First time stay. Enjoyed the campground and really liked our site. It was nicely landscaped with flowers and had some great extras like a glider seat and Adirondack chairs I wasn’t expecting

Great campground. The tent site was large and well-maintained. The bathroom/shower facilities were kept clean. The staff was great!

We have been camping for an annual trip for about 7 years in a row now. Love your campground! Just a couple things noticed this year wanted to bring to your attention. The pool could use an upgrade, multiple tiles missing and just looked a little unkept. Also the bathrooms have a sign on them that they are cleaned twice a day. We were there for 5 days and only saw them cleaned twice.

The KOA staff was very friendly and helpful. Bathrooms were clean and accessible. Our pull-through site was gravel and very limited, as most were, with shade. Overall, nice campground and convenient to many of the Chautauqua amenities.

This campground is very well kept. Landscaping is beautiful, bathrooms are very clean and new. The staff is very friendly. Highly recommend this location.

Very friendly people and nice campground. They came and warned us about winds so our awning wouldn't get damaged. I can't give 5 stars since they do not have a cafe or some other amenities as other KOA Holiday campgrounds do. We had a premium pull thru spot and the sewer was uphill. Made it hard to dump. We will return; this is not our first visit either.

Thank you so much to Michelle and Victoria who helped us when one of us was having serious breathing problems after a walk. We needed to get her inhaler from the RV quickly and they helped us with a golf cart ride to and from the campsite and the camp office. They stepped up without hesitation and with such splendid friendliness when they saw that one of us was in distress,

Perfect campground for any age but truly wonderful for a family with toddlers/younger children! Between the pool, playground, jump pillow, etc our family really enjoyed being here rather than stressing out. The bathroom/shower area was nice and clean, the park was overall gorgeous and well taken care of, and the staff was incredibly kind and also helpful. Already booked another stay in August!

We’ve been staying at this KOA for 4 summers now. Every thing is always clean and well taken care of. However I’m not sure what has happened lately if it’s new management or what, policies seem to have changed our last 2 stays have had people come in to set up at 10pm and 1am which is a terrible disturbance. And there has been a high increase of rowdy aggressive dogs that do not get addresse

Everything I experienced was great. My only displeasure is with the $50 for a tent site, with no water or electricity. The staff people were nice and the reservation process was easy. Thanks.

We are glad we had a smaller RV and a site under trees close to the office. Our stay would not have been as enjoyable if we had been in the lower sections without trees. We were disappointed that the pool depth was only three feet. This was the only opportunity during our trip to swim, which was difficult due to the depth.

I had ridden my bike over 50 miles that day and had a campsite booked. When I checked in, Sandra immediately offered me a bottle of ice cold water and made me feel so welcome! Sandra and Gary were also so nice when I upgraded to a canvas tent after I realized it was going to rain. They were just so incredibly kind and friendly!

Very nice and clean campground. My only issue is that there are not enough trash bins. And nothing at the back exit. If you have smelly trash outside the pick up time you are out of look.

Customer service was great. Area was nice. People were loud after hours and always a lot of dogs barking. Owners can’t control their barking dogs.Wind storms are terrible in that area. Would camp again but in different spot.

Excellent resort snd expensive. Had a peek a boo view of the lake. If the past was concrete and level I would rate it a 5 star.

We had a wonderful time at Chautauqua Lake KOA! They were kind and accommodating when we had to call and ask to come a day earlier due to losing water and electricity at a campground a few hours away due to a storm. The sites were spacious and provided an amazing view of the sunsets each night! We would definitely recommend this campground to others!

Loved the size of the site, peaceful, and clean. Staff were courtesy and friendly. Only request would be a nature trail from the bottom of the campground to the top.

We came by to check out future campsites and the campground was already closed, but we talked to a man named Anthony that was extremely helpful and informative, and not only did he take his personal time, but actually took my wife and I on a golf cart tour, knowing we drove over an hour to come there. I wish more people were like this kind man, which makes me want to camp there even more so. Thanks Anthony, we really appreciate it! Dave and Kathy

Camped here the weekend after Labor Day Roomy sites, very clean and the grounds are well kept. We would stay here again. We visited Niagara Falls (American side) and also Bemus Point and Jamestown

Update: We have stayed here almost every Labor Day weekend since our initial visit. This last time in 2026 we stayed in the Eagles Nest 3 bedroom cabin. Overall we were very happy and will be going back every year. Now that I have grandkids I just wish there were a few more activities for the younger kids during holiday weekends. We were here over Labor Day weekend (Fri-Mon). We stayed in L02 the cabin with no bathroom. We were very pleasantly surprised by the cabin it was very spacious and probably the best "basic" cabin we've stayed in at any KOA (we've been to quite a few). It had heat/AC, cable TV, mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. My minor complaints about the cabin were: the heat didn't work very well it took awhile for it to actually heat up (it was chilly at night), one window facing a glamping tent was missing a blind (but thankfully we didn't have neighbors), the bed was kinda hard to get out of without killing your thighs on the wood framed box and last I wish it had a Keurig instead of the old school coffee maker (I brought my own so wasn't a huge deal). This cabin is literally right next to the bathroom and shared kitchen space. I really loved the shared kitchen and wish more KOA's did this. There was a sink for dishes and two separate 4 burner cook tops in a nice screened in area with electricity. My one complaint about it was it had a really off putting smell which I'm guessing was either the trash in there or someone put something gross down the drains. The bathrooms were a little disappointing. They were pretty small with a toilet & shower in each. The shower didn't have a curtain so everything got soaked when you showered. The hot water was good however. It seemed they only cleaned them once a day and they were kinda dirty, but again not the worst I've seen and not really the fault of the KOA. The staff was super friendly and overall we really really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back soon. The area is beautiful and it's definitely a "lake town" setting.
