Campground is clean and welcoming. Site was ready on arrival. Staff was welcoming and informed us of weekend activities. Saturday night was a great finish to our stay with live music and a representative from Southern Tier Brewing doing beer tasting. Only negative was internet went out on our last day of stay but cell signal was adequate so not really an issue.

We really enjoyed our stay at the campground! The pool was great, the grounds were well-kept, and the staff was super friendly. We loved the site we stayed at and will most likely be back again!

Loved the campground and want to come back. Assisting us with after hours check in was appreciated. Showers were clean and so was the park and all staff. Only slight issue was with a tent there was no flat spot to put it. We slept on angles on our air mattresses, made sleeping a little less easy, same with our site was all sharp rocks, no grasses or dirt area. We will be back though! Thank you

This is a great KOA campgrounds. We stayed for two nights, perfect level sites, sites spaced nicely, good wifi and cable TV. Very clean, new restrooms and showers. The owners and management were some of the friendliest Ive met in 6 years of RV’ing.����� great store too with a great variety of.

Beautiful area and the campground was well taken care of with activities for families and fun excursions within 10 minutes in either direction. Quiet evenings for campfires with a nice lake breeze to stay comfortable. We booked a patio site and it was worth the upcharge to have a swinging love seat by the fire and comfortable round table with 4 chairs.

Site was very nice but I have never stayed at a campground that was so noisy. A lot of permanent sites with lawn mowers going, power washing, trimming, shoveling stone all day long. The firewood bought at the store was terrible and smoked which was disappointing because it was expensive. Showers have push button water and hard to control water temperature. There was a fight at the pool very sad.

Beautiful camp! Susan, the General Manager, and Joe (the welcoming committee) are great! Our site was spacious; plenty of room for our 40 ft. fifth wheel w/4 slideouts. We stayed in section K. Laundry room was A+, pool looked very nice, grounds were beautiful. Thank you.

Our 2-night stay was great! We were very happy with the site for our 13' Scamp, it was shady and the fire pit was in a great spot. There are a lot of permanent camps, which we didn't mind, but just as a heads up: if you're looking for a rustic campground, this isn't the spot for you. All of the staff members were super friendly and helpful. Facilities were clean and well-kempt. Pool is awesome!

This is a beautiful and well maintained campground. If you want a restful stay near the lake, this is the place! Super clean restrooms, nice pool and picnic area from which you can get a view of the lake from. All of the campsites seemed easy to pull or back into. Many thanks to Susan, the General Manager, and her husband Anthony for making us feel welcome. We will definitely stay here again.

Just returned from a very enjoyable stay at Chautauqua KOA. Sites are well kept and the bathrooms are large and very clean. Staff is friendly and helpful.

We stayed with family there. It was a great place. The tent sites were far apart that we could have our own space and yet be close to the bathrooms. We had a little one (7 year old) and she loved the pool area and the water slides. It was a blast staying there.

Overall good stay. The yurt we stayed in was very clean. I would suggest trying to look at your policies for late arrivals. This was our second stay here, and both times we had issues with very questionable people arriving to stay near us after the office was closed. This time, the couple that stayed in the yurt next to us the 2nd night was clearly actively using drugs and kept coming to our site.

Beautiful grounds! Spacious sites! Friendly and considerate staff! This is our favorite KOA and not because we are seasoned Full Timers. The days were so relaxing in the atmosphere the staff has created. If we return to the lands East of the Mississippi we will put them at the top of the list to see again!

It was wonderful! All of the KOA's that we stayed at during our 2 week journey out to the western portion of the US (aside for one in OK that had a massive bug in the bathroom). The Glamping Tent at Chatauqua Lake was a first-ever experience for our family, and rounded off nicely our vacation. It was our final destination before heading home, and it did not disappoint! Thanks so much!

When we arrived we weren’t in the cabin we thought we had booked. The lady checking us in(I don’t remember her name) and Boyd were very helpful and accommodating. They showed us the cabin we were in which was more than we needed then showed us a new spot, E7. We were able to stay in there and even though it was a cold rainy weekend we had a great time! That was our 2nd stay there.Will be back!

From the moment I arrived at the campground the hospitality was astounding, I was greeted when entering the reservation building with a genuine smile, offered coffee (it was fantastic) and shown the route to my cabin. The facilities are extremely clean and very surreal, between the landscape and the attentive staff I will definitely be back as soon as possible.

Very accommodating. We forgot to turn off our water when we left so I called and they were able to run over. We so appreciate it. Thank you. But what I don’t get is that when I booked, it said there was only 1 spot left and the place was half empty. ���‍���

Staff was very friendly and helpful. We have a long coach and tow car setup and the hosts went out of their way to ensure everything worked out.

We came by to check out future campsites and the campground was already closed, but we talked to a man named Anthony that was extremely helpful and informative, and not only did he take his personal time, but actually took my wife and I on a golf cart tour, knowing we drove over an hour to come there. I wish more people were like this kind man, which makes me want to camp there even more so. Thanks Anthony, we really appreciate it! Dave and Kathy

Camped here the weekend after Labor Day Roomy sites, very clean and the grounds are well kept. We would stay here again. We visited Niagara Falls (American side) and also Bemus Point and Jamestown

Update: We have stayed here almost every Labor Day weekend since our initial visit. This last time in 2026 we stayed in the Eagles Nest 3 bedroom cabin. Overall we were very happy and will be going back every year. Now that I have grandkids I just wish there were a few more activities for the younger kids during holiday weekends. We were here over Labor Day weekend (Fri-Mon). We stayed in L02 the cabin with no bathroom. We were very pleasantly surprised by the cabin it was very spacious and probably the best "basic" cabin we've stayed in at any KOA (we've been to quite a few). It had heat/AC, cable TV, mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. My minor complaints about the cabin were: the heat didn't work very well it took awhile for it to actually heat up (it was chilly at night), one window facing a glamping tent was missing a blind (but thankfully we didn't have neighbors), the bed was kinda hard to get out of without killing your thighs on the wood framed box and last I wish it had a Keurig instead of the old school coffee maker (I brought my own so wasn't a huge deal). This cabin is literally right next to the bathroom and shared kitchen space. I really loved the shared kitchen and wish more KOA's did this. There was a sink for dishes and two separate 4 burner cook tops in a nice screened in area with electricity. My one complaint about it was it had a really off putting smell which I'm guessing was either the trash in there or someone put something gross down the drains. The bathrooms were a little disappointing. They were pretty small with a toilet & shower in each. The shower didn't have a curtain so everything got soaked when you showered. The hot water was good however. It seemed they only cleaned them once a day and they were kinda dirty, but again not the worst I've seen and not really the fault of the KOA. The staff was super friendly and overall we really really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back soon. The area is beautiful and it's definitely a "lake town" setting.
