We stayed one night passing through and Susan was great on getting us checked in and directions to our site. We enjoyed our stay,walked around to check things out and left by 11 am the next morning.everything was good �

Awesome KOA!!! Beautiful views, clean and manicured sites. Friendly professional staff! Strongly recommend staying at Chautauqua Lake KOA for your vacation or while traveling through the area. We WILL be back again!

This is a beautiful campground with a very friendly and helpful staff. Everything was clean and well maintained. Some spots even have an awesome lake view! We'll be back!

The campground and location get 4 stars in my opinion. The campground was lovely and well taken care of and the people were great! However, our cabin had some issues that seem like they could have been avoided. Our shower did not drain and the main queen bed was broken. We did let the staff know and they ‘made a note’ so hopefully the next campers have a better experience!

We love the Chautauqua Lake KOA! The staff is so friendly and helpful. There is so much to see and do in the area. And if you're a fan of fall camping, as we are, there is less hustle and bustle then you would find during the summer season. It was a perfect time of year for us to visit!

Staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a mix of permanent park homes and trailers and rental sites. Everything was well kept and clean.

The staff and facility were great . We have stayed there multiple times and always had a good time . I was able to get in with my fifth wheel camper but the drive in is tight in some areas .

We had a very nice stay. We feel the shower/ bath rooms could use an update. The glamping tent we stayed in could have been set up so they are not sharing common space with fire ring and picnic tables. The tents are awesome, loved the seats on the porch area. Bed very comfortable. Gravel in area was great! Staff awesome. Beautiful view of the lake. Quiet at night. Thank you

Enjoyed lounging in the pool with our friends. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Campsite was clean and inviting. Have stayed here before and enjoy coming back.

We enjoyed our stay at the Dewitteville KOA. It was a rainy, windy day weekend. Our camper we rented was very nice. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a minor issue with the camper and it was fixed promptly.

We enjoyed our stay here. The staff was friendly and very helpful! It’s a nice added perk being escorted to your site! There is a lot to do in the surrounding area. I would recommend this campground to my friends!

The area is lovely and the amenities at the park seemed to be plentiful. The bathrooms were cleaned daily, and were large. We were disappointed that the office was supposed to be open until 8 but was closed at 7.45 when we arrived. The site was gravel and mud and the only other campers were immediately next to us when lots of sites were empty. We had requested a grassy site upon booking.

We really enjoyed the campground and the views but the pool needs work done as tiles were missing. The amenities were nice and the staff was friendly and helpful.

The campground was very well managed and operated. Nice lots and easy to get around. Clean restrooms. Everything well attended to. Lovely KOA. Will be staying here in our way back home.

This is our second year staying at your KOA. Everyone was very nice and professional. Few issues: Some activities that were posted for the weekend didn't happen (Karaoke, live band) The pool was dirty, and the blinds in the cabin we stayed in still had broken blinds from last year. But overall we were happy !

The campgrounds were very clean, spacious and convenient to area attractions. Only downfall was the campers at w2 behind us had three large dogs. The owners allowed the dogs to urinate and defecate all over their site. We couldnt open our trailer windows due to the odor. They also left an unattended fire smoking day and night. You should not put campers without pets & children with ones that do.

When we arrived on Friday the smell near our campsite was very septic. At first I thought maybe somebody had just spilled some. Saturday all day was getting worse Sunday it was unbearable and made my woman and I and kids gag. Monday they finally pumped out the tank. You could not even go outside the smell was horrific. We were impressed with how friendly and helpful the staff were. The grounds were clean and beautiful, with plenty of family activities. The most positive camping experience we’ve had at a private campground. We will be back!

We normally like state parks but it was full so we chose KOA. We don’t use their many amenities so find the price too high. But we should have tried the state park earlier.

We came by to check out future campsites and the campground was already closed, but we talked to a man named Anthony that was extremely helpful and informative, and not only did he take his personal time, but actually took my wife and I on a golf cart tour, knowing we drove over an hour to come there. I wish more people were like this kind man, which makes me want to camp there even more so. Thanks Anthony, we really appreciate it! Dave and Kathy

Camped here the weekend after Labor Day Roomy sites, very clean and the grounds are well kept. We would stay here again. We visited Niagara Falls (American side) and also Bemus Point and Jamestown

Update: We have stayed here almost every Labor Day weekend since our initial visit. This last time in 2026 we stayed in the Eagles Nest 3 bedroom cabin. Overall we were very happy and will be going back every year. Now that I have grandkids I just wish there were a few more activities for the younger kids during holiday weekends. We were here over Labor Day weekend (Fri-Mon). We stayed in L02 the cabin with no bathroom. We were very pleasantly surprised by the cabin it was very spacious and probably the best "basic" cabin we've stayed in at any KOA (we've been to quite a few). It had heat/AC, cable TV, mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. My minor complaints about the cabin were: the heat didn't work very well it took awhile for it to actually heat up (it was chilly at night), one window facing a glamping tent was missing a blind (but thankfully we didn't have neighbors), the bed was kinda hard to get out of without killing your thighs on the wood framed box and last I wish it had a Keurig instead of the old school coffee maker (I brought my own so wasn't a huge deal). This cabin is literally right next to the bathroom and shared kitchen space. I really loved the shared kitchen and wish more KOA's did this. There was a sink for dishes and two separate 4 burner cook tops in a nice screened in area with electricity. My one complaint about it was it had a really off putting smell which I'm guessing was either the trash in there or someone put something gross down the drains. The bathrooms were a little disappointing. They were pretty small with a toilet & shower in each. The shower didn't have a curtain so everything got soaked when you showered. The hot water was good however. It seemed they only cleaned them once a day and they were kinda dirty, but again not the worst I've seen and not really the fault of the KOA. The staff was super friendly and overall we really really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back soon. The area is beautiful and it's definitely a "lake town" setting.
