026 we stayed in the Eagles Nest 3 bedroom cabin. Overall we were very happy and will be going back every year. Now that I have grandkids I just wish there were a few more activities for the younger kids during holiday weekends. We were here over Labor Day weekend (Fri-Mon). We stayed in L02 the cabin with no bathroom. We were very pleasantly surprised by the cabin it was very spacious and probably the best "basic" cabin we've stayed in at any KOA (we've been to quite a few). It had heat/AC, cable TV, mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. My minor complaints about the cabin were: the heat didn't work very well it took awhile for it to actually heat up (it was chilly at night), one window facing a glamping tent was missing a blind (but thankfully we didn't have neighbors), the bed was kinda hard to get out of without killing your thighs on the wood framed box and last I wish it had a Keurig instead of the old school coffee maker (I brought my own so wasn't a huge deal). This cabin is literally right next to the bathroom and shared kitchen space. I really loved the shared kitchen and wish more KOA's did this. There was a sink for dishes and two separate 4 burner cook tops in a nice screened in area with electricity. My one complaint about it was it had a really off putting smell which I'm guessing was either the trash in there or someone put something gross down the drains. The bathrooms were a little disappointing. They were pretty small with a toilet & shower in each. The shower didn't have a curtain so everything got soaked when you showered. The hot water was good however. It seemed they only cleaned them once a day and they were kinda dirty, but again not the worst I've seen and not really the fault of the KOA. The staff was super friendly and overall we really really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back soon. The area is beautiful and it's definitely a "lake town" setting.
