On two occasions, I found toilets clogged with feces. It was disgusting. The main criticism I have is that no KOA staff ever (in the 4 weeks we were there), never ever patrolled late at night. Our first week, there were 4 -- four -- cars parked at the neighbor's campsite and they were LOUD. They tied up their dogs to the tree next to our kitchen window and their dogs barked and barked.

Campground seems more like a permanent residence park, garbage disposal not located in camping areas. Not suitable for short term stays

We enjoyed our stay at the campground. I would recommend one improvement. There are no showers with a seat to sit while taking a shower. It would be nice to have for people with disabilities.

Great campground. Campers need some etiquette lessons. It was Labor Day Weekend so assuming some were amateurs and not simply rude and inconsiderate.

John and the manager were very nice. The pool is very tiny dominated by permanent residents.need a second pool. Bathroom need ADA hose and chair

stayed at one of the lower patio sites. Like the bottom part of the campground. Nice large sites not on top of each other. Will definitely come back

We stayed in the tent area, which is wooded, quiet, and dark, and still near the bath house and other amenities. It was a lovely stay.

Easy check in and out; clean and ample tent site. Friendly staff. It’s a quick overnight for me, as I’m just passing through, and it’s very convenient. It’s nice that I can have my dog with me too.

We have stayed here 6-8 times in the past few years. It's one of our favorite places. For the most part the staff is friendly and we like being close to the lake. The place was almost empty this last weekend and for some reason we ended up on the smallest site with a 42' camper which didn't make any sense but overall we are happy and would recommend.

One of the cleanest, friendly, and spacious camping areas we've visited! Many tent camping spots, with electric and water included. Close to bathrooms, and a hiking trail. Nice lake view area.

Just an over nighter. 2nd time here. Like the CG even though most campers are seasonals. The travelers are separated with good separation between sites. The water/elec/sewer/cable/WiFi were all good. Site was a little low on the right side, but not far off. Staff inter action was as good as could be. Quiet place, no R/R or highway. It is a bit of a drive from either I90 or I86, but not excessive.

Campground was clean and easy to get to. Roads in park are tight but manageable. Prices in camp store seemed high. We buy a magnet or sticker at every campground we stay at but not here, $8 for a small magnet, no thanks. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay here again, convenient to many local attractions and restaurants.

Our group had an amazing stay! Something for everyone- we have a popup, others rented a cabin and a glamper- the beds in each were comfortable. Nice bath/shower rooms. Best of all was the extreme friendliness of all of the staff! We will be back :)

They now once again pick up your trash. This certainly makes it so convenient for us weekend visitors. Lady at front desk very polite and friendly.

Very nice campground. Huge lots. Staff very friendly and helpful. Bathrooms should be a model of all KOAs. The push button shower is a slick idea.

We had an enjoyable stay at the Chautauqua KOA. Our dog loved running around off leash in KampK9 (both of them). The campground was extremely clean, thanks to the diligent workers making sure things were perfect! Loads of amenities to enjoy. We had really nice transient and seasonal neighbors. It was a great trip and we will return next year for sure.

We enjoyed a relaxing stay at this beautiful campground. The staff was welcoming and friendly, and the grounds and facilities were well-maintained. We are looking forward to our next visit.

We stayed two nights in August (43-foot 5th wheel toy hauler). Super friendly and helpful staff. Facilities were nice; appreciated local products in the store. Lovely location. Lots to do in the area. Surprised to discover a small village of primarily seasonal/long term residents on site. Sites are packed too close; available short-term sites presented difficult angles for big rigs.

The Chautauqua Lake KOA is a wonderful campground. It doesn't "feel" as big as it is - everyone was very friendly. The amenities were wonderful - the bathhouses and public spaces were clean and well taken-care of. We stayed in a more rustic site with water/electric and it was also really nice. We are looking forward to staying again!

We really enjoyed this campground! The grounds were clean and well kept and the staff was very friendly and professional. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The staff was courteous and helpful. Our site Y01 was nice. The water, electric and sewer all worked well. The only complaint we have is there either needs to be a dumpster in the lower section or trash needs to be picked up on days other than the weekend. We left on a Monday and had to take our trash with us since we didn’t want to get charged or take the hike to the front gate.

We have loved your campground and this stay was #5! Staff is friendly and helpful and campsite is fun to walk our dogs. Garbage policy was not a one friendly on this year. We don't mind throwing our trash out but having no dumpster walkable and no pick up was not ok for the price of your sites. We understand staff shortages but having a dumpster close to the lake sites would have helped.

Well kept campground, large sites , pool, full hook ups, close to lake. Nice little towns all around area.

Just camped here for the night at a tent site. The sites were spacious and wooded! The staff were exceptionally friendly and my kids loved using the pool. I would 100% recommend this KOA.
