This KOA is wonderful! The employees are honestly the best! We go to alot of KOAs and the employees really do go out of their way to make you feel welcomed! Susan the manger is AWESOME! Sh e REALLY should be acknowledged for her hard work and dedication! The park itself is very clean and spacious! The pool is clean and relaxing , the view while in the pool is spectacular !

The campsite is truely beautiful. The managers are very thorough and accommodating. The RV we stayed in was perfect except the mattress was incredibly soft and nor great for old people.

Lovely park, our 2nd stay & we’ll be back again next yr. Nicely landscaped. However, traffic speed in the park is out of control. We were in site N-7 & downhill traffic (incl golf carts) simply roared by, one truck in particular had to have been going 20 mph - we wondered if he/she wld be able to make the curve at bottom of hill. Crazy. Speed bumps wld be a good idea along that stretch.

There is plenty to keep you busy and lots of fun. The only bad thing was that our Eagles Nest Cabin had a bee nest in the wall near the kitchen window. We were not told about it. When we entered the cabin, we saw dead bees on the window sill and floor. We later discovered that there was a live nest near the window. Our grandson was stung the second day while at the cabin. KOA should have told us.

We love the RV park but noticed something not as nice as it was in the past. We stayed on site W8, the site could have used more gravel for there was areas with alot of dirt and mud. Also notice flower beds around the park were not kept up, had alot of weeds growing in them.

We stayed there for six nights on a great site. Very quiet people were very friendly. Our awning broke and the front desk gave us a number to call somebody and he fixed it so all around a great KOA.

Loved the campground. Lots of room between the sites. The only reason I didn't give a better rating was that camp rules were not enforced. One in particular. We abided by the rule that no outside firewood was allowed only to see the site across from us brought LOGS cut into lengths and SPLIT THEM at the site. If you have rules, enforce them or get rid of them. KOAs all do this.

from the time we entered to your building we were met with professionalism that made us feel welcomed. the lots were spacious and very accommodating. easy access to enter and leave the property. thank you for a wonderful time

First, the staff were super friendly. We pulled in and the staff seemed overburdened. We had to wait 10 minutes after checkin to get an escort even though our site was within line of sight of the entry gate. Our site was in an area of semi-permanant sites which made us feel a bit awkward in the area. The site was small and kind of oddly laid out, but everything worked and no major complaints.

We left a day early because we didn’t sleep due to loud people driving through the tent camping area and being extremely loud. This happened starting around midnight and continued past 2am.

We stayed at a tent site. It was roomy and quiet, very nice. It was our first stay there and we enjoyed it and the friendly staff. We may plan another trip with a longer stay.

We had a really great stay! All the staff very nice and helpful. Great amenities, very clean facilities. My kids had a wonderful time at the pool and playground. We will be making a return trip.

We arrived with no reservations, I won’t do that again, after the office was closed. The manager opened the office and found a spot for us close to the dog park. The manager and her husband were extremely helpful. Good sized dog park. Gravel spot but level. us to our spot and were very nice.

Only stayed for one night traveling thru. Park is very crowded and has no appeal. Too many trailers packed in. It was fine for one night.

Our campsite was nice and level. The playground was loved by my granddaughters . All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Christmas in July weekend was fun A great place to camp.

Everyone was friendly and polite. Overall stay was quiet and relaxing. One change would be to put garbage at exit as well as at the entrance. Will go back again.

Great Staff! Very helpful. A couple things that were slightly discouraging were the sites could be more level and the water pressure gets sketchy at times. Other than that, we enjoy staying at your campground and will most likely be back again in the future.

It was just an overnight stay on our way through so we did not use amenities so much. We did walk around and all seemed well.

It was just an overnight, but we found the campground very well maintained. We were in a safari tent. The bed was terrific. We both liked it a lot. I could definitely stay a whole week & be quite happy. Wish we would have had more time to enjoy ALL the amenities. Hope to be back sometime.

We were looking for a quick getaway for a couple of days and didn't want to go too far. Chautauqua Koa was perfect for us. It was clean, quiet and relaxing and we were able to fish. We look forward to coming back. Thank you for your hospitality.

Campground great. Staff awesome! But we did experience a crabby camper who screamed at us for walking thru a campsite. We were trying to find the walking trail. Walked along the tracks of golf carts to opening in trees (no camper on site) when he screamed at us for being disrespectful. Later, other campers came out to apologize to us, welcomed us to campground, and said he didn’t represent KOA

Very nice spacious cabin. Had a lot of amenities in cabin. Cabin could have been cleaner in areas including cob webs. We will be back sometime soon.

We came by to check out future campsites and the campground was already closed, but we talked to a man named Anthony that was extremely helpful and informative, and not only did he take his personal time, but actually took my wife and I on a golf cart tour, knowing we drove over an hour to come there. I wish more people were like this kind man, which makes me want to camp there even more so. Thanks Anthony, we really appreciate it! Dave and Kathy

Camped here the weekend after Labor Day Roomy sites, very clean and the grounds are well kept. We would stay here again. We visited Niagara Falls (American side) and also Bemus Point and Jamestown

Update: We have stayed here almost every Labor Day weekend since our initial visit. This last time in 2026 we stayed in the Eagles Nest 3 bedroom cabin. Overall we were very happy and will be going back every year. Now that I have grandkids I just wish there were a few more activities for the younger kids during holiday weekends. We were here over Labor Day weekend (Fri-Mon). We stayed in L02 the cabin with no bathroom. We were very pleasantly surprised by the cabin it was very spacious and probably the best "basic" cabin we've stayed in at any KOA (we've been to quite a few). It had heat/AC, cable TV, mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. My minor complaints about the cabin were: the heat didn't work very well it took awhile for it to actually heat up (it was chilly at night), one window facing a glamping tent was missing a blind (but thankfully we didn't have neighbors), the bed was kinda hard to get out of without killing your thighs on the wood framed box and last I wish it had a Keurig instead of the old school coffee maker (I brought my own so wasn't a huge deal). This cabin is literally right next to the bathroom and shared kitchen space. I really loved the shared kitchen and wish more KOA's did this. There was a sink for dishes and two separate 4 burner cook tops in a nice screened in area with electricity. My one complaint about it was it had a really off putting smell which I'm guessing was either the trash in there or someone put something gross down the drains. The bathrooms were a little disappointing. They were pretty small with a toilet & shower in each. The shower didn't have a curtain so everything got soaked when you showered. The hot water was good however. It seemed they only cleaned them once a day and they were kinda dirty, but again not the worst I've seen and not really the fault of the KOA. The staff was super friendly and overall we really really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back soon. The area is beautiful and it's definitely a "lake town" setting.
