A very good campground, lots of activities for children and adults. Staff are very friendly, professional and helpful. Highway and road signage needs to be updated and more visible. Overall a great place to stay.

We had a nice site. Campground was neat, clean and well kept.Check in and out was easy, with a friendly attitude. But the campground store had very few essentials for camping. No black tank chemicals ( at a campground that has no sewage hook up). No milk or eggs.I expected more in a KOA campground.

The staff are friendly and willing to help you out anyway possible. They haven't sewers but that doesn't matter, they give you a free piggy wagon pump out if staying a week or longer, and only 15$ for other pump outs. The activities for kids on Saturdays is awesome. Crafts, bubble play, huge water slide, ice-cream social, chip wagon and pizza on site. Heated pool and splash pad. Sites well kept 5*

Excellent facilities for a 10 year old grandchild. She loved the heated pool (as did I), the two playgrounds, mini golf, "peddle bike" rental, the bouncy feature, the daily activities, including the Saturday night movie, although the mosquitoes were active, and the camp store. Friendly staff. The campground and washrooms were clean. Campground was quiet at night. Stayed July 8 to 15/24.

This is our 3rd or 4th visit to this KOA and as usual we had a great time! The staff are all super friendly and helpful, the amenities are well kept, and most importantly everyone in our group of 6 families had a blast. We'll be back again soon!

Not any fault of the owners but dropped 1 star due to the flooding following the torrential rains earlier in the week. Front staff changed our site without hesitation. Very pleasant. Will definitely return.

This was our first time at the Cardinal KOA. We were there with our family, which included our grandsons. This was an excellent place for kids. Activities all weekend for them, great pool, splash pad and park/climbing structure. Only negatives was mosquitoes at the movie under the stars. we should have used more bug repellent. The sites can be quite wet, after a storm. Most dry up.

When we arrived we were assigned site A04. We pulled our camper over to the site and realized it was totally flooded. I went back to the office and told them and they were like ohhh okay… You can pick another site, so they gave a couple options to pick from. we realized the park wasn’t even at half capacity. We were told immediately to move our trailer as we set it up ‘wrong’. We had just set up everything - all outdoor furniture, etc and we had to move it. It did nothing when we moved it. The rain we received destroyed our site and nothing was done until I spoke to them about it. Clearly it was flooded and staff were aware as they drove past our site continuously over the wknd. Not impressed.

We took our 4 granddaughters camping. Ages 11/9/6/5 they all had a great time. We like that Cardinal KOA is a small campground.

Had a patio site. Was happy with the cement pad and the furniture. BBQ was beaten up, with the grates literally full of rust holes but worst, propane ran out after 5 minutes.

Enjoyed our stay for the third year in a row as it is a treat for our grandchildren for end of school. This year five other families joined in from their school. I’m sure everyone enjoyed their stay. Thank you.

Amazing stay at the Cardinal KOA this past weekend. Lots of fun activities to keep the kids busy all day!! Staff was very friendly and helpful Very Clean campground - Bathrooms/Showers/Pool Area all very well kept Will definitely be back next summer for another visit!!

We don’t believe you can have a premium site without a sewer connection. This premium site for $135.00 was a disappointment.

We always have the best time! The facilities are clean, the activities are so organized, wood delivery is quick and the staff are incredibly friendly. We have zero complaints but I have 2 suggestions. All diapered children asked to wear double diapers in the pool, food truck to ensure the fries/food is cooked versus trying to serve as quickly as possible. Waiting longer for cooked food is okay!

This was our first time camping at KOA Cardinal and we had so much fun. There was no shortage of activities for the kids. Washrooms and showers were clean at all times. We will be back!

Sites were very small and tight. Had 4 times where pool was closed due to “pooping” in the pool. Social ice cream was advertised as 4$ per person and we were charged 5$/person. Fun organized activities and Staff were pleasant.

We had a wonderful stay. Staff are very friendly and the campground is always very clean. Only item I would improve on is more gravel around the dump station. People clearly don’t know how to nicely dump their tanks and it was a disgusting mess. Couldn’t stand out of the poop and was all over my shoes. If the area was a little higher when these people disrespect the area maybe it would help a

We had a great stay with the kids having plenty to do. However, we noticed that some sites had very poor drainage and our campfire area was flooded out due to the rain. It was muddy and impassable. Better drainage of sites would alleviate this problem in the future. Thank you.

Very nice campground with very friendly staff. Only complaint was long term rental with 3 large dogs that were tied out unsupervised and constantly barked at everything. I guess rules don't apply to long term units

Was disappointed that the food stations were not opened and did not know this before arriving as it is not mentioned on the website. As well the site we were in and given the directions we were told were unable to get into our site and had to try multiple times due to how tight the spaces are. Not as enjoyable as all are other KOA stays.

We loved the kids carnival events my son had lots of fun doing the craft and playing the carnival games. The pool was the perfect temperature and the fence removed between the splash pad and pool was a great idea as he could use both without having to exit the pool area. The playstructure, mini putt and bouncy pillows were used often. The onsite chip truck on Friday made a perfect dinner meal

The BBQ cooking grates need to be changed as rusted out on that site. Some sites need better grading as water collects. Main dump station was backed up on exit that day with sewage all over ground.

Had to leave early, I know u cannot control the weather. we got a lot of rain on the Saturday night, woke up to our site under 4”-8” of water, completely flooded. We were the only site flooded. The attendants drove by all morning but no one stopped to offer assistance with the water. We were fed up by noon and left. We enjoyed our stay and the facilities were always clean. The staff is also very friendly. The pool could be cleaned from tree debris more frequently.

This is one of the best campgrounds that we've visited. The sites are large and shaded under mature pine trees. The playgrounds have a variety of play structures and games (e.g. jumping pads, mini-putt, gaga pit, go-cart). There are many activities for family everyday and every evening (e.g. fireworks, VR game). The outdoor pool is clean and heated so it can be enjoyed at any time of the season. The staffs are very friendly and approachable. The campground is well maintained and is only 45 minutes South of Ottawa. Overall, we had a great time and would recommend it to any family.

This was our final stop before crossing into the US, after a long drive from Sturgeon Falls we were given a warm welcome and guided to our site. The facilities were functional and clean. The amenities were spot on. 10/10 would stay here again!
