Our site was patio - tiles were cracked and rundown. The patio itself was not level making it hard to level the trailer stairs for the door to close. There were sand fleas or mosquitoes that bit us all weekend. The neighbors were also having a major get together. There were kids yelling, screaming and running around all day into the evening. The pool was cold and shallow, not meant for adults.

The site had no tree cover making our stay extremely uncomfortable. The price was too high for this accommodation. The wifi was extremely poor. We actually left early

The sites were perfect set of sun and shade. The staff was very helpful and the facilities were exactly what we needed to enjoy our vacation.

Very family oriented which is great. Very clean. Campers were really nice. Dogs are permitted and dog owners are very responsible of their pets. They pick up after the dog has done its business, Personel at the office are very professional and pleasant. Unfortunately, we had to leave a day earlier. I was having heart issues due to the very warm weather. It is our intention to come back.

We had a very nice stay at the Cardinal KOA. Clean campground. Washrooms and showers are always super clean. The swimming pool was crystal clear. Staff are very quick and efficient. Campers are quiet, friendly and respectful. Only one complaint - bags of garbage containing things that should be recycled. The KOA provides many bins and makes recycling very easy. Sad it’s going to the landfill.

Lots of positives, like the VR room addition. A couple of things that could change - 1. Bring back charging to site like before - this is a big thing for us and our kids. 2. Pool could have been a lot warmer. 3. Wood is waaaay to expensive. $15 per bundle, come on??

Campsite was clean. Hookups for power and water were easily reached. The lack of a sewer hookup was an inconvenience. The pedal cars seemed to be a big hit with the campers. I thought that the price of firewood was pretty high. Very family oriented campground with lots of things for the kids to do.

The campground was an excellent spot for our young children! We would've liked to see more selection in the store. We were disappointed with the wait time for the fry truck - small fry and poutine took 1 hour. Rather than chopping potatoes on the spot, pre-cut fries or prepped ahead of time would've made this much smoother. Mini golf and bikes should be included in camping fees.

Very well managed, easy booking everything went very smoothly! Very clean!! I would suggest adding a pool for adults though. Current pool too packed with kids to swim and not deep at all.

This is our favourite KOA (it's also the closest one). We stay here at least 3-4 times a summer. It's got lots of activities for the kids, Halloween is super fun, heated pool and splashpad and toilets/showers are always clean. Wifi is terrible - but you shouldn't want it for camping anyway!!

Smelt sewage in different areas and power went out

Thank you for your feedback. The power outage was due to a Hydro One issue beyond our control. We Found no ongoing sewage issue and received no other reports, but we take all concerns seriously and continue to monitor. We hope to welcome you Back.

We always have a blast and we will be back but some notes would be : inflatable slide should be hosed off at least a bit ( it was pretty gross), firewood was pricey for the small amount of kindling you get and we wish the movie was earlier-kids are exhausted by 9:30pm. Overall we love KOA

Site was in a quieter area which was nice. Unfortunately that is all that was positive. Owners need to take a look at Sault St Marie.We had come from there and they are a class act- worth the money’s worth. Cardinal had plumbing issues in Ladies Room-man was in our bathroom working! Olivia was pleasant/helpful but didn’t give anywhere near the service level of St Marie. Not worth high price pa

Great for kids to ride around on bikes and play with no worries, parents are able to relax knowing kids are safe but are free to roam. Bathroom facilities and showers nice and clean. Friendly staff.

Well Cardinal KOA has outdone themselves again - they added a VR experience!! State of the art machine for 4 riders and lots of options from candy world to zombie encounters - my kids lost their minds!! So much fun!! We will be back in a few weeks, can't wait!!

Everything was fine on our overnight stay, the internet connection could be better, weak at best at our site. Otherwise this KOA is fine with good amenities and a nice pool, we are staying again on our return.

Beautiful and well kept campground. Canada Day fireworks were excellent and very impressive. Have stayed here many times and will be back. Like the upgrades at the dump station as well. Thank you!

Site beside us had people up way past curfew, laughing, drinking, swearing, so much so we couldn't enjoy our campfire. The firepits between the 2 sites are way to close. The amenities were not as promised on the website. Wi-Fi- nope, book exchange - nope, clean bathroom stalls - nope Little disappointed to tell the truth and we are frequent users of other KOA.

We were happy with our stay and had an enjoyable experience overall. Pros: * The cabin was clean and well-maintained. * The heating and air conditioning worked very well. * The cabin was well-equipped * The recreational facilities and activities organized for children were fantastic and very engaging. * The staff were very friendly, helpful, and provided excellent customer service. Cons: * The cabin was advertised as accommodating 6 people, with a queen bed, a bunk bed, and a pull-out couch. The beds were reasonably comfortable, but the couch was unusable for sleeping due to a severe dip in the middle, making it uncomfortable and likely to cause back pain. In reality, the cabin only had 4 comfortable sleeping spaces, not 6. * The propane BBQ had a very weak flame, which made it difficult to cook our food properly. * There was a sewage-like smell inside the cabin throughout the night. * There was also an unpleasant sewage smell in the campground, apparently due to the RV dumping station being located nearby. * At 3 PM on Sunday, I was told bike rentals had ended for the season. Two hours later, my upset 8-year-old saw other kids renting bikes. The staff explained they had resumed rentals due to high demand and kindly offered us a free ride, which I appreciated. However, the inconsistent information left us both disappointed. I hope this doesn't happen again.

Nice campground. No sewer hook ups but there is a dump station. Place was pretty empty when we came so was a little disappointed they put us in a pull through site that was very hard to turn into and no room for our truck. So many sites would of accomodated us better

If you have kids and they love interacting with other kids come here. Kids all over having fun. Lots of things for them to do. Splash pad and large play structure was the highlight. Although better parental supervision is required. Park was clean and staff pleasant. Some sites were very narrow however our patio site was probably the best for space. Lots of nice large trees. Park is close to Ottawa and the 401. $15 for firewood is reasonable. Only 4 stars as no sewer available (strange for KOA). Better dumping setup and control by staff during check-out is required. Road to exit was completely blocked. Even if you didn't need to dump you were forced to wait. Kids want to return so I guess we are!
